Great video! Was fun watching these two talk about the rare collectibles they like most, lots of excitement in their faces and voices and the paperwork from toy companies is definitely cool! Wish I kept some of that stuff. Learned a lot about the coins too, never delved that deep into it but was really cool to learn some of that about the rarer ones. Great shows! Keep um coming! 🎉

That was fun. I worked at a collectables store in the 90's that was family owned since the 1950's. The owner brought in a case fresh of Star Wars Empire Stricks Back figures that was still factory sealed. He knew I was a big Star Wars fans and he wanted me to open it and see what I could get for them? He had it in his closet since 1980. It was 1996 and the hype was really growing at that point with the Power of the Force line hitting stores. I could sit and talk toys all day every day if I could. I miss working there dealing in toys and getting paid for it is the best! Bobby you're killing it brother! And Ryan is a really cool dude. Really enjoy both of what you guys do. Keep up the great work bro!

Do more of these videos. Pick certain lines or rare to find toys. Even talk about the current state of the toy manufacturing industry. 30 - 45 min videos would be perfect. Ryan should be a regular as well.

Love the discussion, Really enjoy hearing two fans just shooting the breeze like this.
Also would love to add the charity figure to me Action Force display but being in Canada the extra for shipping and customs just pushes it over the price point I can justify. If Snowman had them I would have already grabbed one.

Speaking of paperwork, back in the day i could never find Storm Shadow. On a whim i wrote Hasbro, they sent me a letter saying he was $5( joes were like 2.99 back then). Mom sent them a check and it came air mail. Probably should have kept that letter, Mom might have sent it with the payment.

My family would never have thought of doing that when I was a kid. The 84 Joes were the only time in the line that I can recall there being a few guys that were super hard and rare to find in the stores. Stormshadow, Mutt and Junkyard, Firefly, and to a lesser extent Blow Torch and Spirit in that order were really hard to locate. I was I. 4th grade at the time. There was this short red haired kid that was really good at sports, and toys were sort of secondary to him. His dad worked construction (may have owned the business, they were well off) and was in Albany NY all week for work (we lived just outside of Catskills about 35 miles south). That kid’s dad would get him a one of these new hard to find Joes every week. He would bring em in, show em to us, and I don’t know if he ever would pick the figures up again. He never played Joes with us at recess, at birthday parties etc out of school, never joined in when we played with Joes. I was mainly getting figures from local department stores and even a local Rite Aid drug store. The Rite Aid actually put out a decent amount of joes for a drug store with one half aisle for toys. I am pretty sure this was in the fall too. Thanks, your memories just transported me back in time to the fall of 84 for a few minutes. Magical time as a kid!

The Mattel 2017 Batman vs. Superman Batcave is a great 6 inch scale playset for $100.
    Tho they sold horribly.
    Walmart dumped them for $50.
    Or less...
