This is the best breakdown of the one stroke that has given me the most trouble getting right. I had all but given up on a fast backstroke. Thank you, you're doing a great job. Best swim coaching on you tube by far!

Hey Chloe how are you doing? Thanks for all the great videos.
I'm a swim coach in San Diego. I'm going to use your advice to coach a bunch of kids in backstroke.
One thing about rotation is that 25° is going to be a lot of rotation for my kids. So I think this video will help a lot.

I wish I knew all these before I quit at the age of 15. I had to pay more attention to school study. Now I help my daughter and show her your technique tips. She's become best of 70 in her group. She's 6 and makes 25 mt backstroke in 20 sec. though she is in Olympic reserve school for synchronized swimming. Thank you very much for what you do Chloe and happy international women's day🌷

    Hey Chloe,
Thank you very much for making this tut video for the World and sharing it! I swear, this backstroke video is clearly the very best on the whole internet, including the ones sponsored by Speedo etc. Watching your video I have just realized that I have always swam the backstroke completely wrong over 6 years as that is how I was being taught by local official pro trainers... :( Now just this but from your video I was clearly able to spot the issues and the solutions too! So I could learn how to do this properly... unlike from all the vids from others even if they had 4K underwater cameras or so.
    Thanks!

What an awesome lady to take the time to respond to my question about your swimsuit!! I’m forever your fan (was before - but now it’s forever)! You are truly a lady with grace & amazing talent! I’m a 68 yo female, disabled vet with no muscles in my upper back. Plus recent open heart surgery to correct a congenital defect. Never thought I’d get back in the water. But now I’m in & hate to get our! Your tutorials are helping me so much with various drills & techniques to overcome my upper back paralysis!! Just love them!! If you’re ever in Phoenix, you’re welcome to be my guest at our country club.
Again, thank you so very much!!

    Hi,
I have been watching your videos on Swimming training...
It's good to see that the information or basics or content that you you are conveying in every video is more ,than how others are doing.
    Thanks for that.
    Please keep uploading more.
Small suggestion : I would have enjoyed your videos little more if you can reduce the audio noise coming up when you are talking because of multiple echo's coming up.
Nevertheless thanks for your classes :)

It is interesting you use the throwing a ball concept. Just like swinging a tennis racket, throwing a football or swinging a golf club for power. All done with the core instead of just arms. Now I get it and my power has increased with less effort.
