I'm too big for a place this small. I am a woman, but I am very tall with long limbs. Even in my regular-sized house, I still bump into things all the time.
I love your home and so happy for you! Your storage and designs are beautiful. Love your kitchen but I would need larger fridge🌻and your bathroom is Great .
King Eric *Colorado has a number of cities/towns that are tiny home friendly. I was actually thinking of Loveland, CO.* (not the ski resort; Loveland is about 30min north of Denver and south of Ft Collins) when she was listing off her wants/requirements for a place to build her home before she mentioned Durango. But I wasn’t surprised a Texan picked Durango to move to (locals will know what I’m talking about haha.)
Your Life Is A Great Story How right you are about the Texans, from Salida to Durango, and especially around Pagosa, you are an outsider unless you’ve got a star on your license plates.
Very cute! Oddly enough, the thing I liked most was the emergency window in the loft. I don't think I've seen another tiny house yet where that's a feature, but it's a really good idea.
Girl! I look at tiny homes all the time and yours is honestly the most beautiful, most perfect I've ever seen! Love the all white and how you keep it clutter free. Rock on!
Hi! I'm sitting in Vienna watching this ... and hearing you lived here for a year. I have been toying with the idea of a tiny house for years and even have the possibility to adapt an existing space with similar dimensions to yours. Love your floor plan - might just be the inspiration I've needed 💜
I love the little wood stove. I have a shed cabin. It’s 512 square feet. It works for my husband and I. But we actually are planning something different for us. We want to keep the shed cabin for guest. We have 12 acres by a river , not right on it but about a mile inland, living tiny affords much more living. When you are in the big suburban home it eats away at savings. Tiny is a wonderful way to live. No matter your age. I am older and have a disability and my bedroom in my tiny home is own the first floor. Along with my bathroom with a large soaking tube. Your tiny can be made to fit you. I ❤️tiny living! Leslye
I like your little house and your dogs are cute ive been trying to talk my wife into living tiny so we could own our own house and not have as many bills stay safe out there
Oh my I'd live in this in a minute! For me, the only thing I'd change is making sure the custom couch could turn into a bed to sleep on the first floor. I'd use the loft for guest sleeping and storage:)
You're the 1st one who thought of an emergency exit in a tiny home. I'm glad you got want you wanted with having to give up what you love. Beautiful home
It’s not what you can live with as much as what you can live without. This tiny home is light & bright and serves all her needs. Low maintenance & low utilities too.
To be honest, this is enough for me and this is all I need to live. I mean, this kind of house is exactly only what we need. No more, no less. I hope to own a tiny house like this one. I love the layout and the minimalist design. Thanks!
This is perfect! You thought of everything from appropriate height on the stove, to the best use of space and realistic living...with stuff. We have stuff and that's ok. Love it
Yes, I love, love it. Once you have lived in Europe, you will find Tiny spaces are more than enough. It forces you to live modestly, mindfully and, happily. I think your set up is very well laid out and, if I were younger, this would be my choice. You are walking, too which is a plus. Have a happy, independent life, with your dogs and, thanks for sharing your home❤❤
Absolutely beautiful !! I grew up in a 18 room house but spent most of my time in my small bedroom. I have always loved the cozy feel of a small space and is still my preference.
It could obviously be done for less. Not sure where 50k is. I mean, I could have a garage built for 30k. Even plus insulation and such, that seems high.
I live in a 300 and something sq ft apartment, as part of my job. I’m trying to learn how to maximize the space. I’m still learning. I love this tiny home and I love the desk/table. I need 1!
I am a mother of 3 who also teaches abroad. I love what you have done with your micro tiny! I would love to build a tiny home for when we are stateside as we don't really need something big and permanent. Seeing your home has given me a few ideas for how I could build 3 micro tiny's for my babies to have their own spaces, and set them around one 200-300sqft tiny for us all to have some shared space as well. Thank you so much for sharing!
Absolutely beautiful!! You did an amazing job with such a small space. Yet you were able to include the necessities of life along with your much beloved personal items.
