I think it would help to clarify 'woke'. There are a subset who try to paint anything vaguely left as the latest "woke" insanity. But if you define it as leftism taken to a point of absurdity or with a clear element of performance, then you can mock it. It's not joining the right (or shouldn't be). And you can even mock things that you participate in. It's called self-deprecation and having a sense of humor.
Are your parents woke? 14 seems young to find woke on your own and then change. I keep telling my kids that now that you see all these adult wokes that kids will start rebelling against it. It is cheesy and honestly boring. I am a mom of all girls and I raised them to laugh about sexist jokes and not to take any of it seriously. It is fun to be able to laugh at yourself and realize that all that matters is how you feel about yourself. Now that you aren’t woke you can enjoy laughing at it all.
@@SB-fh3sv wouldn’t surprise me if it’s the school. Most public school teachers are on the far left and many are actively pushing their ideology in the classroom.
I’m 14 and at school I’m surrounded by people who have the stereotypical gen z attitude. Even the teachers at my school encourage it, and honestly I find a lot of it ridiculous. I know people who have changed their gender and sexuality more times than I can count, just because they ‘don’t want to be straight.’ It’s become a replacement for a personality:( Anyways, it’s just refreshing to know I’m not the only one who feels the same way🤍
Hang in there! It doesn’t last forever. And those people are sheep so don’t feel bad for being an independent thinker who doesn’t follow the propaganda
I’ve deleted tiktok, and I’ve started to do my own research on politics instead of believing everything’s that told to us at school. I now realize that we really were being brainwashed into believing “woke” culture, and I’m finally breaking out of it because of channels like these! Thank you ❤
We all have to think critically… for instance .. who stands to benefit from us allowing Or believing the woke BS? Who /what stands to benefit? The what’s the actual outcome of the hyper-sensitive language change, doesn’t it drive a wedge between all of us? So we’re afraid to even speak to each other. Afraid that no one is on the same page as me. Isolate us which is NO GOOD for any human or animal. Some power brokers who want to divide and destroy us from in the inside are doing it. Dont fixate on the names of the gazillionaires bc it doesn’t matter: if you strike one down another will pop up. We need to recognize we are being manipulated. America got strong because we shared belief in meritocracy and property rights and rule of law and rights to your day in court, habeas corpus. We didn’t need to all be the same religion, because we had those shared ideals. But we are being dismantled and the young are just the useful idiots. Don’t be a pawn people!!! Golden rule! Love your neighbor! Come on!
i used to be “woke” just 4 months ago (embarrassing) i would literally block brett’s channel because i disagreed with her but one day i just wanted to see what is going on and what other people think, so i watched these types of channels (amala, brett etc.) and they really helped me realise what is going on and changed my mind, i’m looking from a different perspective now
@@andrewcopple7075 the sides themselves change. Republicans used to loathe government overreach and scream for small government. Now they are legislating libraries and classroom syllabi, nit picking rideshare drivers, and passing laws directly aimed at one entity. Democrats were once pro-slavery and later supported civil rights movements and now are the “everyone should be happy” party. Neither party looks anything like they did 30 years ago - unrecognizable. Side note: you cannot make everyone happy, but you may endeavor to make everyone equally unhappy!
I sadly was a victim of being indoctrinated by the woke of tik tok. Im 16 now and your channel opened my mind and just snapped me out of the brainwashing i was experiencing
You inherited a reality micromanaged by HR departments filled to the brim with millennials fresh out of the universities. How else could this have really turned out? I’m a millennial and I had high hopes for gen z but I think I’m gonna put my chips on the next generation being based enough to recalibrate the culture.
I'm 22 and I'm pretty conservative/libertarian. That being said I don't hate anyone for having different views than me, but i do strongly dislike the woke crowd for ripping our society apart with their lunacy.
as 32yo, this is normal except your gen takes it to the extreme. we had emo, goth, etc.. the difference is, having faith/a belief was normal. being gay isn’t a sin, acting on it is.
I suffered a miscarriage a few months ago, and when the first sign appeared, I was devasted, and so I immediately called my public health line to get their opinion and some guidance on what to do. The woman answered the phone and heard me crying and trying to explain myself, and the first thing the woman on the other end of the phone asked me was what I identify as.... I said, "Excuse me, she said whats your gender..." I said if you don't know what my gender is, then you certainly don't know how to help me... and in a time like this let me tell you how heartbreaking that is and I hung up. I then went to the hospital and was seen by a younger male doctor who treated me with such dignity and compassion. That man knew what this woman was going through and his response was as it should be We need to raise our voices because this has gone to far. How can any woman call themselves a feminist when they advocate to diminish who and what we are like its a game.

@@chriswilliamson4055 because there's more people in this world than just your wife and other women who have a uterus that's why, so maybe you should read the room....them asking women that doesn't stop them from getting care, they are just gathering info to better help the situation. sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's just reality. miscarriages are tragic but you can't use that as an expectation for the rest of civilization to put their health care needs on hold just because you don't want to think about there being other issues related to gender outside your scope of lived reality.
i’m 16 and i used to be SO woke when i was 12-13. all of my friends were incredibly left and woke and i thought i’d get cancelled and socially exiled if i disagreed with them. thankfully when i was around 14 i discovered blaire white’s channel and i was saved. people like brett and blaire are amazing.
So sad. When I was 12 I was too busy having fun with my friends to care about shitty political takes. They're literally ruining your kids lives. Im glad you were able to have your eyes opened.
