sadly yes, found it 1 day in the yard having a bit of trouble getting around because of it's back legs so i gave it some tortillas and left it, half hour later i heard loud squeaking from the yard and found it surrounded by a circle of rats that probably wanted to eat it so i had to bring it inside, if a cat or a dog ate the little guy it would be fast and relatively "painless" but rats are small, couldn't let it suffer like that, he can move around pretty "good" now, he can move at 4 or 5 feet in a second but as you can tell from the video he isnt scared or stressed and is just exploring
@@frogz Look up metabolic bone disease. Possums have really specific nutritional needs (specific ratio of calcium and phosphorus) that can cause mobility issues if they get the wrong diet. Eventually they die if not corrected soon enough.
