Pauline would make perfect sense considering Ninji is the only newcomer shown. Even if they bring Diddy Kong, Hammer Bro, Pom Pom and Dry Bones who were in super mario party but not shown in the trailer they are not exactly newcomers. So Pauline would be perfect as another newcomer along with Ninji. Not to mention she has became established character in mario series who is now in mario kart and also in recent mario sports games. Mario Party is the only major mario spinoff shes still missing at.

Pauline, Diddy, and Dry Bones would be my picks alongside Ninji. With those three characters included, I’d be 100% satisfied with calling this my favourite Mario Party. Sometimes boards can be not very good, but with having the ability to play as two of my absolute favourite characters in the series, in Pauline and Diddy Kong, I know for a fact I’ll love the game.

Yeah same here, cause Toad hasn't been playable in Mario Party games since Mario Party Star Rush, but in quite a few installments of the series, he, and sometimes Toadette, are the hosts. When I saw the Nintendo Direct, I was really excited that Toad is going to be playable.
I think we get Chargin Chuck, Ninji, Hammer Bro and Dry Bones are the 4 unlockables since they werent at the start shown with the rest and for DLC, Diddy Pauline, Nabbit and Pom Pom would be nice
I think that if Super Mario Party Jamboree added guest characters, it would be Link, Kirby, and maybe Geno. Side note: Would be cool if Paper Mario or any Mario RPG character showed up.

Wdym a third time, it was expected that she wouldn’t come in Super Mario Party since that game released only a year after Super Mario Odyssey which means that the game was already in production before Super Mario Odyssey released which makes ur argument invalid and it was already expected that Pauline wouldn’t be in Mario Party Sup stars since we literally got only half of the characters we got in Super Mario Party
Ninji’s the only newcomer and while it HAS happened before where we had only one newcomer (MP6, Island Tour, Star Rush) I feel like ND would take advantage and add more newcomers I mean Super Mario Party had several newcomers so why not its successor? Pauline is like the most highest choice, I know Nintendo would push for including her to ND cube!
Definitely Pauline and Dry bones but I unironically want Boom Boom to join the cast alongside Pom Pom, mostly cause I think he’s a really classic Mario enemy
The only thing weird about this roster, is that the hero to villain ratio isn’t equal like it was in Super. Although, that’s partially due to them counting Wario, Waluigi, and Birdo as heroes
i just feel like having goomba as a playable character feels like such a weird and generic choice, at least with koopa you can pretend like it's a distinct character different from the species but it's just weird seeing goomba it's literally the first enemy you ever encounter in the entire mario series and it doesn't even have limbs
I feel that Pauline should get in after her reintroduction in all Mario sports titles, Mario movie, and 8 deluxe. Along with that, I think they may be hiding a secret 8th board since 7 is an awkward number. Maybe it may be Eternal Star from MP1 but that is my guess.

I see Hammer Bro., Diddy Kong, and Pauline being added. I'll be very sad if they omit Hammer Bro. because he's one of my favorite Mario enemies. Pauline would fit very well in this game though.

I definitely think there will be more characters we either haven’t seen yet or are unlockable. Pauline is top of my wishlist but I’m not sure if she will appear. In total agreement with your other selections I think diddy Kong and dry bones have too return and I don’t know why but Wendy just flashed into my mind I could see her in a Mario party as well😊
Thats exactly who I would think would come back. As long as MY MAN DRY BONES comes back, I'm happy. Honestly Those are the 4 I can see but who I want as my 4 picks would be Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, Hammer Bro and (WILD CHOSE) Bob-omb seeing we have Goomba, anything's possible. I mean Bob-ombs my second favorite character so of course I would love to see him. But it would just be cool since we NEVER get to play as the bomb boi. And it's clear that even if bob omb is more of an item or prop in minigames it doesn't really matter with again characters like goomba in the rooster. Its also a nice contrasting color with a very dark dark blue. Im like 100% sure that Bob-omb aint making it but hey, idk lol Edit: SHOOT I also forgot to say but would LOVE to see my man toadsworth somewhere as well
Not many people are talking about this, but Stella, E. Gadd, Dixie, Tiny, Funky, King K Rool, Piantas, Lubba, Cappy, Tiara, Nabbit and Florian would be nice additions especially since they're underrepresented in the Mario series. (Even though Nabbit is playable in Wonder)
Agreed about the Dixie part. She was as recurring and important/relevant as Diddy back in her debut, then for some reason they later went only with him for all later games. The saddest part being her not making it to Super Smash Bros and not being playable in Mario Sports Mix (which was a sequel to Hoops 3-on 3, where she was playable)
Cappy would be great to see. Aside from Yoshi, Koopa Troopa, and Dry Bones (yes, I have a bias towards shelled characters), Cappy has always been one of my favorites. I’m worried that he’d be lost to time, though, like the Punis and the Piantas