Me too. Seeing creators like Brett and Amala has opened my eyes that just because I disagree with the tik tok woke agenda doesn't make me a bad person. I see so much more hate from the left and so much morw for exclusion. They leave no room for nuance and cancel the people who even remotely question them. They scream "stop taking my rights" as they try and shut down free speech and even freedom of religion. It's all just victimhood, they want to be "discriminated" against because they are bored and have nothing going on in their real lives.
Ever since I started college I felt myself becoming more "woke" but it's channels like Brett's that kinda snapped me back to reality. Political truths are a real thing. You hear something repeated so much you start to believe it's true, and you feel like it's wrong to question it.
@@nickcunningham6344i would add that there is something like peer pressure. If your surrounding tells you that particular things are good, and actively discouraging from watching alternative opinion, it's natural to steer in that direction. Labelling conservativism as fascism worked very well. Only thing that saved "right" is fact that left goes too fast and too far, that started condradict stances that were considered "left" just few years, or even months prior. Same stance that would label someone just 15 years ago as "left" in today standards is labelled as right, or even far right. Another thing is that majority of policies promoted as just by left, just don't work, and often makes situation worse.
I’m a democrat but I don’t support all their views. I support a lot of what republicans say since a lot of the things they say is more common sense than the democrats!
I was MEGA woke girl in 2020- Early 2022. Then one day I saw Brett’s video and I started to snap out of it slowly. Now I watch people like Brett, Amala, etc.
Two things that happened to me that honestly just did not make sense: 1. My friend came out as non-binary (changed her pronouns and everything). Literally had zero physical transitioning at all, but she had teachers start calling her by her new name, and would correct people when they didn’t use the right stuff. Couple of weeks later, she asks me and my friend to “stop outing her”. 2. Same friend from the end of the last one, we were having a sleepover. We’re all making things using those little beads that you iron in my room. Somehow the topic comes around to the friend who changed their name and pronouns. My little sister says, “Oh, you mean [old name]?”. Friend keeps correcting my sister and, after a few attempts, just starts calling my *10 year old little sister* homophobic. Saddest part of all of this is that me and my friends are all preteens. None of us are even developed enough to make such huge decisions. I think the main problem is that people who do these things forget that it actually affects the people around them. Also the fact that some people do not understand all of it. Like mentioned in the last event, *you cannot call someone homophobic because some of us are too young or aren’t online as much you are to understand* . People who really believe these things need to take a step back every once and a while and look at the bigger picture.
You are being very mature here. lad that your little sister called that ''friend' by her real name and not by the BS name and fake ''non binary' name. She is not to be ut down for being a child and knowing fakery when she sees it. Apparently your ''friend' is just following a FAD and in another year she will return to her senses.
People who believe those things need to take a step off a cliff as they are authoritarian enforcers of the sect of cultural Marxist groupthink. Rejoice in your youth, it will not recur and represents such a comparatively short period of your entire lifetime and a time which used to be carefree. Clearly these are your inner instincts, trust them. Be young, enjoy yourself, there are plenty of years ahead of you in which to be an adult, don't try to be that before you need to, or you'll always regret it once you are and can then never go back. Be blessed always.
You're really impressive if you are actually preteen. When I was that age my friends and I spent our time lighting things on fire and throwing rocks at the train as it went by.
I’m a 19 year old who just recently discovered your channel and you’ve really been helping me navigate out of the whole “woke” movement and realize I’m not a bigot for not wanting a biological male competing against me in sports Side note: That transition into the sponsorship was so satisfying omg

I actually hated myself just for being born as a gen-z. It didn't help that I'm also a straight white girl, and people judged me for saying I hated my own generation. They were calling me woke for saying it. I'm shocked that older people thought all of us thought like this, so I'm glad more people are saying we're not because most of us are embarrassed by all of this. Huge thanks to Brett here speaking the truth without being afraid of speaking it.

Hearing Brett talk about the narcissist bubble dug up a memory I hadn’t thought about in years. My 60 something middle school social studies teacher. He had rules in his class. He wanted us to step outside of our me bubbles and take a break. That’s all we ever see was me. He wanted us to see through others eyes and see their lives. We would pick an obituary every week to read. To learn and celebrate a life. He truly is a great teacher❤
I think that a lot of kids aren’t able to distinguish good teachers and them being brats themselves. Good teachers will yell at you if youre messing around and actually teach things, though when these kids get yelled at they automatically assume it is the teacher’s fault. They don’t realize it’s actually their behavior. When a teacher assigns 30 minutes of reading all the kids do is complain when instead they can be better and learn from that 30 minutes of reading.

I can't talk to my sisters anymore for having and wanting conservative values and championing the idea that everything has gotten worse since the 1960's. I support equal pay for equal work, but the social narrative today is spitting in the face of our grandparents calling them uneducated and oppressed. My nan was the happiest wife I've ever seen and my pop loved her passionately. She stopped living the moment his heart stopped. I feel sad for the mess that's created and the generations walking through and into it. A world fueled by greed, gluttony, envy, lust and sin. Not a moral fibre of a good being anywhere within them.
As the mother of teen gen z kids I’m am thrilled that your show exists. It has really helped my kids talk to me about the crazy they see in the world and given me the ability to give them the talking points they need to center themselves.
Hey MB, if you want a sane cause that support the leftwingers but still ain't into the woke crap you could checkout the LGB Alliance, it would be great to talk it with your kids if they wanted to hear sane things!
