Great tip with that aluminum block to "gently" persuade a formed line in each corner...back in the day, we used a 3" putty knife to do that, and not always successfully. We kept the parts houses in inventory I guess - thanks for your time!
Great tips! I check the intake to head port alignment with the valley pan during mockup in case the heads/intake need to be milled. My first stroker build, I didn't check until final assembly, and had to mill quite a bit off the intake for it to fit which pretty much makes that intake unique to the engine, and if I wanted to swap intakes later the new one would need milled too, unless I pulled the heads and have the intake port side milled which I should have done originally.
Love seeing this thing coming together. I'm wondering what you'd recommend for ignition system parts like a box and coil. I have MSD but it's already crapped out on me once and I keep hearing bad things about their quality so I'm looking for other options.

I can see a putty knife cutting those.
Great work 👍👍
Thank you so much

I've had to do similar things on other engines
Nice video Pete!
Thanks!
Great video, thanks Pete
Very welcome

I will be getting to the ignition very soon
I somehow missed something. Did you use a gasket or sealant between the intake manifold and valley-pan/head?
Just a bead of sealant between the intake and pan gasket
what brand and type of black sealant did you use? Thanks
Right stuff and Reinzosil
Pete, Thank you and thank for all the great build videos for Mopar 440's and stroker's over the years. Most helpful.@@PetesGarage
Glad to help