I'm generally just curious if they're more characters that we're not seeing; hopefully they are hidden and unlockable I'd love to see Hammer Bro, Dry Bones and Diddy Kong return, and maybe even Pauline would be a nice new addition to the list too! Personally waiting for my boy Metal Mario to rival Mario in another game other than Mario Kart as well. Can't wait to see what this game has to offer!
I do agree with your roster. I do think Dry Bones will return also he’s one of my favorites. Diddy Kong is way too popular to be left out. Thanks to Super Mario Odyssey making Pauline relevant again, she’s now being included in basically every spinoff.
My boy Blooper always being forgotten :( Debuted in 8 only to never return again, even his partner hammer bro returned. I don't know why the fans forget him nowadays, in the Wii and early wii u days he was a pretty popular playable character from that game (I'm talking abou the people in the comments, not you Swiftjar)
I just need Diddy and Pauline to fill out the 'good guy' side and would appreciate Nabbit joining the 'baddies' along with Ninji. I think 24 is a fine character cap. But we'll see.

My top 3 most wanted: Pauline ❤ Diddy Kong ❤ Dixie Kong ❤ I think it’s the perfect opportunity to introduce Pauline to Mario Party. I believe It’s the only spin off series she’s missing from. Diddy Kong is a classic so I think he’s really likely. Dixie Kong doesn’t seem likely to me but I would love to see her in more games.
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing, I'm hoping that Pauline, Diddy, & Dry Bones would appear in this game as unlockables. I'm hoping for one of the returning boards from Mario Party 3 like Chilly Waters would be interesting, tying up with the original Mario Party's number of boards.
It would be insane if they brought back all 26 characters from the entire franchise, by saying that, they should bring back all Diddy kong dry bones hammer bro and Pom Pom. Add Pauline as well bc y not. I’m actually hoping Nintendo pulls that off. But as always, I’m keeping my expectations low.
You know who’d be a really interesting choice? Foreman Spike because of the Mario movie. Look if they can bring Pauline back as a mainstay they can do the same with Spike!
Well while Foreman Spike was in the mario movie he didnt really appear in any of the major mario games recently. Pauline appeared in mario odyssey which popularized her and thats when she started to appear in the spin offs as well.