As a gen z woman, yes I am fed up with the craziness being shoved down our throats. At the same time, it’s crazy when talking to other gen z’ers that just never considered actually thinking about these issues for themselves. So many just regurgitate the nonsense that they watch or hear and never stop to think about the logic behind those answers.
the biggest problem is that its coming from educational institutions, so its not that your generation was watching and listening, you were literally being indoctrinated by the system, more people are going to be needed to fight this nonsense
I’m gen z too and I agree. As we get older, hopefully more of us will start to research these topics on our own. Graduating high school and entering the real world has helped a lot. I’m not force-fed woke ideas anymore by teachers and friends and I base my values on logic and reasoning now. I have faith that our generation will grow out of this woke mindset as we age and mature over time.
Im 26 and in my first year of college. Was SUPER concerned about everyone being a mega lib woke asshole. Mostly its just the teachers, and a handful of colorful haired kids, and weirdly a lot of the women are kinda lib, but those are just the ones who speak on it a lot. The rest of us know better because we don’t want to be canceled or given bad grades by lib professors. But there are normal people around. Some kids in my sociology class even speak on their right wing views and I admire their courage but worry for them. All that being said, I’m at a community college with kids that weren’t al raised privileged/spoiled like many other schools. I’d imagine upbringing has a lot to do with political views at that age. I’m a libertarian, and I just stfu and make sure I keep straight A’s. I can try and change the world when my future success doesn’t depend on social approval from my authority figures lol.
I’m a Gen Z (a little younger than Brett), and growing up with a conservative mom and a liberal dad I never really knew what to believe regarding politics. But when I was watching Brett’s channel I realized that I agree with a lot of the things that she says. In my school it seems like everyone has a political opinion and basically all my peers are very left and woke and I’m afraid to voice my opinion at school. I’m not really conservative per se (I’m more on the independent side), but it’s so nice to hear that I’m not the only person who prioritizes rationality over these ridiculous woke agendas. People like Brett are amazing, she’s such a huge role model to me and there should be more like her in the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️
As a 53 yr old mom, I am so beyond happy to see the comments from all the teenagers and young folks. I was worried about your generation, and this gives me much hope.
People are smart. They'll figure it out soon enough. Then we'll watch as woke parents get sued for forcing their 11 year old child to sterilize themselves. And it'll be the children sueing the parents
One of the best comments I have seen was " Imagine an 18 year old kid in syria who has been on his own for 10 years and he sees a person in usa bawling hysterically because someone called them the wrong gender".
Yeah I don’t disagree with you but I don’t like this argument because you could literally say this about anything. One upping and not allowing people to feel the way they feel or express that is one of my biggest pet peeves. Like imagine that 18 yo kid talking about his life and someone’s like “well at least you didn’t have to go through so-and-so, you should be grateful”
I am embarrassed because I used to pride myself on being "woke". When I searched it up on Google it said "aware of racial prejudice and discrimination". This happened because the pendulum swung so extremely far. I was a progressive and woke millennial (almost gen X) but they lost me in antiracism (racism) training, extreme cancel culture etc. I started walking on egg shells like the worst abusive relationship and the only ones left on the far left were obviously narcissistic. The whittled their own group down to almost nothing by seeing how far they could take it.
I actually almost cried because of this video. I didn’t think we were close to getting people to realize how insane our generation is. Now that I see that people are realizing these things and that they’re speaking out about it makes me so hopeful for the future and I’ve regained (a little) faith in humanity!

Notice how all these people in these tiktok clips are also woke lgb people. It’s because the alphabet alliance is currently undergoing a civil war, with JK Terflings on one side, and 600+ gender people on the other side...
Why do people blame the generation? it's only really american, german, canadian, australian and british gen Zers where "neo pronouns" and other far leftist shit is actually a conversation. But, fact check, there's more gen Zers outside of these countries than inside. People from these countries are tarnishing the generation for all of us.
As an older gen z (1997), I think this trend is happening because a lot of people in my generation have started to mature and venture into the real world and leave the internet space to deal with ACTUAL real world problems
The pendulum always swings the other way. It has gone so far one way that it has become a joke that it only makes sense that it will swing the other way. Have hope ❤️

If more people spoke out, perhaps culture would swing back towards something more normal. Fear of being cancelled basically corners everyone into silence and allows for insanity to go unchecked.
Id want to believe that, but people care way too much about feelings to even care. They think that if they're reasonable then things will go back to the times of slavery and child labor. I think its best to just let these people bury themselves alive, because they keep digging holes that we keep dragging them out of.

As much as it hurts my millennial soul to say this... this is a moment when the Boomers were right: you actually do grow out of a LOT of this. Brain chemistry stops developing in our mid 20s, and the older you get the more Gen Z will calm down over all. The key here is getting older and realizing Gen X & the Boomers were often right and we were dumbf*ck is humiliating af. Because it's humiliating, a LOT of your own generation will go batshit insane and try to hold on to being young. And it's up to peers to correct them so they can actually go somewhere in life. Gotta take being a common sense adult seriously in order for it to work. And yes, it f*cking sucks. But also yes: if you put actual effort into it, it's rewarding af. Go figure. 🤷♀️
@@Over_It you are going to another extreme here... Find some balance. Yes, we live by the law of majority and "fitting" uniformly makes life easier from a social standpoint... But that doesn't mean it is right. Stop following trends for god sake so you can be happier overall and just be yourself without enforcing your point of view onto others unless they aren't aware they are harming themselves or others. Edit: Also please don't spout senseless bullshit about brain chemistry if you don't understand how it works, and I'm aware you don't because of what you wrote. Don't try to reaffirm yourself with fake science out of your imagination.
