@@natandelreal1826 it dropped to 83% but I don’t mind, it’s ok for me, if I have to charge it in the evening, I can give it a boost, its not the end of the world how many people are whining.

@@todor5312 enough hours. I just don’t care. Definitely it’s not a phone to stay all day long on it without a MagSafe battery in your pocket. I have one and it’s fine. I rarely have to use it, maybe once a month.

I bought my 12 mini two days after 14s came out, and it´ been a pleasurr to use. I really like the lightness and the fact that it can actually fit in my hand. Battery life is okay for me too, because i use my phine most ehrn i travel to and from work, so it can easily last me 2 day. Best phone i ever had
Really, I am getting one right now I don't know about the size because my hands are kid sized so maybe its good, its just smaller than my 8 plus right now

I love my 12 mini, I’ve had it for two years and I’m hoping it’ll last me at least another 2, also because of its lack in popularity I’m constantly finding accessories for it at a really low price. I just picked up an otter box defender pro xt for a 13 mini but will also fit my 12 mini for 15 bucks in the clearance section!
Im thinking about replacing my galaxy a32 5g as its slow, sluggish,and not that good, the camera quality is terrible,the gaming performance and the processor is awful,and its just a bad phone to own in general. I was thinking about either getting a s21,s21 fe, pixel 6,6a,iphone 12 mini or a iphone se 3. Which one of these would be good for gaming and taking photos
@@preston8872 I had (and still have as a burner) the a32. I was using it to get a feel of android. In terms of user friendliness? It's got some features i wish the iphones had. But nothing thats dealbreaking. The camera quality, processing power, display, and speed of an iphone is always going to be better. For gaming, go s21. For usability, iphone 12 mini.
Thank you for your honesty! I don’t have a lot of money but still badly need a new phone that will last me a couple of years (I’m using an iPhone 5s as a daily driver). I was thinking of the 12 mini since it’s way cheaper than the 12.. I’m glad I found your video now

I’ve had my 12mini yes it is still worth it , my battery is at 83% battery life after two years and I’m going to switch out the battery when I need to don’t knock the phone ; you get what you get when you buy it and we all knew the battery was a bit wonky , get what you get and don’t throw a fit

I’ve had mine for 2yrs, I think, it is totally worth it however please when you go buy a phone treat staff as consultants. They all straight asked me what are we using this phone for? My answer between carriers even was always I need to make emergency calls if my kids are here & I sometimes watch vids enjoy social media etc. it isn’t made for movie buffs it isn’t for content creators it is a more practical phone & I still love it. I even have lived careless with two younger children now 5&6 two hrs ago 3&5 I have little songs on it but I’m totally impressed with the durability & they like watching & using my phone. It does overheat it’s smaller phone it unfortunately overheats on charge nothing running background. I still get my beta updates etc. I really love my 12mini. It fits my hands perfectly I know battery & heat freaks out people but I know how to self diagnose & it’s been lovely. As for the matt finish problem I actually prefer liquid screen protectants & glass protectors. But this is my phone love it.
It’s small and comfortable to use rather then holding 2 hands to text or do other things battery life is also strong never had a issue honestly iPhone 12 mini is great like other iPhone
The glossy glass back is actually better because it's more grippier than a matte one :) a good thing when not using a case
I have 12 mini and i love size. Sadly they replaced it by Plus version :(
Feb 2023, I just upgraded to the 256GB Version, since TMobile was have a 1/2 price with new line promotion and all storage size were the same price. I was initially, getting a new line for my youngest son, so with this promotion, I will keep the 256GB and give him my 64GB. But in hindsight, I should have go a different color, I got the same color of blue.

I got a free 6a from my carrier but kept my 12 Mini and sold the 6a.
6a battery and camera were better in my opinion.
But the form factor of the 12 Mini is way more comfortable for me, I found the 6a too tall.
And I also preferred Siri over google assistant.
Pixel 6a won the blind camera test in MKBHD’s camera test. Also the performance and battery is pretty good for an average user. If u like compact phones then 12 mini is good,except its battery life.
So if it got 4 hours screen on time after 2 years and that's not enough for a whole day, isn't that a sign you use your phone too much?
Buying an iPhone 12 mini, coming from android, it's my entry point towards the apple ecosystem.

I’m finally upgrading. I love and hate this phone my biggest issue has and always been the audio. People can’t hear me or they say I sound really low. Under warranty I was able to get 4 I phone 12 minis and each one has had the same problem
Bought a used one from a year ago. I do agree. Battery is kinda bad but it is good enough for a full day. I advrage about 7 hours screen on and about 1.5 hours of screen off. This is all with a battery health of 85%. I do a lot of moderate gaming, video editing and music on it. I do want to point out a big issue i have is software bugs. A lot of simple apps (built in apps) tend to freeze up the phone and crash. I have reset and restarted my phone a lot. Overall im super happy with it other then the bugs
Been running on a iPhone SE 2016 for about 2 to 3 years now, moving 'back' to it from an iPhone 8 Plus, I just had it replaced by T-mobile. I love the size, but I understand that it will slowly be phased out, no more updates and I have noticed some sluggish network issues. So moving to the 12 mini over the older first gen SE would be good for me, as far as battery, the SE last me all day, but I do carry a battery pack designed for the iPhone. I think I will make the move to the 12 mini based on price, if I can find a 13 mini, better, definitely not moving to the 14, don't like the new SIM design.

