@@IslamCritiquedi would like to throw a question of mine in your commendbox if i may. when you read the Bible and something evil is depicted or when God takes tough action in the Old Testament and you see a strong power that you should be afraid of, if you compare that with the evil you read in the Koran, then are we Christians and Jews given the same kind of be against of as we are asked to be against sinn? it seem mohammed has picked up the wavelength of important keynotes of our believe structure and gave it a different meaning. so for as long as we search for god they do the same only in their language it means hate us. if this would be true then either we should stop searching or start to explain our searching to interfere with their hatred? 🤴🏽

I could be completely wrong but ... here is my opinion about this. The Quran appears to me as some sort of cookbook from more than a millennia ago on how to turn a complete society into a war machine against any non-member or "infidel", not just the Jews or Israel. For quite a long time it worked since it resulted in the creation of the Caliphates. Put a society engineered on perpetual growth and conquering - using millennia old methods - in a place like Gaza and the result is quite predictable.

Me too. I'm also sick of being accused of excusing everything modern Israel has done in the name of Jewish people just because I'm not defending HAMAS and the people they represent. I'm capable of knowing what my biased tendencies are and working through them.
Mo fostered an evil spirit that's still plaguing us today. I have the feeling that Americans are about to find out what it's actually like to have to live among them. Moderate western Muslims is mostly what we know about here but when those that actually read and study their source material are here in any large number it's probably going to get really ugly. I hope not but if we get involved on the ground and their propagandists continue to have sympathetic ears we may see massacres "for Allah" like we've never seen. That would quite possibly lead to a type of civil wore (that's intentional spelling) here since there are plenty of well armed citizens that simply will not allow them to live if they attack us on our own soil.
Remember, we demand an inalienable right to firearms here and that will include anyone given citizenship as a refugee. 😬
Oh, I wanted to add that there's a reason why Muslims in Israel generally have a good view of Jews and those that have a negative view are still fairly moderate in their views. There's something to really think about there.

They actually knew Muhammad was the prophet and that is exactly why they travelled to Madinah in the first place based on the descriptions of him and where he would be in their scripture. Some of them did accept Islam but most did not because he was an Arab instead of Jew and this is in line with what they did historically with their prophets. Their book speaks about the generations of evil and wicked Israelites the Torah came through who would disobey God and go against everything he told them to do, change their scripture, provoke God to anger, bring shame on their faces, kill their prophets even as they wanted to do Muhmmad as well.
They didn't' have to accept Islam to not be killed as they were already living under Islamic rule in Madinah and they had gotten away with bad actions and breaking the law before that. You can't sell state secrets to enemies, try to assassinate your leader, harass people, break treaties, etc and not expect to be punished by the law in the land you're in. There was no compulsion for them to be Muslim but they did have to follow the laws that they themselves agreed to, just like everyone else anywhere in the world. But alas, one by one, their tribe and the other Jewish tribes, did what they had all done before and went against God and His prophets before save a few.

Just like Pharaoh against the God of Moses, he was put into the same valley of decision 10 times, and he failed all of it.
Even the 10th time was, to the ancient Egyptian king, a momentary lapse of judgement, before he mustered all his remaining pride to defy the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
I see this threshold point in time as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob goading every person on earth to not waste time in coming to a definite decision on who’s side you want to be on:

Hearing a Muslim say that on the phone is beyond disgusting. Though not that surprising because I've read the Qur'an too, there are verses that say nice things concerning Jews (and Christians) we're the People of the Book but sadly as we go along, it is impossible to miss the bitter ones. Concerning those who do not believe in Allah nor the Last Day, it's death (Surah 9:29) and we're the worst of creatures (Surah 98:6).
I've had Muslims telling verses like Surah 2:256, 5:32 and 109:1-6 to prove Islam is a religion of peace but with the doctrine of abrogation applied to 2:256 for 9:29, the wider context of 5:32 and most recently, I found out the contradiction between 109:6 and 8:39, make me look toward the opposite, especially with what Jews in Israel are going through right now.
I know most of our Jewish friends don't believe in Jesus as the Promised Messiah but as Christians, we are commanded by the Lord Jesus Himself to pray even for our enemies (Matt. 5:44)
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for that vile organization (Hamas) gone and its people given the chance to hear the Gospel and by the help of the Holy Spirit be saved.
I do pray too that both Jews and Palestinians will continue to coexist peacefully without Hamas and Islam altogether.
Thank you for your patience and God bless