Love the house... Really sweet.... I am married tho and we would need a bigger place. Like some others mentioned, a laundry would be a must... Also I like in Hawai'i so would.plan to have a deck for some outdoor living space!!
Very well designed. So neat and clean looking too. Oh I wish I could go back to Vienna ...loved the food and the music and the people there. I was in Vienna in 1971 so long ago.
I agree. Two sinks in 100 sf is ridiculous. Smart choice. The loft, ladder situation, not ideal though. Cute build and these builds are quite personal to one's needs. You did a nice job.
It's perfect! My tiny rolling home is around 100 square feet but without the height of this one to have a loft bed upstairs. It's so easy to live tiny but people are always react with disbelief when I tell them I live in here full time! It's so freeing letting go of material attachments but, as she showed us in this video, you can still have room for you special treasures and plenty of clothes! Great designed house, great video. I loved it! 😍
Absolutely awesome that it's only 103 sq ft. Would you share the cost please ? Like how you hid the toaster oven etc. Clean lines. Sweet comfy space & room for everything necessary.
I think this is charming for a healthy (younger?) inhabitant. It would be fine as a camper for short term stays. I could live here long term only if I had some outside space such as a covered deck. I need a tub (for pain management), so I would need a small soaking tub. A ground floor bed would be better for me, too, in the long term. Maybe a different layout would make a no loft with a daybed possible.
Love this micro home tour! I was consulting with a builder and with all the legalities around tiny homes it has to be under 104²ft The builder said the average small bedroom is over 104²ft so I was concerned but this looks like a rly good use of space
Lovely home and beautiful setting! Cute how the dogs follow you around! 5:28 - the small toaster oven is just like mine. I am surprised the builders allowed this hot oven inside a small wood cabinet. This is a fire waiting to happen. Those ovens have no insulation, and get very very hot. Not enough airspace in that cabinet to disperse the heat. At best, you will have charred interior cabinet ceilings where it is located. I would move that out into the open. Great video, concise with great photography and the bare facts. Thanks for the tour!
I'm thinking the toaster oven is in there as a way of hiding it. I'm thinking that she removes it from that hiding place and uses it on the countertop. After it cools she puts it back in the storage place. She mentioned not liking to see appliances on the countertops. But common sense tells me this toaster oven is used on top of the counter.
@@peacefulwife5199 Yes, that is safest. Imagine if a fire started inside the cabinet in the back and crept up inside the walls before anyone noticed. It would be hard to put it out if its behind the wooden wall panels and in the ribs of the van. Plus the smoke smell would linger forever. Fires happen so commonly.
Lovely home. Only concern is as u get older or get ill, u may not be able to climb stairs. A couch that makes out into bed would be great idea. Just saw "Elevate Sofa Sleeper Couch" made by Leewanto brand. In one swift movement without any effort , u get comfy bunk bed to sleep two more people. Forgot to mention 4 cities u had as options & which town did u choose?
This is Very cute! I find the whole process deciding size is a heady trip! Ppl considering one should stay in some Tiny Rentals to feel the space & then custom your own, or buy used & tweak it to your needs🤩 Its exciting, allot of vacillating between whether it's perfect size, to No it's too Tiny, then back & forth 😁 This was Very Courageous Building this from afar! God Bless & Ty👍
I've never seen one so small that's lived in. Very nice design. My only complaint is the missing bathroom sink. I'm not keen on the idea of brushing teeth in the kitchen or washing hands after no.2 in the same sink used for dishes and preparing food. I draw the line there. Everything else? Lovely!
This tiny house on wheels is a great example of a micro tiny home. Do you think you would go with something this small for your tiny home?
I'm too big for a place this small. I am a woman, but I am very tall with long limbs. Even in my regular-sized house, I still bump into things all the time.
I'm planning on smaller and less than 1/3 price. 50k is ridiculous.
Absolutely!
No this is to small for me. Laundry is a must.
If I could have a tiny this would suit me down to the ground, but with a hubby and adult daughter not really suitable for three.
A 103 s.f. house, filmed in less than 10 minutes, with a bunch of ideas packed into them. Brief and concise all the way around.