@@Over_It It shouldn't be humiliating for you, be glad you are maturing enough to realize it and make it your advantage. The problem is gen Z, Millennials and even gen X have been incredibility coddled, we lost that tough love. You are right about the boomers, but I will say choose who you take advise from wisely.
@@Over_It You make a good point about the difficulty of walking back your own earlier beliefs. I think it was so much easier for earlier generations to feel sheepish about a silly haircut, some subpar musical tastes, misguided beliefs, or other silly fads than for some of the more extreme rebellions being promoted today. The further in you go, the further it is to crawl back out.
@Cheryll Waldrop I mean, the point I was trying to make is that I never doubted that there was hope for Gen Z to become rational. Boomers told us wisdom comes with age, and they were right. I am a millenial, & as I get older I calm down more. I get more rational & practical and I feel less like I can change the world. Gen Z is young. Most of them will reach the Zen Point the rest of us did. The ones who don't reach it are scared of getting old & they act out. It's something my Boomer parents always used to say: "when you're my age, you'll understand." It's not fashionable to praise Boomers, but in this case, they were right. Gen Z will hit 30 and realize that the things they're so freaked out about actually don't matter all that much, and they'll realize that fear-mongering & social crazes are real things.
As a 14 year old I’m glad my parents were never woke and actually care enough about me to keep me from turning woke 😂 I’m so happy there are influences that agree too
I do not honestly know what will happen in your generation since it's so far removed from the time a 30 year old like me grew up in. But back then, the big things that worried me at 14 are nonsense to me now (at the same time that the things that made me happy at that age are still pure joyful memories for me). So just be open to growing up? You'll jump beliefs throughout your life and dont be scared to dump the beliefs that do not fit the reality you face. Good luck!
Recently gotten into your videos. I use to be woke out of my mind, had a red under dye, used they/them pronouns, I threw the dumbest facts I pulled out of my ass out into the world to get a point across, and supported anyone even if they were clearly not in the right headspace. Nowadays I feel confident in my female identity and comfortable, my views have shifted drastically seeing the effect it’s had on kids in my generation, and for the first time ever I feel compelled to want kids. Shocker for some.
I used to be incredibly woke (bunny ears and massive eyeliner type woke) and would argue as if my life depended on it in defence of the "they/them"s and all the other bs that Gen Z has created. Finally, I feel like I've woken up and can see how ridiculous it all is! I am honestly ashamed of the things I used to believe and advocate for. It's channels like yours that have helped me see the light and be normal again.
As someone who never understood how anyone could believe it, could you explain what your thought process was? Like how did you justify it to yourself. Just want to get how woke people think/justify it to themselves.
@@Markus2E5I6 I believed that I was fighting for the right thing and helping speak for those who couldn't speak for themselves. It also didn't help that I had many older people brainwashing me and telling me that their way was the only way. There really was no thought process (for me at least) beyond "I want to do the right thing. These people are telling me all these things that don't sound right but they're older than me so it must be true".
@@stayforver That goes with my theory then, Gen Z thinks these things up but its the older generations sustaining it and encouraging it. I've noticed that pattern a lot, its like indoctrination they target children tell them of the ideology then gaslight them into thinking they are that ideology. I've come to the point where I'm never shocked anymore by the racism of the White Democratic Left toward black people who don't live on their plantation. It's always disgusting, but no longer surprising.
You’re welcome here! Leftists will just treat you as a color. They’ll deny your full humanity and then claim it is we who are the racists. I’ve seen it happen so many times.
There was a pride day at my middle school during June where teachers told kids to wear rainbow for pride. A bunch of kids got together and decided to wear red white and blue. So many wore patriotic colors that my they canceled the day this year. I am so proud of my middle school student body!!❤
I’m apart of Gen Z, gay, and conservative and let me just say I couldn’t agree more!! The woke left has taken it too far. It’s so refreshing to see other people in my situation speak up about this ludicrousness.
Usually when I see people with pride flag icons, it sends me into fight or flight mode. There are so many angry woke people who use them and I've had one too many negative experiences with them. Seeing you here, a conservative gen z with a gay pride flag in his icon who hates the woke mob just as much as I do, it's not only refreshing to see, but it also makes me realize it's true that not all people flying flags or wearing pins are dangerous. I appreciate people like you! 😊 I guess I would be considered a centrist lesbian who really hates narcissists. As much as I like the colors of the lesbian flag, I'm going to keep my icon the same because I like the face in my current profile pic too much. 😂
Mhm it feels like they're all just trying to fight sparks with even more fire. Its not helping anyone and actually just making relations even worse between race, sex, religion, and sexuality. Its really sad because when I was younger I actually believed that they wanted to make the world a better place, but over time I saw how they were just another evil pushing the blame elsewhere.
Yesss I'm genz and lesbian this has gone too far. I'm not quirky, as much as I'd like to i cannot change who I'm attracted to. I just want to date/marry someone else who is female, also, since when did transgender get intertwined with gay stuff
This is too true. Im 26 years old, always felt like Im between the tight space of millennials and Genz. Ive always felt so excluded and alienated for my views. I used to be scared to have conversations with friends. At a point I didn't even want to have conversations or make friends because everything seemed pointless. Im glad I found your page and also happy to see many people speaking out. Feels like having common sense and to have a mind of your own without having a herd mentality is rare nowadays and it's sad.
i'm 16 and from ages 9-14 i stood up for this. now looking back, i'm glad i found videos like this teaching me how wrong this is. i'm never going back to that time, and i'm glad i found this channel.
that's crazy lol. a 9-14 shouldn't be standing up for anything to be completely honest, they should play and learn to be a decent human being, not debating modern philosophies, people at that age don't have the maturity for it, don't have the life experience for that.
thats exactly why this woke agenda is going too far, because its """preying""" on emotionally immature and life-unexperienced people to back it up (kids)
When i was 11 i used to think i was a trans man, My mom made me cut that sh it i was mad at her now i'm 14 and i hated who i was back then this sh it confuses kids!