I messed up badly in my previous comment 🤦🤦🤦, there are already 12 characters in the Mario side. These are the only likely characters imo (I tried to order them from most to least likely): 1. Dry Bones 2. Diddy Kong 3. Pom Pom 4. Hammer Bro 5. Pauline
im thinking dry bones, Pauline, hammer bro, boom boom, and possibly chagrin chuck and my gut tells me there may be an unlockable board maybe from Mario party 3, and i have a feeling some will be retro minigames that were not included in superstars i want Ridiculous Relay that music screams happnies, childhood.
This might be copium, but I really doubt the scene they showed with the 20 characters is actually the full list of characters that are unlocked from the start, just because there was an equal amount of good characters and bad characters in Super Mario Party. My assumption is that every character from Super is coming back, any of the returning characters from Super that are unrevealed are probably still unlockables (except for Hammer Bro, i think they just forgot to leave him in the trailer for some reason). Then for unrevealed characters outside of that, Pauline definitely seems like the most likely slot for that last good character (i did this with the assumption there would be 30 characters total, 15 on each side), making Diddy, Ninji, and Pauline the good unlockables. The baddies were a little trickier to figure out, mainly because it would mostly be regular mario enemies, but i think the roster that would probably make the most since would be Piranha Plant, Blooper, and Lakitu as unlocked from the start (Plant and Blooper make the most sense to me to appear out of the normal enemies, and Lakitu has gotten a lot of spin off appearances, mainly in Mario Kart). Then for the unlockables, Dry Bones and PomPom would take up 2 of the 3 unlockable slots, and maybe the third could be the Koopalings? It would work like the different colored toads and shy guys would probably, where they all take up one slot. Alternatively, Dry Bones is a normal character and Lakitu becomes an unlockable, and Pom Pom gets cut from this game and maybe Magikoopa can become playable (Toad and Toadette also seem to be helping run the party so what's stopping Magikoopa?)
This would make the full roster: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Birdo, Rosalina, DK, Toad, Toadette, and Diddy, Ninji, and Pauline as unlockables for the good side, and: Bowser, Goomba, Shy Guy, Koopa, Monty Mole, Bowser Jr., Boo, Hammer Bro, Spike, Blooper, Piranha Plant, Lakitu/Dry Bones, and Dry Bones/Lakitu, Pom Pom/Magikoopa, and the Koopalings as the unlockables for the evil side.
I dont think Ninji is going to be in the good side since Ninji is most likely going to the bad side since the most recent Super Mario Bros title still listed him as a enemy than a NPC.
As in DLC? I ain’t banking on any DLC for this.. If previous Mario Parties are to go by anyway .. 😢 (But at least we get a new one every couple years!)
0:06 This is exactly what I wanted after playing superstars and super mario party! While superstars is overall better game than super mario party but content is still somewhat lacking and there are few things that super still did better that I missed in superstars. Super mario party had twice as many playable characters, more side modes and motion minigames which all werent in superstars but the boards sucked,they were too small and boring not to mention only 4 boards is unacceptable, the board movement was painfully slow, items sucked and getting coins was too easy not to mention stars and items were too cheap so everyone always had coins for everything even if they failed at all minigames. And you were forced to use single joycons. Superstars fixed the issue with boards as the boards were back to traditional style that were bigger,more fun with faster movement,better items,stars cost back to 20, no forced joycons but only 10 characters, no additinal side modes and while 5 boards is better than 4 its still on the lower side and should have been at least 6. Jamboree seems like the best of both worlds while getting rid of the bad stuff. Plenty of playable characters like in super, motion minigames that arent forced so you can still use regular controllers but you still have option to play them so they arent completely absent like in superstars but boards size and gameplay style is more like in superstars rather than super and 7 boards including 2 classic boards so basically zero complains about not having enough boards and there are other side modes. In short character roster and side modes were better in super but boardplay and the fact that you werent forced to use joycons was better in superstars and Jamboree has both of the better stuff from both games!
Completely agree with this all!!!! Jamboree is the best of both worlds. Bigger, Better Boards.. Whilst still bringing back timeless classics. Both joy con and non motion minigames. I think it’s great. It’s going to be good. I was sceptical at first with the super branding but well done NDCube.
Another stage from Mario Party 3 would be good. Round even 8. Then a "Superstars 2" for the switch successor can focus more on the GameCube boards and Koopas Tycoon Town

