Out of all the 11th gens I’ve seen, your wheel fitment is my favorite. Perfectly flush, especially in the rear. I know some people have been having issues getting the rear fitment to be flush. very tasteful mods on this one man, great job.
Such a great car!! The red looks phenomenal! I love all the generations of Si’s!! I have been a Honda fan from the time I was a out of high school in the early 2000’s. My first Si I bought was a 2009 Si sedan I bought new in 2009!! I traded it for the next model a 2012 Si sedan! They did a mid model change in 2014s so I traded my 2012 and bought a 2014 Si sedan!! 3 years later in 2017 I bought a new 10th gen Si sedan! I did end up trading it in 2019 and bought my first Civic Type R fk8 new in 2019 ! It was Sonic Gray Pearl! I owned that until this January of 2023 and bought a 2023 FL5 Type R in Crystal Black Pearl! I love it so much!! A I love Honda and have enjoyed each one of that I have owned! I think I am going to keep my FL5 longer than my other Si’s and FK8 because of how limited they are! I have bought my cars from my local Honda dealership and have a great relationship with them! I was fortunate to get my FL5 for msrp as well as all of the Si’s and type R I have owned!! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! I love your Si and am curious to what they feel like to drive!! They are good looking for sure!! I think if you did your high flow air intake on your Si that would be a great video! Keep up the great content and enjoy your week ahead! 🚙🚗👍🏼
This is a nice looking car. I found Honda went a little too avant garde from approximately 2016-2021. This is a nice cleaner look without all the ugly grills. Plus, manual transmission! Kudos to Honda for keeping that!
Sweet looking ride! I just picked up a 23 Aegean Blue Si. Can you send me part numbers for front red H and steering wheel red h? I want to make sure I get the right ones. I’m surprised type r wheels fit! Same bolt pattern?

One of the few things I miss about my 15 Si was the fact there was no drive modes just a fully disabled traction control. As soon as I see drive modes it just kills it for me, makes the car feel more like an appliance and the fact these new civics cannot have their traction control fully disabled also kills it for me. Love the looks, love the mileage, and love the handling but all the added safety kills it for me.
I recently bought a 2022 Civic Si and I thought it was just me but I agree with you. The traction control makes steering awkward, and it feels like I’m sharing control with the compute and sometimes fighting against the computer for control of the steering. It’s supposed to be helpful but to me it just makes the steering less steady.
@kevinc2332 thats only when on normal mode, on sport its always on, and on individual its up to you how you wanna customize your drive. On normal it can also be turned off by a simple press of a button next to the mode switcher. The only deal breaker for you might be the mark ups. But idc and still paid them cause im an idiot 😂
It turns off at a stop once properly warmed up or the ac temperature is adequate with what you set it too. Once you step on the clutch it turns back on immediately. You really dont notice it. If you leave it in gear at a light or stop it wont turn off. Only when in Neutral and your foot is on the break
Ayeee NC Native from Cab County im thinking about getting the SI bro you think it’s a good starter car for someone with less experience in manual driving?
Which one is better? That’s very subjective. Well the si will be more fun to drive with more power with the same mpg, and better handling…. The lx is a great car and is fun as well …. However when it comes to long term reliability the na/k20c2 from the Lx will be more reliable. The k20c2 is probably Honda’s most reliable engine currently.

I love my 2024 si, first-time civic owner.
The white, gorgeous in sun. Had to pay additional $400

Lost my marbles when he said “it has 3 different modes” 😱😱😱
It doesn’t thou. The normal mode doesnt count and custom is just the ability to turn off two features from sport.

Of people steal these cars. But man, it’s such a sweet ride.
Start / Stop on a manual ??? I did not realize that. Can it be turned off permanently or just temporarily?
Just temporarily. It be on again whenever you turn the car off and back on
Deal breaker for me

100% Honda really nailed the manual driving experience on this new generation.
Oh heck yeah then I’ll take a look around and some test drives and I’ll let you know how it goes ☺️💯
No, it’s forgiving but not a good beginner manual. Earlier gears have lots of torque and the jerky clutch makes the ride rough.
where’d you get your emblems?
did you need anything specifically to mount the type r rims? and would the current gen type r wheels work as well?
How did you get the stock steering wheel emblem off? Did you disconnect the battery as well?
I'm proud of you😁
Thank you 🙏🏾
Does it come with rev limiter originally from honda factory?
I saw this one on sale in ca? Or is that a popular lip kit?
Don’t the Type R wheels rub?
Did you already drop the Si on the 20s or does it sit like that with the 20s on 🙌🏿
Honda Civic SI vs Honda Civic LX Sport Manual with 2.00 Liter 4 cylinders/non-turbo....which one is better ?

What adapters are you running? How many mm?
New intake👀💨 for the next one?

How do you enable the auto rev-match? I have a new Civic Si as well
On the head display : vehicle setting - Driver assist system setup - “scroll all the way down” - Rev match system 👍👍👍

No not at all
That was loony a problem on the 18 or 19 model amd has been fixed since

Honda decided to cover the air vent with one large air vent...that's not really a vent for the most part.
Out here in jville
That display needs to be able to slide out and tuck away under the dash.
That's so damn annoying to have that thing sitting up there forever. lol

Nice review, nice car…however those seats ain’t red. They’re some kind of magenta colour which clashes with the real red.
Its a econo car thats fun to drive, but its not a sports car or a fast car
I shall make it a fast car 👍