As a 38 year old man I watch Brett because she gives me hope. Now I learn there are many more like her. An army of young people with actual common sense. Time to celebrate 🥳
My daughter is 21 and at university. A couple of years ago she would get annoyed if I said anything about woke culture but she has since seen the light and realised just how ridiculous it has got. I mean, get this - My dad, who is 66, needs to get a scan at hospital and during his pre scan appointment the doctor said to him “this may sound strange but I have to ask if there is any chance you might be pregnant?” Come on ffs! 😂
@@WELCOMEWATER it’s “inclusive language” apparently. I thought my dad was joking (he’s a bit of a joker) but I googled it and I absolutely believe him. Also, my step mam, who has had a hysterectomy and who was described as barren by the doctor, was asked if she thought she could be pregnant! This was quite upsetting for her as she was unable to have any children of her own. I mean, how can a woman with no uterus be pregnant? It beggars belief!
That’s what I’ve been saying forever…get offline, pick up a job, attempt to get promoted in that job, explore hobbies that aren’t related to social media, and go hiking. The level of social media toxicity is off the charts.
Getting offline saved me from the woke bullshit. It's not so bad in Africa but it is spreading here too. It's horrible and I am a lesbian. Like I hate how the community here is so involved with the political discourse of the west.
Why can't people just go camping anymore. I make a point of leaving all technology at home (except a charged and switched off emergency phone) and go camping for a MINIMUM of 2 weeks a year just to get away from this shit and it's the only time of the year I feel genuinely content and can enjoy the world around me lol
I kinda needed to read this. I fell into this idea that I would find joy in being a 'youtuber', because it would mean more free time and less stress. That was a funny funny joke.
As a late millennial, I wish I had the courage to do something like this when I was in my early twenties... being peer-pressured into thinking a certain way is extremely toxic.
One of my so called non binary friends came around and actually said "tbh I dont care about the non binary stuff anymore. I know it for myself but im not going to worry about other people not knowing it or misgendering me" And I was like "WAIT WHAAAAAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?!?!?!?"
The whole idea to begin with was self-centered and unrealistic. The average person on the street can't be expected to just know your "preferred" gender. Your cashier shouldn't be expected to have that conversation with you. Even those that know you are going to slip up when you've done nothing to really change your appearance to the other gender.
My wife works first shift at a grocery store as a stocker. She is 6'1" with a size 14 foot, has very short hair, wears no makeup, and is masculine in the way she dresses. She has never once corrected anyone (neither at work nor outside of work) when they've said things like, 'hey dude, which aisle is the ____ in?', or 'aha--now *here's* a tall guy, can you reach the _____ for me?', or 'excuse me, sir, what time does the store close?'...She understands that many people, when glancing at her, are probably going to think she's a guy, and she understands why people think she's a guy. She's never felt the need to say to anyone who mistakes her for a man, 'hey, I'm a WOMAN', because she already *knows* she's a woman. I do understand why actual trans people--and by 'actual trans', I mean physically transitioned, taking hormones, and dressing as the opposite sex as they were born as/the sex they want to be--could get sensitive about being misgendered, but if they don't expect to be misgendered (edit: removed an extra word here) or they get offended by being misgendered, they have a serious self-awareness problem.
I'm Gen Z (22f) and I'm so glad more of us are speaking out about this!!! When I was in my early teens, I actually used to consider myself quite liberal. My "liberalness" was basically entirely based on my beliefs that gay marriage should be legal, trans adults can do what they want with their bodies, separation of church and state, blah blah blah. I still believe in these things, but I never could have predicted how far it would go. I thought I was standing for a movement of freedom. Freedom to marry the one you love regardless of sex, freedom to present yourself to the world as you wish to be seen, freedom of religion. I stood by this until, to my surprise, the woke brigade became apparently adamantly anti-freedom!!! I don't like being told what to do or what to think, so I immediately stepped away and reassessed what I was being an ally to. The only person who I feel I can openly talk about politics with is my partner, who has always been conservative, and my older family members, who are like "wtf is going on with people nowadays??"
Same age, same story. I drifted conservative from 13-16 because of all the videos calling out "SJW" culture back then. Little did we know how much worse it would get LMAO
It's not the LEFT who are the problem, it's the FAR left. They're a bunch of twonks. Same as the right. Most are fine. The FAR right however are a real issue.