Pauline got a heart of gold, Wario need to "work" for x) **** 🟣Waluigi+ 🔵Rosaline ( Make tru she pity the poor doofus, help him self reflect and at least get rid of his self pity. She sees objectively on things and understand. Mr Wa got to keep his scoundril charm and be a good actually caring chad to at least Rosalina😉
Forgetting Nabbit is something, sure he's not a really popular character for spinoffs, but he's a main game playable, he could be another new character. Also why cut it at 24?, 25, 28 or 30 sound better. Mario Kart 8D has 48 charcters after all. Some easy inclutions are the koopalings
To be honest, I think the roster might be up to 25-30 characters. And my picks would be: Diddy Kong Dry Bones Pauline Hammer Bro Pom Pom Boom Boom Larry Ludwig Wendy You can agree or disagree if you want
I think the koopalings are very unlikely, then you would have to add all 7 at once, which would make the roster approach 30 easily and disrupt the mario/bowser team balance.
Interesting is that Team Mario consist of 12 characters while Team Bowser only has 9 if i would Count Ninji on to Team Bowser. My guess is that we would have 4 unlockable characters left with Team Mario slightly outedge Team Bowser 13 to 11 My predictions are. Diddy Kong (Team Mario) Dry Bones (Team Bowser) Boom Boom (Team Bowser) Pom Pom (Team Bowser*) * if she doesnt make it then i go with Lakitu
I feel like just due to the scope of this game and the twenty player mode, having just five characters to chose from as the last person in the lobby still feels like slim pickins, I also feel like the protagonists and bowsers team will be equally balanced, so I could see there being 30 characters just due to the way the game is advertised. But honestly I’ll be happy with the 21 we have, I love big rosters and 21 is a great size especially for Maria party

Came from Nin10ndo’s video, and I think guest characters would be a fun addition. Of course, it is unlikely addition, but I can think of two characters that would be great for the Mario Party series: Villager and Kirby. Seriously, please give my pink puff a chance at becoming the Super Star (the reason why I think Villager is because of Amiibo Festival, a Mario Party spinoff for Animal crossing, and the reason why I think Kirby is because he comes from planet pop star, so seeing him as the super *star* would make total sense.)
It wouldn’t be a complete wild card to have an uneven number because the last slot would be a random character button. Also Nintendo please bring the Miis back to life! Start including them in spin-off games always and release a Super Nintendo Switch Sports with the Super Nintendo Switch console, have the game be absolutely free pre-installed and make Super Nintendo Switch Sports Resort be a paid DLC on the more expensive side like $45 because it adds Wuhu Island! Then the physical edition of the game would always be with Resort. I know this is entirely off topic but I think doing a tie in game like this or something would really bring the Miis back to life, yknow have a game where people want to buy a Switch 2 because they could play this massive multiplayer game with their friends or people who own a Switch 2 feel extra inclined to pay $45 or even $60 for a DLC because they know it more than doubles the content of the game and they already know they love the game!
I feel like majority of characters should be unlockable opposed to immediately playable. Like in Superstars I think it’s dumb that the only progression is you can flex a higher level on your ID Badge and you can buy stickers! I had this idea for Super Stars in Superstars game! So after you play a game on a board as long as the game was 15 turns or more and one of the physical players(not the AI!)won, then you get a Super Star which is an outside of each game currency! And if you’ve never won on the board then you get two super stars so it’s bonus incentive to play new boards! But this would be a good progression system because in Superstars they could’ve made it so maybe 6 characters are unlocked of the 10(Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, DK) and then each other character is one super star(Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina, Birdo)and then they could easily add 2 new characters to round out the roster a little better with both that cost a super star(Diddy Kong and Pauline, this would let them group every two characters together in some way so it would be organized better too!). And then also make the boards cost super stars! So a one star board costs one super star, a two star board costs two super stars, e.t.c. Maybe they give three super stars to start so you can actually decide which map you want and if you choose a cheaper one maybe get two or even another character! This would also allow for new boards to be added too such as the two coming to Jamboree would’ve perfectly slotted in as One Star(Mario Castle)and Two Star(Western Land)! This progression system is super simple to comprehend and lets people truly feel like their personal save file has some value to it! Maybe there would be some other few exclusions for getting super stars too like idk but something in Mt. Mini-Games so you aren’t forced to the board game for progression, if the leveling up system is out of 100 levels maybe every 10th level gives a super star which also means Mt. Mini-Games contributes, and lastly what I think would be cool is if during a Mario Party Game when you are in the home stretch there is a 20% chance that they announce a Super Star has been added to one specific shop! This is interesting as you have to make it to that one shop in the last five turns and it’ll cost 100 coins so you pretty much have to be willing to throw the entire game so that everyone can have more fun with new characters and boards! Also the boat to Mt. Mini-Games would cost One Super Star as well! But this is a perfect way to make the player feel rewarded, start off with 6 of 12 characters and no boards! In this game I feel like you should start off with only like 8 of the maybe 24 total characters but they will probably start you off with 20. Since this is already a long Yap I want to leave two more remarks: #1 is that there have been people saying to make Mario Party like Jack box games where plenty of people can join in on their phone and come together and maybe these can be fast games or games that can last across days to complete and still have the classic mode but maybe this is in place of the 20 player mode! My second remark is that I just cannot wait until Mario Party becomes massive in its character roster because I feel like eventually Mario Kart and Party will go hand and hand with almost always the exact same rosters and that would make me happy cuz then it would be justified to have more than two Kongs as if they added Funky then the selection would be too bloated with kongs right now but then also we could get character skins too like black Yoshi and Shyguy, metal and Tanooki mario, or even obscure like a mechanic(DKC3) outfit for Funky!
I think Nintendo will once again keep the Heroes vs. Villains ratio the same like in Super. The initial cutscene is more than likely missing unlockables as Ninji is nowhere to be seen except during actual gameplay. If they add Pauline and Diddy, then the Villain team needs to be evened out as well as that would make it 14 Heroes vs. 9 Villains. My prediction is, if they add Pauline and Diddy, they will also add Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Boom Boom, Pom Pom and either Chargin’ Chuck or Blooper for an even 28.
I really want funky Kong and petey as why the hell not, i mean if they can add ninji, why not those, this could turn out like mario golf and putting in dlc later if we can't unlock

