Here's a tip on how to survive? Be fucking courteous. This place is sooo crowded most people lack the common sense and consideration to let people pass. Therefore you get these human traffic jams in sketchy spots. Also be bossy if you have to on your way down. Tell the hoards of people that are going up to stop and let you pass.
To me, this is the most useful comment on this entire thread. People can study and memorize safety tips from A-to-Z before they go on the hike. But, most mistakes will happen during fatigue ESPECIALLY while descending! The best safety tip is for people to make sure they are in good shape before attempting this hike!
Hey @BMW328i I'm not sure since we went last year. I do have a link to shuttle tickets on the park website in the description and if you follow the link you should find the answer to your question.
New subscriber. I got worried she’d trip on her jacket around the waist 😶 I just saw a vlog where the guys (teens) hiked up angels landing in snow & ice! Crazy
Thank you for subscribing :) that is a good point we will have to tuck it up better next time. I feel like we would be to scared to do it in the snow but I have watched similar videos and it is beautiful with snow on it. Have you been on this hike yet? Do you want to?
It is very sad that 13 deaths occurred! One must be careful! One dollar is very affordable for entry. Despite the coronavirus, we can see the ant image. What a ziggly way it was! One question is whether this place should be discovered by drone or explored on foot like you. By the way, you have stopped at very extreme points, please be careful.
The deaths are very tragic Berfin. Yes the path is very wiggly. Unfortunately drones are not allowed at most national parks, and thank you I will be sure to be careful :)
If you consider the amount of people per year that hike this trail, approximately 1000 per day in peak season. 13 deaths in 21 years is actually an incredibly low death percentage. It’s far less than one percent overall. I hiked it in 2018 and it was spectacular.
@@rockinroamin1958 I think they emphasize the deaths and danger so people will take it seriously. Which is a good thing ! It defiantly is intense at times.
People can study and memorize safety tips A-to-Z all they want.. But we all know most mistakes happen when people are tired/fatigued.. ESPECIALLY while descending. THE BEST safety tip for people is to ensure (at minimum) they are in good/great shape PRIOR to attempting this hike!
Hey Ridge life, I see from your videos that you also love hiking. I'm sure you guys will have a great time here, I do agree that June will probably be a busy month for zion. We got to the visitors center around 9:40 in the morning and got back to the visitors center when done at about 3pm. I think the actual trail probably took us from 11am-2pm.

I'm still not hiking there.. looks too scary for me.. and even if I were a real angel would rather look for the nearest airport to land..
Haha, well said Jimmy!
What a great video! It seems exciting, but yet it seems dangerous. I'm so happy you both were very cautious.
Thank you :)
Cardio cardio cardio! Mistakes happen when you get exhausted, especially on the way down.
Great point!

@@rockinroamin1958 Ahhh! Okay! I get it. Thank you 👋
So what happens if you fall over.. do they refund you your dollar
I think it would be to frightening for even the drones themselves.. seen a few fell to their deaths In less scary places
my guy getting them views and subs up!
I appreciate it Noah, I hope you liked the video. Would you do the hike?
@@rockinroamin1958 Forsure!
It's crazy how sweaty my palms get just watching this!
I feel like the go pro sometimes makes it look extra scary haha.
Yea.. and my heart races and I'm scared when I see the edge and looking down as if I'm actually there

On the way down looks more scary especially at certain time u guys were away from chain coming down…
The way down was definitely more scary than the way up.
Awesome informative video! We will be visiting Zion in June. Im concerned it may be too busy then. How long did it take you to complete the trail?

Honestly Angels Landing will be crowded in June. Especially near the weekends.
I was scared at first but if you're careful it's very doable. We loved it!
I'm so glad to hear that :)
Just looking at the video its scary as if i'm actually there and about to fall over
