Here’s a quick video of my Toyota Supra with GSC S2 Cams. The GSC S2 cams are a little overkill for the current set up but leave room to grow. This is a a stock bottom end, 6766 Precision Turbo, Tubular manifold, 4” down pipe and mid pipe with the Tomei 4” titanium exhaust. I upgraded to GSC beehive springs with titanium retainers. The billet GSC S2 camshafts are a popular choice for many 2JZ-GTE engines.

Got the Tomei myself, so Glad i went for it, Looks So clean compared to others and a unique sound to it.
This is on a stock ecu and piggyback. Cold starts are really rough and I might not be able to adjust enough but I still need to fiddle with it. May be time to finally go with a stand-alone ecu.
Who tunes your car? Curious on the piggy back but I believe you stated it ages ago in an old video. Idles nice
I’ve been doing all the “Tuning”. Really it’s just adjusting the fuel to account for the extra air of the setup. I leave the timing alone and really only crank the boost up if I have E85 in the tank, which seems fine for the stock timing.
Sounds killer. The gsc s2 is such a good sounding set of cams
The sound of these cams was definitely part of why I went this route

Sounds wicked man! Im upgrading soon to the tomei ti, what turbo manifold did you go with? I have gsc s1 cams with brian crower springs on my car and im on AEM infinity ecu.
I have an older Boost Logic manifold. Are you GSC cams the billet version?
@@TunerTestDrive yes the billet s1 cams, i plan on going powerhouse racing s23 manifold with their 4 inch downpipe and midpipe.
Did you look into DLC coating your buckets at all? Seems to be some unverifiable wear issues that may be associated with billet cams (compared to OEM style chilled cast), so I ended up going the coating just in case.
@@TunerTestDrive i did not, a buddy of mine that is big into evo x's told me the exact same thing just last weekend. I went with the shimless buckets, not sure if thatll help or not, but its something ill be sure to keep an eye on.
Only cause you mentioned you had a viper also at the PF meet. Do you also have the stock hood customize to appear like the top secret.
