Yummm!!! All of these deserve to be in a cookbook. They have me drooling over here.
😍😍 thank you!
@@FeedingtheByrds you're so very welcome, friend. Hope you and your family are doing well and staying cool in this heat.
What a brilliant idea putting some flour in a shaker. Love that shortcut ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
That Mexican corn salad looks amazing
Soooo good!
Bamboo makes a great cutting board.
Good to know!
Glad you had a great vacation. I hope you post more pictures from your vacation as that definitely sounds like a once in a lifetime trip. These all sound like things I need to try.
YES! It was absolutely amazing.
I love Bamboo cutting boards. They are easy to maintain. I have no problem with them absorbing meat juices or any for that matter. I use olive oil to clean and sanitize mine.
Good to know!
Another vote for Boos. I have a 48" x 36" Kitchen Island on rollers. I've had it for more than 30 years and still love it
This is such great info!
I have a Boos board and have had it for at least 20 years. It was a great investment and does not dull your knives. As someone else mentioned, I use it for everything but raw meat as it cannot be properly sanitized.
Several people have said this!
Glad you are back and glad you had a great time.
So much fun!
The BEST wooden cutting board I have ever owned I bought from JK Adams Kitchen Store in Dorset, VT. They make them right at the store. I've had it for years.
Oooooo! I'll have to look them up
Keep those for raw meat but the best cutting board I’ve ever had is a Boos Block cutting board. I clean it regularly with course salt and a half lemon but I also use a bit of bleach and water to maintain a consistent look. Fun fact, it’s said wood has a natural ability to disinfect itself.
I don't doubt it!
Since watching your channel I find myself making sure there is enough color to our meals, which means more veggies. Thanks! 😊
YES!!! I love hearing this.
Boos boards are the best and available in several sizes! I have the largest one so it can double as a charcuterie board whenever I need one. It always looks lovely in my kitchen. I do not use it for meat. I have several different colored inexpensive cutting boards that can be sanitized for meats. I generally consider these to be disposable and replace them on a regular basis.
I am definitely looking into this! Thank you!
I do not want a wooden cutting board for raw meat. Get something that will not soak the meat juice in. I would get one like your using so you could sanitize it. Save your good wooden board for everything else ❤
Thanks for the tips!
@@FeedingtheByrdsJust a reminder to adjust the feet on your stove. Keep up the good work 👍.
Thank you for these, they all
Look very delicious, hope you are staying cool! Glad you got to take your once in a lifetime trip ❤️🥰🙏 God is good!
He really is! We feel so blessed.
Make your corn in the microwave 1-3 ears on high for 3 minutes. Then finish them on the grill if you want. You don’t have to shuck the corn before you put them in the microwave and the skin as well as the silk will come right off.
Oh great tip!
Level your stove. These dishes look delicious
Thank you!
Awesome recipes, Amber ❤️👍❤️👍
Thanks so much! 😊
Bamboo cutting board are great
Ok good to know!
These recipes looks yummy
Glad you like them!
If you hsve gas stove you can roast your corn there or under broiler i think both ways would give that grilled flavor
Why didn't I think of that?
Put a post it note by your coffee pot that says fix the stove!!!!! Lol😅 that will be an easy reminder !!!!
Haha! That would definitely help. Bc you know I'm not going to skip coffee
I have found that when it comes to kitchen equipment, you can't go wrong if you purchase according to the recommendations of America's Test Kitchen.
Ooo good to know!
Hi... I love your channel!!! You're recipes are so yummy but I have no choice but to double them. I need advice on how to perfectly double a recipe without making it too salty... Thanks
Ooo. I wish I could help. Honestly since I don't measure, that's a hard one for me. I feel like it's just a trial and error unfortunately.
I've found you can trim the strings off the top of the corn, then put the corn cobs in the microwave for three minutes. You need to keep the cob leaves on.
Three minutes later take out the corn. Take the leaves off and ready to eat. In 3 minutes!
You will love it!
Whoa!!! REally?? I've never heard of this.
Just heard something on TV about not using wood for meat, poultry or seafood.
Veggies and cheese only. Bread ok too.
Good tip!
cool
All of that beautiful fondant, too. Don't forget the feet on your stove. Mine leans back. It's very frustrating. I'm glad you mentioned the beer. I'm not fond of the flavor. I'm definitely going to try all 3.
They are so good! You won't be disappointed
I got some money gonna get a good bamboo cutting board. I forget all the properties of it, but it’s supposed to be the best wooden cutting board to have.
Good to know!
Black beans would went well in the corn salad
Absolutely!
Everything Looks sooooooo good!
Hey don’t forget to adjust the feet on your oven. Amber!
I did it last night!!! 😍😍
Your vacation sounds like a dream come true! Please, please share more with some pics!
I have had my wood cutting board from IKEA for 10+ years
Nice!

I have never heard anyone pronounce Caprese the way you do however I am from Canada so ya know eh? lol
😀😍
If you don't like lime, could you use lemon instead.
Sure!
Great video! Have you fixed those feet on your stove yet??😉
yes!! lol
I forget names of the pots and pans I cook in. I wonder why that is?
I call it mom brain!
Hey. Adjust the feet on your oven, would ya ??!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I did it! Finally
Do you kids really est the dishes you make ie caprese chicken?
Absolutely!! My daughter doesn't like mushrooms and my son will pretty much eat anything but he doesn't love the consistency of mashed potatoes. They've never been picky eaters really, but we also have always eaten so many different types/kinds of foods. They've been introduced to many foods from an early age.
Oven Feet! Fix it soon. 😂
Did it!! Thank you