i just feel like having goomba as a playable character feels like such a weird and generic choice, at least with koopa you can pretend like it's a distinct character different from the species but it's just weird seeing goomba it's literally the first enemy you ever encounter in the entire mario series and it doesn't even have limbs
I feel that Pauline should get in after her reintroduction in all Mario sports titles, Mario movie, and 8 deluxe. Along with that, I think they may be hiding a secret 8th board since 7 is an awkward number. Maybe it may be Eternal Star from MP1 but that is my guess.

Not many people are talking about this, but Stella, E. Gadd, Dixie, Tiny, Funky, King K Rool, Piantas, Lubba, Cappy, Tiara, Nabbit and Florian would be nice additions especially since they're underrepresented in the Mario series. (Even though Nabbit is playable in Wonder)
Agreed about the Dixie part. She was as recurring and important/relevant as Diddy back in her debut, then for some reason they later went only with him for all later games. The saddest part being her not making it to Super Smash Bros and not being playable in Mario Sports Mix (which was a sequel to Hoops 3-on 3, where she was playable)
Cappy would be great to see. Aside from Yoshi, Koopa Troopa, and Dry Bones (yes, I have a bias towards shelled characters), Cappy has always been one of my favorites. I’m worried that he’d be lost to time, though, like the Punis and the Piantas

I dont see the open cinematic intro's roster to be the final version since they are most likely going to the Super Mario Party's character select screen style in which we WILL have a even number of starting roster and unlockable roster for both sides of Mario and Bowsers group since WHY would they visibly show Ninji IF hes a unlockable character in gameplay since the unlockable characters from Super Mario Party werent shown playable when they FISRT revealed the game at all, so i think the remaining playable characters that WILL be in the roster are:

Well while Foreman Spike was in the mario movie he didnt really appear in any of the major mario games recently. Pauline appeared in mario odyssey which popularized her and thats when she started to appear in the spin offs as well.