I love your home and so happy for you! Your storage and designs are beautiful. Love your kitchen but I would need larger fridge🌻and your bathroom is Great .
Your home is very pretty! Thank you for sharing!!
To bad States do everything to disallow tiny home communities. More affordable housing helps everyone, including wildlife.
King Eric *Colorado has a number of cities/towns that are tiny home friendly. Wildlife Don't Wanna Live. in A Tiny Little House. Just Thought you know 🏇
Robinson Velez I’m doubtful the loft in this particular tiny house could handle much wildlife. The owner better not get too crazy up in there!
Very cute! Oddly enough, the thing I liked most was the emergency window in the loft. I don't think I've seen another tiny house yet where that's a feature, but it's a really good idea.
Hands down, this is one of the cutest and most nicely appointed tiny home’s I’ve every seen! I love all your beautiful personal touches!! 💕🐕
Agree. I love the bathroom. Traditional toilet. I love it.
You certainly made this work for you. It really seems spacious and with no clutter. Beautiful job
Girl! I look at tiny homes all the time and yours is honestly the most beautiful, most perfect I've ever seen! Love the all white and how you keep it clutter free. Rock on!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that front porch and access for the dogs! Great function and beautiful too.
It's lovely and minimalistic but I would've preferred a more comfy couch that I can snuggle into and read a book.
I think if the arm bins had cushions attached to the lids, and a couple squishy throw pillows were added, it would be comfy and cozy.
Well you would have to give up part of the kitchen. 4 kitchen and 4 living room. Surely the bathroom doesn't take up 12 ft.
Yes, throw pillows would make it better. I would need a pull-out couch.
snuggle up in the bed. watch tv downstairs
I love the details. The tiny wood stove for ambience, the cute tiny desk, so perfect for the space. And the exterior porch and location-beautiful.
Perfect. I’d only want a bigger couch. I like to lounge and lie down when watching tv. And I’m lazy. But this has an excellent layout
Recliner. That's what i'm thinking. Might be too heavy. I know weight is important to keep in mind when building your Tiny.
I agree. The love seat was too small.
A woman after my own heart-- two furbabies 🐶🐶Love her tiny home, she did such a beautiful job💖
Hi! I'm sitting in Vienna watching this ... and hearing you lived here for a year. I have been toying with the idea of a tiny house for years and even have the possibility to adapt an existing space with similar dimensions to yours. Love your floor plan - might just be the inspiration I've needed 💜
I love this house! It seems very conventional and simple, it has everything she needs, not excessive not squished.
I love the little wood stove. I have a shed cabin. It’s 512 square feet. It works for my husband and I. But we actually are planning something different for us. We want to keep the shed cabin for guest. We have 12 acres by a river , not right on it but about a mile inland, living tiny affords much more living. So at 512 SQ feet, at this price your cost would be over 500,000.00!
Leslye, would love to see your tiny home. I'm older and would need a bed on first floor
What a positive person Shanna is.
OMG!! JUST SAW THIS HOUSE !! LOVE IT!! TINY HOUSE BUILDERS NEED TO TAKE NOTES!!!
Beautiful home ! Can't believe how it fits everything you need, and you have lots of storage. INCREDIBLE
Beautiful and cozy. The dogs are so cute.
I like your little house and your dogs are cute ive been trying to talk my wife into living tiny so we could own our own house and not have as many bills stay safe out there
I m trying to talk my husband into it 😀
tishu k good luck to both of you!
Oh my I'd live in this in a minute! For me, the only thing I'd change is making sure the custom couch could turn into a bed to sleep on the first floor. I'd use the loft for guest sleeping and storage:)
My concern also. Climbing a ladder at 2 in the morning up/down leaves a possibility of falling.
Wow for such a micro space she packed in so much and it looks really inviting. Great designer.
OMG!! FINALLY, ONE ID LIVE IN! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! HOW PERFECT!
You're the 1st one who thought of an emergency exit in a tiny home. I'm glad you got want you wanted with having to give up what you love. Beautiful home
If you watch other videos of Tiny Houses, It's a requirement to have an escape window in the loft in case of fires or other emergency.
