I still find it fascinating to watch this, knowing the car in my garage went through this very process. These cars were the last of the traditional Ferraris. Truly hand crafted and unique in every way, not one identical to another. I love having a part of Maranello magic. Forza Ferrari !
Greatest video I've ever seen before. I love the moment when the box with set of pistons and conrods for F113 Testarossa engine is opened in 5:39 - the background music is a masterpiece! Greetings from Poland!
I've always thought vintage Ferrari's were beautiful, but what makes it many times more expensive than say a jaguar? Maybe I'm not getting the point, but nothing shown in this production film wowed me as being way more advanced than other less expensive sports cars.
Owen Cao I know exactly what you are saying...But I have the priveledge of owning one for seven years, heartbroken that I sold which is another story that I probably will never get over. I wondered like you too once about these cars and all I can say is that they have a soul. every part that I worked on was hand made including the nuts and bolts, There was parts thrown into the car that were also fiat! things like the handbrake was the same as a fiat 500 and the door handles like an x19 but everything else absolute craftsmanship where nothing was 100 percent accurate yet this car managed to pull almost 170mph in the 70s where most cars could do 80mph flat out. besides all that if I could turn back the clock I would never have sold.
Owen Cao, As an owner of one of these Ferraris, I can honestly say, there is something magical in these cars. It's hard to explain. I've wanted one for as long as I can remember. 10 years now and not even close to saying goodbye. The great Michael Schumacher was once quoted in saying, "he got in his F1 Ferrari and something magical happened, the car almost drove it's self.'' (Para phrasing there) It's like they are a living thing and not just a machine. There is no "mark" that captures the imagination like a Ferrari. Why ? Like I said,...magic.
+AbsolutelyWonder Full I know! And all that hot liquid metal etc. I had some additional photos and must find them as there was a picture of a guy working on the bodywork with a cigarette in his mouth, Imagine that happening today in the Ferrari factory! , Everything has changed so much since then.
Hi Stephen, I was sent this video many years ago when I owned a Ferrari at the time by a fellow Ferrari owner so I have no idea as it was on a usb stick and thought I would share it on here. I couldn't find this video anywahere else but please feel free to copy and share it. Best regards Stephen

The ultimate union between high tech precision but human hand craftsmanship, touch, and attention to detail.
For one second... I feel 1985 as the present day. Damn... that 308 is really really beautifull. Thanks for the upload.
+Daniel Dz I know exactly what you mean, I was very lucky once to own one of these beautiful cars.