This might be copium, but I really doubt the scene they showed with the 20 characters is actually the full list of characters that are unlocked from the start, just because there was an equal amount of good characters and bad characters in Super Mario Party. My assumption is that every character from Super is coming back, any of the returning characters from Super that are unrevealed are probably still unlockables (except for Hammer Bro, i think they just forgot to leave him in the trailer for some reason). Then for unrevealed characters outside of that, Pauline definitely seems like the most likely slot for that last good character (i did this with the assumption there would be 30 characters total, 15 on each side), making Diddy, Ninji, and Pauline the good unlockables.
The baddies were a little trickier to figure out, mainly because it would mostly be regular mario enemies, but i think the roster that would probably make the most since would be Piranha Plant, Blooper, and Lakitu as unlocked from the start (Plant and Blooper make the most sense to me to appear out of the normal enemies, and Lakitu has gotten a lot of spin off appearances, mainly in Mario Kart). Then for the unlockables, Dry Bones and PomPom would take up 2 of the 3 unlockable slots, and maybe the third could be the Koopalings? It would work like the different colored toads and shy guys would probably, where they all take up one slot. Alternatively, Dry Bones is a normal character and Lakitu becomes an unlockable, and Pom Pom gets cut from this game and maybe Magikoopa can become playable (Toad and Toadette also seem to be helping run the party so what's stopping Magikoopa?)
This would make the full roster:
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Birdo, Rosalina, DK, Toad, Toadette, and Diddy, Ninji, and Pauline as unlockables for the good side, and:
Bowser, Goomba, Shy Guy, Koopa, Monty Mole, Bowser Jr., Boo, Hammer Bro, Spike, Blooper, Piranha Plant, Lakitu/Dry Bones, and Dry Bones/Lakitu, Pom Pom/Magikoopa, and the Koopalings as the unlockables for the evil side.
I dont think Ninji is going to be in the good side since Ninji is most likely going to the bad side since the most recent Super Mario Bros title still listed him as a enemy than a NPC.

0:06 This is exactly what I wanted after playing superstars and super mario party! While superstars is overall better game than super mario party but content is still somewhat lacking and there are few things that super still did better that I missed in superstars. Super mario party had twice as many playable characters, more side modes and motion minigames which all werent in superstars but the boards sucked,they were too small and boring not to mention only 4 boards is unacceptable, the board movement was painfully slow, items sucked and getting coins was too easy not to mention stars and items were too cheap so everyone always had coins for everything even if they failed at all minigames. And you were forced to use single joycons. Superstars fixed the issue with boards as the boards were back to traditional style that were bigger,more fun with faster movement,better items,stars cost back to 20, no forced joycons but only 10 characters, no additinal side modes and while 5 boards is better than 4 its still on the lower side and should have been at least 6.
Jamboree seems like the best of both worlds while getting rid of the bad stuff. Plenty of playable characters like in super, motion minigames that arent forced so you can still use regular controllers but you still have option to play them so they arent completely absent like in superstars but boards size and gameplay style is more like in superstars rather than super and 7 boards including 2 classic boards so basically zero complains about not having enough boards and there are other side modes.
In short character roster and side modes were better in super but boardplay and the fact that you werent forced to use joycons was better in superstars and Jamboree has both of the better stuff from both games!
Completely agree with this all!!!! Jamboree is the best of both worlds. Bigger, Better Boards.. Whilst still bringing back timeless classics.
Both joy con and non motion minigames. I think it’s great. It’s going to be good. I was sceptical at first with the super branding but well done NDCube.

I feel like just due to the scope of this game and the twenty player mode, having just five characters to chose from as the last person in the lobby still feels like slim pickins, I also feel like the protagonists and bowsers team will be equally balanced, so I could see there being 30 characters just due to the way the game is advertised. But honestly I’ll be happy with the 21 we have, I love big rosters and 21 is a great size especially for Maria party

