The tank looks amazing as always. Your setups are literally so inspiring every time I watch you set something up I want to tear down every tank/terrarium I own and re do them lmfao😅💀
Thank you so much! and I'd say go for it haha! as we observe our little animal friends we learn more and more about their behaviour and what they do/don't like. Redoing a tank is a great opportunity to create something that will work even better for them!
@@GuiltyPleasures2 I’d recommend you get more, but it’s up to you. They are a social species and I often see mine curled up togheter. That said, I keep four of them but only three of those seem to get along. One of them keeps chilling alone.
In my experience they become less shy the more hiding space they have. Adding coconut hides and leaves really made a difference. How many do you have? They are a social fish and are more out going if they are kept in groups.
@@juanname5599 in that case I think he might just be lonely. I recommend you look into getting another one (or two). It will make them more confident and they love to curl up togheter! Mine often share a single coconut hide among the four of them haha.

I really like the leaf litter and as it turns out the ropefish love it as wel! What do you guys think?
I’m imagining my dream set up for my future rope fish. This has greatly impacted how I’m going to set up my tank.
So happy to hear that! Did you already manage to get your ropefish?
Good call with the botanicals! It looks so good and they seem to love it! Ropefish are incredible; I have never seen them for sale in my area.
I’ve never seen them in any store as well, but my brother one day stumbled upon a website selling them and the rest is history haha.
I love rope fish and am hoping to get some in the next year. I LOVE your build. Very nicely done
Thank you! I love them too, they’re so beautiful and unique. I’m hoping to upgrade my group to a tank twice this size in the next year.
You’re living the dream! I love it! I can’t wait to see it 😁
I think they really like their leaves 😎😎😎
They really do! they're constantly chillling in there 😎😎
Waiting for my ropefish to arrive today! Excited!
Awesome! How many did you get?
@@CrunchyFern just one. Thoughts on that?

@@CrunchyFern i appreciate the feedback. If I’m going to do it, I better order since there’s only one left.
@@GuiltyPleasures2 go for it! They will be awesome!
Wow 🤩 it was interesting to know about!
Glad you like it! 😄
Never tried leaves,I think I'm missing out.Wow
Mine seem to absolutely love the leaves! They’re constantly inspecting the leaves, looking for food and just chilling in between the leaves haha
Any idea how to get my rope fish to swim in the open more or how long it’ll take for it to adjust?

@@CrunchyFern it’s a fully planted 75 gallon tank with Denison barbs, angels, and bosmani. I only have 1 rope fish in the tank

@@CrunchyFern they aren’t territorial?
@@juanname5599quite the opposite! They are cuddle noodles haha
