It seems that for reasons I can't guess at, D.I.D. are no longer including flare dimensions with this tool; my brand-new (May 2020) genuine D.I.D. KM500R didn't have them in the instructions. In case it helps anyone else, here's a link to their catalogue: didchain.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/0314_en_catalog.pdf ... the sizes are on Page 9.
"Great if you're American", hahaha! I find it hard to understand how our cousins across the pond can be so advanced technologically but still use backward Imperial measurement and their own version of measuring volume! Metric, guys, METRIC! Get with the program! (Having said that I still prefer mph and gallons though, lol, time I shut up). Great vid by the way. Was that information on rivet flare included with the chain?
Excellent, im just about to do my GPX 600 chain, just waiting for my link and flaring tool to come.
Having the manual for riveting measurements (2:48) was great, well prepared mechanic.
