- Today we finish the 420cc Mega Moto swap. We have a few engine problems but we get those fixed and take it out for a test. This bike has tons of torque! It is a handful in the low end. What should we do to the bike next?

I do 55 with a tork kit on my 212 cc engine thinking bout putting a 450cc in a dirt bike 😅 real power 🎉
looks like you now need a 13 tooth front sprocket and do not change the rear sprocket. The current sprocket setup is topping out 58 MPH with a 13 tooth front sprocket they might be able to reach 65 to 70 MPH depending on the weight of the rider and reduce the risk of popping wheelies as well.
Drag race series with 3 classes 212-275 then 420- 460 and unlimited this would be cheap way to get people into racing and I would help race development of these engines 😀love to see a road bike long trip where people could come along and join in (wonder how many would take part )

It wasn't something silly like the pushrod not sitting in it's hole on the Cam Follower? I know Assembly lube dries up and can spin a bearing after an engine is built and just sits for years before being rotated, so I don't discount your theory, but the 1/4 inch thing makes me think it was the Pushrod out of it's hole. Also, You May know that Shawn/Sean from Bikes and Beards is now Living in Tennessee... Let's see you two Collab and put a Built 670 in a Harley frame and see if it's faster than a Harley!!!

I believe it was a 50 on the tire and 10 on the jackshaft.

Facts
That is one crazy-loud valve train. I', at the 18:45 Mark and Lonnie coming up that ramp and in the air...the bike sounds like it's gonna throw a rod the tapping is so loud. It's an awesome set up but it sounds like it needs a bit more clearancing and/or valve adjusting or something.
The bolt you've put in where the oil sensor was looked like it was touching right at the bottom of the bolt as it looked worn. That would definitely make the noise we're all hearing. I've had ½ a dozen of those little engines & only 1 has sounded that tappie & that's where the bolt I put in to fill that oil sensor hole was 2 long . . .

I have a question my son has a Coleman rb100 mini mini bike. Is there a torque converter that will bolt up to it? Without modification. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!

Throw a higher ramping variator and or lighter weights for it to ramp up a bit on rpm

What’s the best torque converter for I’m building a same build with a 420cc but a rt200 frame
I have that same valve spring compressor I bought one from harbor freight that didn’t work on small engines but the one like yours was the best 15 bucks I ever spent I was tired of having sore thumbs and asking my wife to put in the keepers I’m sure I’m not the only one

Y'all should totally put a peg design on the back that way it brings your center of balance forward on the bike to keep it from lifting up

Next upgrade take the jackshaft off and install a baker 6 speed for a Harley. I think you can get a hundred mph out of her.👍😂👍

I wouldn't waste my time and money on a tc just straight chain it its a 420

My rb200 w 420 is governed still and does 58mph. Try a 30 series driven and a 5990 belt.. I remove my gov ill be doing 70

What state you in I use a minibike for work and my engine makes a lot of crazy noises and has decreased performance exponentially
On vw's and mostly all race engines they run zero lash. That will quite the valves down id run .007 or .005 on both valves

hey Red could you do a build of a Subaru ex13? i have a hot one for my mini bike even though its a 5.0 and i wanna put a new bottom end and top in it for more comp with a metal plate welded across the top. I cant find parts though other than the carb...

I love what you do but I like things that are dependable when I go riding I go far into the woods I can’t afford a break down. All those mods never hold up you can only ride in a parking lot to be safe.
