      Thank you! I love them too, they’re so beautiful and unique. I’m hoping to upgrade my group to a tank twice this size in the next year.

    The tank looks amazing as always. Your setups are literally so inspiring every time I watch you set something up I want to tear down every tank/terrarium I own and re do them lmfao😅💀

      Thank you so much! and I'd say go for it haha! as we observe our little animal friends we learn more and more about their behaviour and what they do/don't like. Redoing a tank is a great opportunity to create something that will work even better for them!

      I’m imagining my dream set up for my future rope fish. This has greatly impacted how I’m going to set up my tank.

    Good call with the botanicals! It looks so good and they seem to love it! Ropefish are incredible; I have never seen them for sale in my area.

      I’ve never seen them in any store as well, but my brother one day stumbled upon a website selling them and the rest is history haha.

      @@GuiltyPleasures2 I’d recommend you get more, but it’s up to you. They are a social species and I often see mine curled up togheter. That said, I keep four of them but only three of those seem to get along. One of them keeps chilling alone.

    Any idea how to get my rope fish to swim in the open more or how long it’ll take for it to adjust?

    • @CrunchyFern
      @CrunchyFern  2 месяца назад

      In my experience they become less shy the more hiding space they have. Adding coconut hides and leaves really made a difference. How many do you have? They are a social fish and are more out going if they are kept in groups.

      @@juanname5599 in that case I think he might just be lonely. I recommend you look into getting another one (or two). It will make them more confident and they love to curl up togheter! Mine often share a single coconut hide among the four of them haha.
