This is an old Dutch milk tart!! Very nice. If the evaporated milk is too rich, you can use ordinary milk, it gives a beautiful custard, which is actually all it is. Very nice, thank you young lady. Hello. I made it today and it wqas perfect. I have a fan oven so i reduced the heat to 20degrees less and for the second settings i made it 30 minutes only..Thanks for the recipe :)
I tried this today. The sweetness of the filling is just right and the crust is also flaky. My filling got a little overbaked but it's still delicious. Thanks again for this recipe. 😊

This was delicious and I cut the sugar to 3/4 cup. I also just cooked it for 15 minutes at 180 and 40 minutes at 160 and it was done.