I really like how cozy this house is. It’s pretty much the perfect size but I’d maybe want a house just a teeny bit more space?
Add 4 feet to the living room and it'd be perfect
Thank you. Your presentation was informative without going too long. Excellent. Love your place.
This is the best actual tiny house I've EVER seen. Very well-designed, tons of space...this lady's done very well!
It’s not what you can live with as much as what you can live without. This tiny home is light & bright and serves all her needs. Low maintenance & low utilities too.

Great basic layout, great use of space. Seems fairly open feeling considering the size.
Absolutely beautiful !!
I grew up in a 18 room house but spent most of my time in my small bedroom. I have always loved the cozy feel of a small space and is still my preference.
An 18 room house, not a 18
Truly a beautiful build and home. Wonderful to get to see it. Wishing it was more affordable for more people. Inspiring to see. Thank you.
It could obviously be done for less. Not sure where 50k is. I mean, I could have a garage built for 30k. Even plus insulation and such, that seems high.
Beautiful home. Well organized and 2 cute 4 legged babies. Home is where my dogs are. Lol.
This is cozy, not lacking anything..I like!
For some reason I feel like this could have been achieved for less than 50k. But I love it. Tiny yet a great use of space.
Same. I've seen way bigger tiny homes cost around this much or a little more.
I’ve seen bigger ones that r just as nice for less. 50k?
Depends on the area they're built in definitely on the steeper price for tiny homes but probably only 2 years rent in a city
Initially found you on Instagram and saw your post on this video. I just had to check it out ! I can't wait to live Tiny one day
Really cozy and organized.
Lovely home! What are the 4 towns that you considered to live in your new tiny home? Thanks!
I considered Burlington, VT: Fairfield, IA, Whitefish or Missoula, MT area and Durango, CO. The latter obviously won :)
Your tiny house is amazing and so cute! 😊💕
Beautiful house and I adore the dogs. It’s one of the best houses I have seen .
I like the detail of the little front porch. It's well thought out and adorable!
I so love this home. Me and my fur babies would be soo happy living there
What. Cozy beautiful tiny home and the dogs are adorable thanks for sharing god bless stay safe
I love this setup. Great job. I can't believe it was designed and built remotely! That is awesome. A lot of great thought went into this. LoVE it.
Love your beautiful little house. You look so 😊thank you tiny home tours for sharing this home with us, she is a lovely lady👍
I live in a 300 and something sq ft apartment, as part of my job. I’m trying to learn how to maximize the space. I’m still learning. I love this tiny home and I love the desk/table. I need 1!
so everyone could have a house 🌻🙌🌿

Lovely home. I also collect magnets where I travel.
I'm about to buy a tiny house shell that's 104 square feet and looking up ideas! I'm excited and it's going to be a good one!
It's small like a caravan. Beautiful. I love your fire as well
What a beautiful little home. Cute dogs too!

Very well designed. So neat and clean looking too. Oh I wish I could go back to Vienna ...loved the food and the music and the people there. I was in Vienna in 1971 so long ago.
Oh I love Durango, go snowboarding there every year. It’s such an amazing little town!
The front porch is the best feature, IMHO. Definitely a must-have in my book.
Well designed and planned.... Love it!
This is my favorite layout so far!
I agree. Two sinks in 100 sf is ridiculous. Smart choice. The loft, ladder situation, not ideal though. Cute build and these builds are quite personal to one's needs. You did a nice job.

I saw a similar tiny home like this one. Still love it.
I love it but I'm older and will get a gooseneck for a standing bedroom and 10ft wide. Love Durango it's a gem.
My goodness... ur tiny home is so gorgeous, neat and warm👌👌👌
Love this layout.
Her home is absolutely beautiful!!

I love this house and the fact that she’s from Texas thanks for sharing I want a tiny house so bad
Just the video that I was looking for, I may even copy your exact plan to the tee, you're a fabulous sales girl. thanks.
A v cute clean tiny home. God bless u with good health happiness n loooooooooong life
It’s really cute. I know you must love it.
Really cute house, well done. But those dogs stole the show adorable.
