Great video, so real and honest!!
    You are so encouraging!
If you want to cry, you should cry. You have every right to!
In 2008 I was also dx with MS in my second year of Uni, I stayed for another year and a half. But I let it get the better of me and dropped out in 2010 and swapped to online uni, just couldn’t do it anymore. I had those same thoughts in my head 24/7, and just lost the determination and will to push through!
Love your videos, spreading awareness, and encouragement!!

Wow! Congratulations! That is such an accomplishment! It is so good you didn’t give up and continued to work for your goals! I’ve been feeling similarly to how you mentioned with feeling defeated for taking extra time. I’m not sure what type of chronic illness I have yet (getting any kind of partial diagnosis or the right tests is hard!), and I’ve wanted to give up at times. Though it has been difficult, I graduate with an Educational Assistant diploma next week!

I’m 42 and woke up one morning and bam right side was numb. Oh well I said I have to work. About two weeks later bam woke up left side was numb and so off balance I couldn’t walk well or drive. So I was like damn it I better go to the dr. Lol it’s also affect my confidence and and it’s only been like since April that all this happened to me. I’ve already had people tell me I’m just lazy. Saying I’m faking symptoms. Now I’m just waiting on my first dose of medication and maybe help get rid of lesions and I’m hoping I get back to normal. Thank you for this vid. What your doing is important!! Don’t ever give it. It’s not worth giving up. Congratulations on your accomplishments!!

How do you feel today knowing? I was diagnosed in 2010 ten years late. I went to hospital 10 years prior and was told I was just a teen needing attention. Now I’m here 12 years with this horrible condition ahhhh

I hate that they think young people are just goddamn stupid because most of us aren’t! I feel amazing as I’m taking time doing the things I love. Being in school took so much on my mental health and I felt like I owed it to me to do what I love. Having MS for me was never viewed as a death sentence. I was just so grateful for even being able to live because Not everyone can say that. So the challenges MS was going to throw my way as something I was ready for because I was no longer going to give in to this crippling disease.
I hope you’re doing well btw!

As ppl age everyone loses some ability and confidence which can be debilitating and sometimes they fall into a dark place. However even though MS seems like a curse, you're actually making yourself stronger. Most people go through life not even coming close to what you've accomplished. Now, you can say "Phish, I've earned my degree with MS, what's your excuse?" Congrats on milestone well deserved.
