I’ve loved and performed magic for over 50 years. I follow a lot of magicians on RUclips. I have to say, you are one of my favorites. Everything you post is well thought out and usable. I had no idea you were also into 3D printing. I have been 3D printing for close to 10 years. I’m always looking for 3d printed magic. If you share this I’d venture to say it would be the best 3D printed trick available. Well done. I’m looking forward to printing it.
Also if you leave the back two panels off and just don't show the back side of the frame until the end of the trick, you can pull the mirror out of the frame leaving the ribbons behind! I've seen it done this way with one long ribbon instead of two
Nice one! Branching out from cards huh? You should print those and sell them, I'd have one like a shot! As an aside, you mentioned the late Paul Daniels... when I was at the BBC I used to work on the Paul Daniels shows we did. My job was balancing camera exposures on the fly as each shot changed. Doing that job the absolute worst thing you had to contend with was anybody wearing a white shirt or the like in an unscripted environment where they might move anywhere and you've got to make it look right! So Paul picks someone from the audience to help him cut delicious Debby McGee into three pieces in a box - the old favourite! And who does he pick? My father who just happens to be wearing the whitest shirt ever! Oh did I give him hell when I got home later!!!
What a fantastic story and what a job! I met Paul a few times, once in a local coffee shop near his home, he was very talkative. Shame he's no longer with us.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome!!!😊
Interesting. I've always wondered how "object through solid" magic works. Very satisfying to finally know it!
Very nice. Thank you.
I think the device is brilliant and so good. I own a 3D printer myself and would try to print this out. Thanks
This is so cool! I've seen this classic trick in wood before, and stage sizes. Don't have a 3D printer tho, wish these were available as kits!

Thank you for the kind words. I don't think I can match the professionals on RUclips, but as an amateur I do have fun playing with tricks.
That's blooming brilliant 👏

Noice!
Looking glass? I thought it was a mirror!
LoL... Actually Looking Glass was a term used many many years ago before mirror became popular. Maybe I'm showing my age!
