@@25times I've never chopped one myself but I would probably break out the sprue goo to fill some of the gaps. To make sprue goo put some sprue chips in an air tight jar with a little liquid cement overnight. You want it about the consistency of taffy or chewed gum and not very sticky, just a little tacky. You can push it into cracks and voids and mold it to the contour. use a little liquid cement as needed to ensure a good bond. I used this method to replace a chunk of a 40 ford fender that went flying into the void when I was cutting the front end off to make the flip nose. If you are going to try this it is best to practice on a scrap body first.
