its not gotten past the high 80's here in eastern WA-yet. My family loves wraps and I love making "dips" and spreading them all over the burrito then wrapping them up like a pinwheel thenjust cutting them in half. This gives my 3 girls with different tastes to choose what they want and have quite a few for quite a few days

Wonderful dips!! Love dips and salads for summer meals. The 4th of July is usually spent with kids and grandkids. The day is spent swimming,roasting hot dogs, having hamburgers,smores and all the other summer dishes. Evening we shoot off fireworks. Our summer plans are to get our condo finished on Sanibel Island that hurricane Ian took out 2yrs ago in September. We will be going down and working on it later in July. Praying no hurricanes come through.😊
I hope your condo is ok! I live in SW FL about a half hour from there and Ian was just devastating for Sanibel among other places locally. I was out there last month and it was great to see a lot of businesses have reopened, but still a lot of work to be done too. I’m with you on hoping no big storms come through the area this season!! 🙏🏻
Your kitty look so much like mine.Seeing her in your video got me so emotional because we just lost our sweet boy (Baby Kitty) a few days ago to liver cancer. It was doubly hard because we inherited him from my sister in law who passed away from breast cancer 8 years ago. He was nearly 20 years old and had a good life and we know they are together again now. Sorry to be so down in your comments but the moment just hit me 😢. On the lighter side, I absolutely love your videos, they are always inspiring 😊

It was 98 today with a heat index of 110. Last Sunday it was 102 but with practically no humidity, highly unusual for Georgia. Summer plans, trying to keep my poor garden alive. Fortunately, we have a big shade cloth to try to keep them alive.

We just got back from Florida. We will go glamping some. We are building a vacation home in the mountains. This will keep us busy.

I always laugh at food names for animals + I had a friend who introduced her cat as "Chop" & when I asked if it was abbreviated she said "Yes, Chop Suey, in case she didn't work out!" Needless to say she had teens who had named her - dear Chop lived to age 17 with no threats to her life! 🤭🤣

I wish I could share it. I searched the internet for something similar. We got it as a wedding gift and I am fairly certain it was hand made pottery.

It has been really hot here in Tennessee. I am going to Clearwater the end of July and staying for the next 3 or 4 months. I have a new grandson and I will be watching him while my daughter finishes massage therapy school. I am definitely going to make all of these there!

These dips look delicious! I love watching your channel because I can always count on you making something Greek which is my favorite! I watch Mandy in the Making & Jessica O’Donahue. Love watching you three! Y’all should do a collaboration every season! Feta and watermelon are good together but you have to make it into a summer salad. Try arugula, feta & watermelon. It’s my favorite summer salad! Funny story about arugula, I did pick up at Walmart once. Opened my box of arugula to make a salad. Didn’t have my glasses on but thought I saw something. Grabbed my glasses and there was a grasshopper looking back at me. Yep, his eyes were wide open even though he was dead! Poor guy gave his life for a salad! Can you imagine if I did not see him? I would have to call my favorite summer salad arugula, watermelon, feta & grasshopper salad! 😆

Oh yay! These look great! Our big plans for the summer are happening right now. Our 19 year old son is home from the Army for 2 weeks so we are spending time with him. ❤ Feta and watermelon with fresh mint is amazing. I think a balsamic glaze would be amazing on top, too. Mandy and Steven are great!

I always mix cream cheese with the goat cheese to make it pleasing to everyone’s tastes. Goat cheese can be a bit much for some.

I am a lover of any dip or easy appetizers!!! Its been so hot here in Georgia so anything that can be done quickly to get some food without turning on the oven, I am here for!! I have never had caprese (not sure if that's how its spelled) but I've been seeing it A LOT lately, so I think I will try it!! I don't have plans for the 4th; I've stayed home with the scared animals for years and just chilled and watch loud TV lol

Fabulous recipes this week Amber. I always have fig jam in my house, I love it so much, so guess which one I'll be making first lol. All the ingredients for these dips are pretty much what I keep in the fridge during the summer. I like to make a medley of different salads and eat them over a few days. I stock up on cold hams, lots of different cheeses etc. I even make scotch eggs to serve with mine as well as the usual coleslaw, potato salad etc. Thank you so much for sharing xxx

Love these dips!! I am absolutely trying the caprese one on the 4th, that looks delicious! I actually made the goat cheese prosciutto and fig one at Christmas last year as a hot dip and it was a HUGE success! Everyone loved it. I agree that’s it’s amazing both hot and cold. It’s literally like a charcuterie board in a dip form!
We live in SW FL and are trying to survive the insane humidity here by staying indoors mostly, which stinks, or going to the pool. We are heading up to Charlotte/ Ft Mill next week and are so excited! We want to move there hopefully next summer and are touring the area again. Then headed to Brevard after! It's 90° here and it feels like 104°. Yuckk!! I'm ready for Fall weather. Lol. We've been doing a lot of easy meals like wraps, veggie burgers, and etc. Our only Summer plan is to stay cool and get better. Both hubby and I have dealing with some health issues.
The weekend after the 4th I’m getting together with my sisters. There are 4 of us and we live an hour apart in different directions and one sister is about 2 hours away. I am kind of centrally located so they are coming to my house. One of these dips would be perfect for our get together.

My kids and grandkids just dont care for basil. We eat it sparingly where its flavor mixes well. I wonder if some baby spinach would work well for this as well?

I feel like anything made here can be converted to Keto just based on leaving out the carb. But we don't eat keto so I don't know a lot about it.
