When Lucy sings, she is like water, she becomes the song, she sings the song with all her heart and soul, she sings with clarity, smooth control, a beautiful softness, and breath control, she checks all the boxes. This is a masterclass in vocalisation by a virtuoso in her art. Lucy has every tool you could possibly imagine in her vocal toolbox and she deploys them perfectly and right on point. A Musical genius is in the house. Listen up everybody.
Probably the most amazing rendition of this masterclass she made it her own as masterpieces beautifully done.

Always impressed by your reactions of Lucy. Wow. She is just mesmerizing. What else can you say? I think this is her best performance yet, although We Can Change The World, All By Myself, and Footprints In The Sand come close. And her vocal range is stunning.

Hi Musasia. Lucy’s lower register is soooooo warm and just wraps you up in a warm embrace. I love the high note, we were all waiting for, but the depth of her voice takes the song to a different place, when compared to the original that is sung in a higher range and at a quicker pace. I also like the wider camera angle which allows us to see how Lucy uses her arms to aid her expression and give more feeling. I don’t know if it’s because of her live concert, but this, for me, is one of Lucy’s most relaxed performances ❤

Unbelievable performance of this iconic song!!!! just beautiful....only Bobby Hatfield'' version is a bit better....and that's saying a lot about Lucy's....Also, when Lucy's voice gets better and and better in her late thirties she will surpass Bobby's for sure💘💝💞
I realize that Bobby Hatfield is the one who made this song famous. However, who does the song better is a matter of opinion and personal preference. Also comparing a male performance with a female performance is always problematic. However, after listening to Lucy and then Bobby, I have to say that I prefer Lucy's performance. That being said, Bobby's performance is definitely iconic.
I used to think that until I heard this version by Lucy Now no contest Lucy crushes it.
