It's a shame that Hasbro focuses on #ReturnToTatooine instead of Revenge of the Sith 20th Anniversary. Ever since Hasbro revealed a new Clone Wars, Anakin and the 501st phase 1 clone (Clone Lieutenant) gave me slight hope. Still, we need more prequel figures in the TVC line, especially more clone battalions outside of the 501st or 212th, but there should be no mixed battalion in a 4-pack. I spent about 1K to get (20) 501st troopers, (20) 332nd troopers, and (40) shinies, and it's tough to army build a mixed battalion. Therefore, a clone trooper 4-pack should focus on one battalion or Legion, such as the 104th Battalion, Shock Troopers, 327th Star Corps, etc.
Hasbro has made the perfect clone mold! They need to start making more clone variants and new Clone Commanders, particularly those from Order 66 scenes. Of course, we should add some from TCW because we desperately need Captain Vaughn to accompany the 332nd troopers.
I am very bummed to see the lack of attention for ROTS! We still need the main commanders and clone units from the movie, plus having updated main characters would be always welcome!
I definitely agree that they should make more clone units, but I just want to point out that this 4-pack isn't mixing units. The Ahsoka marking 332nd, regular 501st, and plain troopers all appeared as a part of the 332nd Division at various points during the siege of Mandalore.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 I know it's based on the Siege of Mandalore, but the majority aren't fans of mixed battalion due to becoming difficult to army build if you only want 501st or 332nd.

One thing that always bugged me about Rex in Phase II armor merch in a realistic style plus TCW/TBB Clones with Pauldrons is that the pauldrons are left stylized and both the VC45 Phase II Rex and VC269 mould Rex had stylized belts with no ROTS accurate holsters. While Rex's appearance in Ahsoka gave him the stylized pauldron (thus contradicting the fact when Bly and his troopers appeared in TCW S7, they used the Rex pauldron, thus making it clear the Rex pauldron was intended to be an stylized version of the ROTS pauldron like how the first TCW pauldron was also (originally) intended to be an stylized version of the ROTS pauldron), instead of the ROTS one, the belt with holsters and kama were off looking.
For Rex, I rather stick with the Black Series 2018 6 inch figure, due to having a better belt with ROTS accurate holsters. And even if I do get the new TVC Rex, he will not be my defacto Rex, and will only get him for his helmetless headsculpt.
@@LorcanWoosteralt I fully agree! The wide variety of appearances and styles that clones get shown in makes it confusing but there certainly is a design language tying them all together. It’s frustrating when designs ignore that, like Ahsoka Rex, and then it mixes up all the other appearances and what is “canon” vs what is interpretation
The new 4 pack is probably my favorite 3.75 clone release in years, the Rex…. Is not that 💀
Agreed on the clones, but I will stand by Rex as being TECHNICALLY the best TVC Rex we have gotten, but that is heavily biased thanks to the new body
UGGH I'm so annoyed by th Ahsoka show chest deco for the 501st, especially since the helmet deco is based on OWK.