Came from Nin10ndo’s video, and I think guest characters would be a fun addition. Of course, it is unlikely addition, but I can think of two characters that would be great for the Mario Party series: Villager and Kirby. Seriously, please give my pink puff a chance at becoming the Super Star (the reason why I think Villager is because of Amiibo Festival, a Mario Party spinoff for Animal crossing, and the reason why I think Kirby is because he comes from planet pop star, so seeing him as the super *star* would make total sense.)
It wouldn’t be a complete wild card to have an uneven number because the last slot would be a random character button. Also Nintendo please bring the Miis back to life! Start including them in spin-off games always and release a Super Nintendo Switch Sports with the Super Nintendo Switch console, have the game be absolutely free pre-installed and make Super Nintendo Switch Sports Resort be a paid DLC on the more expensive side like $45 because it adds Wuhu Island! Then the physical edition of the game would always be with Resort. I know this is entirely off topic but I think doing a tie in game like this or something would really bring the Miis back to life, yknow have a game where people want to buy a Switch 2 because they could play this massive multiplayer game with their friends or people who own a Switch 2 feel extra inclined to pay $45 or even $60 for a DLC because they know it more than doubles the content of the game and they already know they love the game!
I feel like majority of characters should be unlockable opposed to immediately playable. Like in Superstars I think it’s dumb that the only progression is you can flex a higher level on your ID Badge and you can buy stickers! I had this idea for Super Stars in Superstars game! So after you play a game on a board as long as the game was 15 turns or more and one of the physical players(not the AI!)won, then you get a Super Star which is an outside of each game currency! And if you’ve never won on the board then you get two super stars so it’s bonus incentive to play new boards! But this would be a good progression system because in Superstars they could’ve made it so maybe 6 characters are unlocked of the 10(Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, DK) and then each other character is one super star(Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina, Birdo)and then they could easily add 2 new characters to round out the roster a little better with both that cost a super star(Diddy Kong and Pauline, this would let them group every two characters together in some way so it would be organized better too!). And then also make the boards cost super stars! So a one star board costs one super star, a two star board costs two super stars, e.t.c. Maybe they give three super stars to start so you can actually decide which map you want and if you choose a cheaper one maybe get two or even another character! This would also allow for new boards to be added too such as the two coming to Jamboree would’ve perfectly slotted in as One Star(Mario Castle)and Two Star(Western Land)! This progression system is super simple to comprehend and lets people truly feel like their personal save file has some value to it! Maybe there would be some other few exclusions for getting super stars too like idk but something in Mt. Mini-Games so you aren’t forced to the board game for progression, if the leveling up system is out of 100 levels maybe every 10th level gives a super star which also means Mt. Mini-Games contributes, and lastly what I think would be cool is if during a Mario Party Game when you are in the home stretch there is a 20% chance that they announce a Super Star has been added to one specific shop! This is interesting as you have to make it to that one shop in the last five turns and it’ll cost 100 coins so you pretty much have to be willing to throw the entire game so that everyone can have more fun with new characters and boards! Also the boat to Mt. Mini-Games would cost One Super Star as well! But this is a perfect way to make the player feel rewarded, start off with 6 of 12 characters and no boards! In this game I feel like you should start off with only like 8 of the maybe 24 total characters but they will probably start you off with 20. Since this is already a long Yap I want to leave two more remarks: #1 is that there have been people saying to make Mario Party like Jack box games where plenty of people can join in on their phone and come together and maybe these can be fast games or games that can last across days to complete and still have the classic mode but maybe this is in place of the 20 player mode! My second remark is that I just cannot wait until Mario Party becomes massive in its character roster because I feel like eventually Mario Kart and Party will go hand and hand with almost always the exact same rosters and that would make me happy cuz then it would be justified to have more than two Kongs as if they added Funky then the selection would be too bloated with kongs right now but then also we could get character skins too like black Yoshi and Shyguy, metal and Tanooki mario, or even obscure like a mechanic(DKC3) outfit for Funky!

I think Nintendo will once again keep the Heroes vs. Villains ratio the same like in Super. The initial cutscene is more than likely missing unlockables as Ninji is nowhere to be seen except during actual gameplay. If they add Pauline and Diddy, then the Villain team needs to be evened out as well as that would make it 14 Heroes vs. 9 Villains. My prediction is, if they add Pauline and Diddy, they will also add Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Boom Boom, Pom Pom and either Chargin’ Chuck or Blooper for an even 28.
I really want funky Kong and petey as why the hell not, i mean if they can add ninji, why not those, this could turn out like mario golf and putting in dlc later if we can't unlock