Same. I watch with distrust anyone who tries to tell others what they should say or what they should do, in any side of the political spectrum. I don't trust you if you tell me I can't joke about religion, I don't trust you if you tell me I can't joke about trans people. I don't trust you when you say people can't do what they want with their body, be it wear dreadlocks as a white person or get an abortion (yes there is an alive fetus involved but it can't feel anything, so the woman's freedom definitely takes precedence). Don't try to impose your morals on other people and you're good in my book. As long as you don't physically harm others, you should be able to do what you want with your life. As long as emotional damage goes, it's too subjective to be regulated by law, hence speech should stay completely free. Most of the time people should be able to control their emotional reactions, so it should be up to them to deal with whatever they feel when someone says something they don't like. Nothing should be outlawed because it "offends" people, because it's them who decide to get offended. And at the same time, the concept of "canceling" or obstracizing someone for something they think is abysmal to me. People have to learn how to disagree in a civil manner and be tolerant to those that don't think the way you do. The only thing that's intolerable to me is the lack of tolerance itself, and boy there is lots of it both in the left and the right nowadays
People rediscovering humor is probably the best part of all of this. Jokes that made you feel like an awful human being for cracking up about them were probably my favorite part about growing up.
If you can't laugh at the sight of some poor sod born with a concave skull, is that really living? But if you think about it, when you adopt "Trust the process" for a mantra would that not include such cases? I mean we can't say w/ 100% certainty that they didn't have it coming. I'm not the one who mangled their human frame anyway, AFAIK.
As a millenial, seeing all you kids come to same sane conclusion I came to and getting better? Hell yeah kids. Well done. Keep it up, and everything just might be okay. Watching you guys find joy and humor once again, watching you guys clap back against woke cultism, is like watching my son happily open christmas and birthday presents. It warms my heart to see this.
I think the LGBTQ+ community is ok but when stuff like neo pronouns or abusing being transgender (what I mean is a man identifying as a woman and then going to a womans restroom to harm them) and there's something called tri gender where you feel all three genders at the same time I think that that's going too far but maybe I'm wrong
Brett is really getting good at those ad transitions, I used to be able to see them coming but now they are so organic it just feel like a natural continuation to the conversation, great work
I was also bullied by woke people who were my friends. So much harassment out there and when you tell people "no" they lash out more. There's no self control or awareness. Or there hasn't been for many years. Just recently have I been thinking more about how growing up white and moreso wealthy does not make me a bad person.
I just wanted to thank you for your comment. I never realized that someone growing up with wealth might feel like a bad person. It's so easy to envy others who have what you may not, but just because someone is wealthy doesn't mean their life is perfect or vice versa. I am sorry that you have experienced things that made you feel that way, you deffintely should never feel bad for being rich OR poor. It is the choices you make, the way you act, how you treat people, whether or not you keep your word, or behaving in a true and honest manner that reveals a person's character. That's why I can say that from your comment alone, you are a good person, with a good heart. I hope you don't doubt that again. Wishing you all the best!
Having wealthy parents isn't anything to be ashamed of! In fact, be proud that you have such successful parents, and while I don't know your relationship with them or anything, but by the sound of it they're decent people, so I think they'd want you to strive to become the best version of yourself and be better than they were.
Your channel has really opened my eyes. My younger brother and I used to argue with our parents about what’s socially acceptable and how it’s important to accept everyone no matter how different we are. But now things are completely complex and crazy and I am no longer woke. My brother absolutely remains woke but I feel my views are becoming a lot more relaxed because I’m listening to sane people with scientific facts. Gen Z are finally growing up and realising that normal isn’t so bad after all. The idea of being different and having a community led people astray but now people have jobs and are just trying to get by. The world just gets madder and madder and people are finally seeing that.
Tulsa King (Sylvester Stallone’s tv show) really captured it in one episode. His character having been in prison for so many years and coming out to this world, it really is mental.
In all honesty, your channel has really done a lot to fix my mindset. I'm 15, I grew up with phones, laptops and TV shows. In ages 12 - 14, there was the lockdown and I was 'chronically online'. I have to say, I genuinely used to believe whatever the leftists used to say because there were not many people refuting them, even if there were, they most definitely didn't show up on my fyp and that says a lot. I'm really glad I found this channel because had I continued to grow up watching all that trash I don't even want to imagine what I'd have become.
There are TONS of people refuting them. They just get banned, shadowbanned, and have all their comments and videos deleted. THAT'S how Democrats operate, by using their control of media to create a FALSE consensus and using peer pressure to make people deny reality just to fit in
Glad to see you embracing different mindsets and not letting yourself be in an echo chamber, but I really hope you don't see "mocking the most extreme takes of one side as if they represent the entire side" as "fixing" your mindset There are some bad takes on both sides, but i would reccomend compassion over ridicule. Look at ideas individually and figure out what people are trying to say and if it makes sense before you mark off every member of a group. If you aren't sure, follow the science get a look at different perspectives from both sides and remember it's ok to make mistakes sometimes as long as your goal is to do good, you are at an age when learning is pretty much the best thing for you to be doing, but it's really easy to fall into mindsets that aren't productive in the longrun.
@Kat Brown I'm 15 and Asian, I don't come across such things in my society and the adults around me avoid such topics too. So basically, the internet has taught me all I know about such things. Thanks for the advice though!
I’m 19 and go to the most woke college in fl and I don’t care what people think of me anymore. I just say what I believe unapologetically. I’ve had enough of this shiz, it made high school a living hell.
Yes thats the perfect attitude to make it in this world. The woke is gonna scream, cry, and stomp their feet and more and more people are gonna develop the same kind of attitude you have. And when its mainstream to ignore the annoying woke crybabies their influence and war on reality will be over for good.
Even though I'm left winged and sometimes disagree with some of Brett's opinions, i can totally get behind why people are so irritated and frustrated with the far left. I often come watch her videos to help put things back into perspective and get the views of both sides of the political spectrum. It's clear she's a very intelligent person who cares deeply and despite some differences and disagreements i have with certain views, i find her refreshing to watch. The world needs more passionate, honest people like her speaking who are not afraid to speak their mind.