@@Voiceinhead This funny went u think about, since I went ahead and purchased the 12 mini at a local shop. I paid about $225, a bit lower then Black market. In excellent condition, blue, 64gb, and it is definitely faster. I am still using the SE for morning and evening alarms, AND other stuff at home, since I cloned the SE to the 12 mini via cloud backup. Battery does NOT seem to be an issue and I am not power user and only use it to talk or text, some email. I have a samsung 9plus for streaming, so that is a cheat, and I used a ipad for school and web browsing, so that is another cheat. Main reason I changed was that I noticed the network sluggish. Overall, am happy with the move, size is comparable, the mini without a case is the same size SE with a case. Only slightly larger with a case. I say do the move if u are having issues with the SE.

This phone is a beast. If it had a thicker design as you mentioned and a better battery life, I would have got this phone without a doubt. But I think I am a heavy user too (I game a lot, watch RUclips and stuff) so I would have to charge it like 3 times a day. I mean, I wouldn’t mind to so when I am at home but it would be a pain in the butt for me to do it outside. So I’m skipping this device in 2023. Thanks for the video❤

I had mine for 4-5 months and it's sooo good. I would recommend picking up one used because if you want to buy new go for the 13 mini
These iPhones with the smaller batteries NEED a powercase or power bank to go along side them. I'm currently using a 2020 SE as my 13 mini broke, it's on 80% health and while it's usable it's pretty abysmal. You do two hours of gaming, some light emails and it needs to be plugged in. As most of these phones (including the 12 mini) are bordering very closely to 4 years old now the batteries are the main let down as they were bad even on release day.
It’s now 150 usd on the 2nd mkt for reasons. It was expensive at launch.

Wouldn’t the 12 mini be already a more optimal choice than the SE?
I mean there are many points that makes the 12 mini a better choice like: the design, the screen size, the dual camera, the Face ID (maybe?). Also, the gesture are more well implemented on the 12 mini, so you don’t have to press the touch button, even if you were fond of the touch button and even if you are some of those people that shout that having a touch button is better, having a full display phone and using only the gestures is nowadays a MUST HAVE.
Also, the 12 mini has a MagSafe so you can buy a magnet power bank and you won’t have any battery problems, I mean if you use it as a secondary device I suppose you don’t have any problem carrying one more device, that you can easily put behind the 12 mini, no?

Sure the battery is underwhelming, but if you can manage that (I use a magsafe powerbank) then it is fantastic due to its form factor.

@@rickyrahma3611 Can't go wrong with Anker! If it's too pricey, any brand really would do as long as it's established enough. I also tried Veger and it was decent.
Pocket phone must be these size but battery has low capacity they could make phone thick twice with large battery and also add some technical and working features

I got my phone the week it came out and my battery is now down to 82%, luckily the price for a battery replace is now down to around 70 bucks and when it was new it was fine, so that may be something to consider. Other than that it’s a solid phone but I’m starting to see the older phone stuff such as random freezing here and there, but still not too major yet.

@@preston8872 get the 12 because it has good battery life around 5-6 hours and the photos still hold up nicely the display is good and you get atleast 5 years of software and the a14 is still probably a top processor and the se3 is horrible right now because of how similar it is to the iPhone 8 with a lot of stuff being outdated

I just ordered a 12 mini because I'm going to be traveling soon and I wanted something light and portable, but now I'm not sure if I made the right call, if I'm going to need to bring a powerbank with me too.
I cannot afford more expensive iPhones than this. For me the choice was between the iPhone SE 3 or the iPhone 12 Mini. So I'm going against your recommendation. A powerbank is not that so inconvenient to use when needed for me, it is certainly worth not having to pay a lot more money just for the luxury of not carrying it on trips.
I'm buying it grade A refurbished with 128GB minimum.
bought mine yesterday for 21k PHP (379USD) with 87%. It'll last roughly 10 hours with minimal usage. Well, that's what you get for wanting a smaller phone that fits your hand.

ok i dont understand .. .every1 says the battery sux ... but what does that mean? like i used it alot.. what does i use it alot mean? and for what ?? using a phone 1h sot for watching a video or using twitter or listening to music on deezer will have the battery usage be different all the 3 times .. so my question is, using the phone for twitter and insta, and some msgs , and now n then listening to music.. can it make it a day? for ex. the past week almost identially i been using my android between 3 and 3.5h screen on time .. can this phone make it for a day when one has all these informations to compare?

it’s up to you which do you preferred.. battery is just average, not the best nor worst.. if you want the size of 12 mini go for it, you’ll get better oled display with thinner bezel, 5g, flat modern design, more updates, better camera and performance except for the battery.. you will not regret it 😊 believe me.. display of 12 mini is way better than the 11

11 pm if you don’t mind the 5g, 11 pm has way better battery life compared to 12 mini considering to its size.. But if you want the form factor of the 12 mini go for it, sure you will not regret it

12 mini is the worst. Mine loses service when it over heats. And it overheats with just watching RUclips. Battery like is at 78% and I’ve had this phone for 12 months.

just use genuine powerbrick and cable bruh, and don’t abuse the phone. charge it when it came down to 30% and remove when it reach 80 or 90%.. phones overheat when the battery was degraded and not on it’s peak performance