Jesus followed Judaic law or if you are saying he's God, that means he wrote Judaic Law which was not all about praying for enemies but also involved capital punishment for many crimes of enemies, disbelievers and believers. This is the law he said he came to uphold that only Paul abolished, not Jesus. The same law Paul called a ministry of death was far more violent and harsh than what is in the Quran

    • @frennysala7039
      @frennysala7039 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@nunya54 Hello there,
Nice of you to drop by my door, though what you offer here, is not that surprising since I've heard of a Muslim who wanted to make Jesus seem to advocate for violence than Muhammad.
Aye, indeed he points many things concerning the law but he clearly teaches that while it is said, "Love your neighbour and hate your enemy" (Matt. 5:43). He wants us to pay attention when he says "But I say unto..." then proceeds "Love your enemies..." (Matt. 5:44). There's no indication that he means something else behind it, especially that in the next verse,
"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matt. 5:45).
He demonstrates here how God loves both the just and the unjust in the sense that both receive the sun's light and heaven's rain. Where's the violence here?
Of course while it is true that certain passages concerning the Law require the death of transgressors by stoning them. The question is, is it his ideal law? No.
Even the Lord Jesus when he's confronted by the Pharisees about the issue of the writing of divorcement (Matt. 19:7)
He answers and it is written, " He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so." (Matt. 19:8)
Then proceeds to say what he had already said in Matt. 5:32,
"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
He also doesn't condone the stoning of adulterers as demonstrated in Joh. 7:53-8:11. He shows us here in this story that for anyone to have the right to stone an adulterer, he must be without sin.
Yet none of us are sinless as St. Paul rightly puts it, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Rom. 3:23)
The Lord Jesus gives his disciples no chance to defend him by the sword on the night of his arrest. St. Peter attempts to do exactly that and cuts off an ear (Joh. 18:10) but does Jesus even honor that act or praise St. Peter for it? No, instead it is written,
"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." (Matt. 26:52).
Even when at the point of having been crucified, he doesn't spill any hatred for his enemies but says, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do..." (Lu. 23:34)
An event I know Muslims usually won't acknowledge because if they do, they'll cross Surah 4:157's line. Something even Dr. Bart Ehrman, one of the people Muslims often cite to debunk Christianity, acknowledges that Jesus died and was certainly crucified.
Thank you for bringing this issue up and God bless you

@@nunya54if the Jews changed their scriptures why didn't they remove the many, many criticisms the tanakh makes of the Jewish people? Like if you look critically you will see the Qur'an is the rantings of one authoritarian and narcissistic man who was incapable of laughing at himself or hearing criticism... where as the Hadith are the table talk of his cult followers (people who had a vested interest in making Muhammad look far better than he was because it makes their own venality and cowardice less obvious) .
By contrast the Torah is: very inconvenient to follow (even more inconvenient to follow outside of Israel and some commandments can only be followed within Israel. Remember the positive commandments (Israel shall keep the shabbat) are equally important as the negative commandments (Israel shall not eat unclean animals, which is then defined).
Then the prophets over several centuries never actually contradict the Torah... then the writings (the history of Samson, David, Solomon and the less than righteous kings of Judah and Israel that followed them, the Psalms and the Song of Songs)
So why didn't the Jews remove the many prophetic statements that embarrass the Jewish people both as individuals and as a whole? Why is it that the salacious stories about Samson, David and Solomon were kept, even though these men are far more revered by Jewish people than say Jeremiah, Zechariah, Micah Hosea, Amos-prophets who criticised the people of Israel in very harsh language? Indeed if the Jews were in the habit of changing their scriptures to serve their own interests why didn't they remove the embarassing stories about David and concoct them about Amos? etc
Why isn't the Tanakh as self serving as the Qur'an?
Also the Talmud is a series of conversations between rabbis: some of those rabbis held bad opinions and yet their opinions are recorded, some of them held minority opinions which were rejected by other Jews yet their opinions are still recorded... some of the rabbis whose lives are recorded in the Talmud did embarrassing things yet still became righteous... some of them were martyred by the Roman invaders... there is no sense in the Talmud that we are witnessing self serving cult followers who betrayed fatherhood Abu Bakr who pimped out his 9 year old daughter to gain access to power, or Safiyya who feigned conversion to Islam to cover up her own cowardice and shame)... rather the Talmud is heterogeneous and honest in what it records .. it harmonises perfectly with the Tanakh.

