If you're looking for the best budget 3D printers, it's really hard to beat the Creality Ender 3 or 3 v2. Ender 3 - amzn.to/3GkqiZy Ender 3 v2 - amzn.to/3TFjVmE I get consistently good results with Hatchbox filament, but you can also save some money with Sunlu. Oh my goodness!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was driving myself crazy trying to remix someone's stl in fusion 360. a minute into your video I was able to change what I needed to. CANNOT believe how incredibly easy that was! Thank you!!
thanks for such a quick and educational vid...im trying to learn tinkercad and lightburn slowly..been out the pc game for awile and id like to maybe get a little side hustle going with a laser engraving...gunna check out a few more of ur videos and thanks again for ur time
This is great but it only shows how to add things to the existing design. Is there not a way to take the existing STL and separate the joined elements?
If you have an Autodesk account (fusion 360) then you can access it as well. Great video as this is something a lot of people want to just jump into but not know.
I agree that it is a much better product but you can do a lot with just the knowledge of this seven and a half minute tutorial if that's all you're interested in putting into it. I don't really have the time or desire to learn real cad though. I truly do encourage anyone who wants to to try fusion

This is going to be very useful soon...I think I'm going to pull the trigger on my first 3D printer this month!
Awesome. Have you decided what you're getting?
Legend, thanks for the intro to Remixing and Tinkercad. This has got me started.
Awesome. Glad it's been helpful. I've been having fun with it.
Thank you, very clear and straight to the point instructions!
This. Is. Godlike! A super helpful video, very good pace, exactly what I needed thank you!

Not in an uploaded stl file from my experience. If you create something from scratch, then yes, you can edit whatever you have made/done in tinkercad.
this is so easy and a game changer
Thank you so much. Glad it was helpful!

Good call on Autodesk. I love remixing this stuff. It's opened up a whole lot of possibilities for me.
Fusion 360 is much better for manipulating an stl file, if you are going to learn a cad, it might as well be a powerful one. Larry

Excellent. Thank you.
You are welcome! Glad it was helpful.
I have been using that for a couple of years. I'm still no expert at it.
Yeah. I'm far from an expert, but I've made some useful stuff. It's pretty sweet though.
Useful!
Thank you so much for this video I was in fact STUCK I was even inquiring on Etsy $ for somebody to edit for me
what I miss is how to resize
How can you centre a cut out hole in a round object ?
A lot of times I draw an x on it and do that. I'm sure there are some tools but I don't really know them very well