As fellow Gen Z and as mixed gay man, cause somehow race and sexuality matter when having an opinion now, I would love to say thank you Brett and many others apart of the daily wire for not backing down making sure the woke agend gets pushed back, I am a normal man with conservative values and somehow because of that the LGBT community hates me but im glad others in our generation are noticing what's happening and starting to think k for themselves
what you said about race and sexuality mattering now to have an opinion is so true. Its so sad honestly. Its like you are only allowed to have an opinion if you this particular race or sexuality and thats ridiculous. We preach inclusivity to the brim and literally excludes everything that makes no sense.
Spot on ty for your comment. I am tired of people bringing sex/race etc into things as we (people in general) do not need to know who is what etc and who they prefer sexually. But sheesh this has got out of control and i feel for people like yourself that just want to live their life and not be put in a box and labelled. I feel the LGBT community has been infiltrated by activists and have their own agenda. If that is true i feel for you even more to see it change.
OMG ME TOOO!!! Yoou just explained me (but female.) And God, I always hated my sexuality, and gender being brought up to defend how I thought. Like-- Idc who i go down on and what ethnicity I am-- That does not compel me to think like everyone else who MAY or MAYNOT look/act like me. I'm my own person, and last time I check individuality was what we use to fight for why are we reverting back to being confined into a box?
im 19 and used to be into that woke shit for the last 5 years… now im just realising how tragic it all actually is. Im okay if you wanna express yourself whatever makes u happy but theres a line and if you so much as say one thing against them they r so fast to call you every -phobe, call you ugly or a loser because thats all they can say since their own ideas dont make sense
I was a goth kid back in the 90's. Back then we kept to ourselves though we were nice to everyone other than the rich preppy kids. Regardless we never went around demanding our lifestyle be accepted, not did we ever try and convert others like some perverted religions do. That's the problem with the current generation, far too many of you squirts are tyrannical in nature. You're a bunch of authoritarian assholes. Being goth embraced being different without giving a damn of what others thought. Your generation cannot stand standing out without having others get on their knees to make them gander at their "individualism." It's pathetic.
When I was in lockdown I was the same. I consumed too much of that “woke” content and it made my mental health worse. I felt like I was walking on eggshells whenever I posted something on the internet because everyone seems to get triggered over the slightest thing. I put myself in a victim mindset and always saw the worst in everything. Eventually I got sick of it and started challenging my beliefs and now I can say I’m in the middle ground. I’m not entirely left or right leaning as I think both sides have flaws. I’m so much happier now, I don’t blame others for my problems and hold myself responsible for everything I do. I’m so glad others are starting to wake up to all this nonsense
I'm 14 and some days ago i was at the beach with a friend and we started talking about pronouns and genders, and we started reading all the descriptions for all the 72 genders. We laughed, but then we talked about trans-kids, and we were both absolutely disgusted.
As an older dude, I've literally never met someone your age who goes along with this nonsense. Zoomers as a MASSIVE group (and an equally large generalization) caught on to this ten years ago. I work in a restaurant, and I work with an overwhelming majority of young people. Literally every single one thinks this is absurd. As a gen Xer, I'm not afraid of your parents. That idea is laughable to me. Y'all need to catch up with that idea. An adult isn't correct simply because they've been wrong for the last three decades. That's not how any of this works. Remember, there are people like me (most of us), who have been right for WAY longer than they've been wrong. That dorky loser who used to make fun of you in class? That's literally every millennial. Just smile and nod, they have no power, money, influence, houses or jobs. Literally irrelevant generation.
I have an argument with gen z saying "geyness is the future" and there's 40% gen z is "gay". I'm shock and disappointed at the same time. And yes dude's legit not troll.
I have never been “woke” despite being 19, and thing is, I owe it to my parents for having me brought up religiously, and also that I was only granted my first phone at 15. My parents didn’t allow us to have TikTok or Instagram accounts at that point of time.
Same here. I remember seeing the musica,ly advertisements back in 2016 or something, and thinking "huh what a mindrot scam" like it was some sort of Instagram garbage. I might have tried it if not for their excessive advertisements that got on my nerves. Here's my advice: stay away from "social" media, and if you use it, make sure that you aren't coerced into having competition with other people on it to show off. Don't let anyone trample on your values. And if you're getting jealous over other people because of it, then the time has come for you to stop using it.
Omg same even the ages of giving a phone, they were right, I wasn't allowed my own individual social media until 16 aswell and they were so right to do that
Its natural for kids to want to rebel -- and when EVERYONE in the culture is DEMANDING you say & do the same thing -- i hoped a new generation of cultural punk rockers would emerge. If it doesnt, we are truly at the end. Thanks Brett. This was nice to see.
Strangely enough, conservative is the new "punk rock". I've been saying this for the last 3 years. But there are people that called it wayyyy before me. Hopefully we see this gain more traction, but don't expect it to be televised outside of these pockets of the internet. This revolution will indeed not be televised.
Notice how all these people in these tiktok clips are also woke lgb people. It’s because the alphabet alliance is currently undergoing a civil war, with JK Terflings on one side, and 600+ gender people on the other side...
I’m only 35 and I feel old but seeing you and other younger people in your chat not believing in the woke narrative make me feel younger! Amazing job bringing light to the Bulls**t that is out there!
Notice how all these people in these tiktok clips are also woke lgb people. It’s because the alphabet alliance is currently undergoing a civil war, with JK Terflings on one side, and 600+ gender people on the other side...