i disagree. the religion wars are the hardest to stop. bc how do you prove to someone that their bs religion is bs, and practically anti-religion? you can't really, right? It's easier to beat a human ideology than any bs which has to do with the afterlife. Therefore people who participate in religion crusades are by definition the most d*mented. They last the longest. Communism and Nazis wars last just a few years and then the ideology mainly collapsed and so did the governing structures around it.
The middle east's religion wars have collapsed their societies over and over for hundreds of years, but they still think they're right and it's "God's plan".
We should really just start calling them anti-religion wars at this point, tbh, bc that's what they are. They're always about trying to destroy someone else's faith bc you cannot stand their beliefs. Maybe that would help. It's helpful for people to be able to draw clear lines in the sand wth these types of conflicts. We must not forget that 99% of people understand religion is NOT about killing other people. It's just the 1% which are somehow always confused. @Mysotris1

I really think this does not get discussed enough btw. But terrorist gangs should definitely be seen as ''anti-religion" and any form of morality. If religion was trully what they believed in they would never be ok with working with china or russia, which are communist entities and do not believe in God at all. They're ok collaborating with such entities though, bc terrorists are anti-religion and anti-morality. Any form of morality, no matter how basic, they're against. @Mysotris1

To be fair, Christianity is very anti-Jew. It's clearly that the "New" testament (which is already offensive per se) was made by Romans and they were notoriously antisemitic.
If you read the Gospels and Paul's letters as a rebel Jew of the 1st and 2nd century, you can see clearly why Jesus is not accepted by Jews. It's a fake Messiah, better saying, an anti-Messiah. He does the opposite of the expected Messiah. He's pro-Rome, sees no trouble with the Jewish slavery, tells them to "love the enemies" (Romans), turn the cheeks (to the Roman violence, of course), is very friendly with Romans, but not so much with Jews in general, says to pay taxes to the Empire, etc. Not to mention some jokes in these texts mocking the Jews.
People read the New testament with "Christianized" (or "romanized") eyes. The winner makes the history. Just change the point of view from the winner to the loser and see the difference.
Even the Christian symbols and icons like fish, cross, sun, all of this came from Greek - Roman mythology. They just twisted the Jewish prophecies and scriptures and made a "Roman" version stuffing every Roman/Greek god as possible in the Jesus character like Mitra, Bacus, Hermes, Augustus, Ceasar, Vespasianus, Titus, etc. It's quite obvious. We can't blame the Jews on that. They're right.
I don't believe that existed even a historical Jesus at this point. Religions are politics after all and people in those times did politics using mythology and cults. Romans were experts on that. Nowadays, it's not different as we can see.

the history of anti semitism is rooted in the jews having the bible, and being a race for God. Basically, hated for being different and holding to much higher moral standards than other nations. It was in the 19th centuries that antisemitism took on a more ideological form, where racialism was added to the mix. Of all peoples, Jewish were the only people who had no home for 2000 years; Romans called it Palestrina as a cruel jibe, as root comes from the word for philistines, arch enemies of the Hebrews. During WW2 the grand Mufti had cordial relations with Hitler.

Lol, all this time I thought this is common knowledge, I grew up hearing all that. You are in west are naive. Being an atheist now I am with my popcorn for bloody show. Not a great show to witness however it’s not ending any time soon.
Ps: with Enlightenment in west, west think whole world has caught up, far from reality. More than half a world still in their mind and worldview stuck in past, the enlightenment in west was no co incidence that any society would just go through with time, it’s careful tradition of improvement by challenging their own held beliefs and ready to challenge them. It’s a culture of criticism which gave rise to modern science and morality and etc as David Duesth ( not correct spelling of his surname, but he wrote few ground breaking books) would say. I have seen this phenomena only in few countries other than west, in my opinion it’s Japan, Korean and India. However west seems loose some grip on it but still its institutions are strong.

Problem comes when due to mass unchecked immigration, it has created the situation of political correctness, and vote bank politics. Your great institutions like universities, democracy, press, judiciary are highjacked by those who has no understanding of culture and conflit of interests arises when it comes to make decisions, they have skewed lens to see world which they have grown up, which is projection of their societies mindset.
example: A pakistani who born in US or Europe still see natives through the lens of ideology(religion) and culture of pakistan, its so ingrained deeply in them from childhood to see west from lens which is still stuck in dark ages. not to say all people are like that but more than majority has religion so deeply stuffed, they see Western value as inferior to theirs.
PS: west is not perfect but west has figure out to change itself with time thought criticizing its own ideas. you will never see any Arab or pakistani or bangladeshi or infact was majority of people saying we were wrong on this or we have this moral or any problem in our societies. infact they defend everything.
