I was once an nri but chose to come back to India for entrance preparation and will be giving my entrance this year in 1 month! NRIs don't get entrance coaching outside of india and are incompetent to give entrances which require rigorous studies and entrance oriented coaching which is absent abroad. therefore to evaluate the smarts of prospective nri students SATs are reserved for nri students only in india. it dosent make sense despite living in india you're complaining for admissions through sat.

It provides more other than excellent academic studies like extracurricular activities and specialization in any sports in your school itself, community service, tech clubs, research work, internship, you can also become a founder of something in your school and much more which MIT and other elite school highly valued. Moreover 99 percent of undergraduate class size consists of student who complete IB diploma in last year's of study. Even testing is also optional for MIT, you can also apply without appearing in SAT. These international boards provides the same curriculum that USA student follows in high school with some minute difference. You can also take the help of Crimson education which is one of the best ivy League coach who trained you for the admission in MIT in both academics and Non-academics, even in financial aid application of MIT.