@@crazysilly2914 You can be LGBT without being on the left. I literally have a lesbian friend who loves her truck, gun and, hamburgers WAY more than I do. She's a centralist like me.
As a (just turned) 23 year old this is very comforting. For the past several years I’ve felt like I must be the odd one out among my generation and very nervous for a future where I thought more and more people would absolutely hate my values and treat me like a pariah or like I was a monster for having them. My own older sister who votes Republican thinks I’m a weirdo for wanting to wait until marriage and had somewhat tried to talk me out of it. Very comforting to hear that many of my generation might not be as far away as I thought.
Stay based Zoey. Your future husband will be very lucky. There is an understated dignity to those who wait for that one person which will never go out of style.
19 years of age and the exact same very thing over here. Except my older sister, despite not agreeing with me, does not try to talk me out of it and does have more common sense than a lot of people (liberal, woke) I have seen.
Assuming you're telling the truth about waiting for marriage, on a subconscious level woman consider you a threat and may try to talk you out of it. Do not listen. We men love, I mean literally love, being the one and only. We also like it when the community bicycle ranks us in the top 5. Not when Chad and Tyrone put you in their top 5. Weird I know, but believe it or not; not being a 304/f boi is good for both genders pair bonding. So girls should wait for commitment and guys shouldn't ego boost off the town glory hole. If only people could grasp that.
You are not alone. My brother also waited until he met and married his wife last year at the age of 25. I’m the oldest of 4 and have always supported his decision to wait. It’s a beautiful thing and don’t let anyone tell you different.
Brett is the absolute QUEEN of the segway. No one, NO ONE, can transition as smoothly, and cleverly, into an advertisement as Brett. It’s become a part of why I watch.
I'm 14 and when I was 12 during online school, we were talking about the issues going on in the world and the class was a bunch of left woke kids. I spoke my beliefs and I accidentally started a whole argument. I felt attacked honestly and thought I was wrong.
The only "wrong" opinion is the one that brings others to physical harm. Offending people is not the same thing, remember that because a lot will try to tell you your words are "violence". Not possible. As others have said, stay strong and don't let anyone pressure you into speaking words you don't believe in fully!
@@roisingrant I mean, words do become violence when a kid self-harms and or kills themselves because of something someone said but that is just my opinion.
I'm a millennial whose hopes for the next generation were very grim... but this illuminated some of that hope within me again. I'm so glad to see that the pendulum is swinging back in the right direction and more people are speaking up against the ridiculous ideologies these people are trying to force upon society. The more we speak out, the more footing they lose.
I remember Milo Y. predicting that gen z being one of the biggest group of conservative shit posters back in 2016 these must be the kids he was talking about.
Most people don't realize almost all the regular ppl In my generation are busy starting business and not posting TikToks so you won't see our opinions online as often
As an older millennial (I'm almost gen X I think) I can't lie, I'm effing relieved to see gen Z pushing back against this nonsense. I was very worried for kids of this gen and the next one. Y'all are our future lol, just voice your concern and opinions!
I have 2 grown kids and I have NO IDEA what "generation" they are. What happened to Gen Y? Did you guys kill them off or something? Just tell us your age, please. Some of us don't really go for all these labels. And why are you sad, wolf?
Think of us as a copy machine the older millennials print ink were good because us older millennials that were born close to the end of Gen X are so much like gen X. then after 3 or so prints the ink went bad and with each print after the younger millennials came out all messed up.
I have been watching narcissism growing since the late 60's. It has finally reached 'critical-mass' and too many younger people seem to believe the world revolves around them and they are just so special that their whims should be catered to. One thing that helps build strength in this narcissism is the positive attention given to these people...another is the fact that it gives them some level of power over others in their speech and behavior. Add media and government validating this behavior and we have a recipe for disaster. I am glad that some are waking up and pushing back. I only hope it is not too late.
Hi Brett. Gen X here. I’m so glad to see young people like you exposing this woke madness and seeing other Gen Z waking up as well. Nowadays, anyone with common sense is labeled far right. I’m from Canada so my own Prime Minister has called us many names. Keep up the good work 👍
You actually have changed my perspective so much as a 27 year old who was far far left and proudly woke until recently and now i'm educating myself and learning just how insane this woke/cancel culture IS absurd!
@allieannette3712 It partly is, mainly because most people on the right just want the truth to be known and the left is fighting them because they have a woke agenda and want to spread lies. Ofc not all of them. The wokeness is for example, " Boys can have babies", "A heartbeat isn't an indicator of life", "Hamas isn't a terrorist group that wants to commit genocide of the Jewish people around the world." "Men can compete with women in sports and still be fair", etc.
I'm not being disingenuous at all. The wide spectrum of which people use for 'woke' is astounding and the fact that NOONE who ever uses this word can actually define what it is is very telling. Edit: when liberals use it, they just mean to be informed and conscious about social injustice. That is almost never the way conservatives use it, similar to their usage of socialist and communist, which is hilariously used interchangeably for people and policies they don't agree with.@@BradLeroy
I'm from Colombia 17 yr old guy, who reject all this woke stuff keep doing this videos Brett, people from all over the globe need this type of content thanks for your work
Me as a 50+ woman secretly enjoying the fact that you read all these ‘social media speak’ abbreviations in full so I finally know what they mean without having to ask a younger person 😅 Love your content btw! (See what I dud there) Hugs from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Lol I get you, the abbreviations are all for text for convenience. But when reading them out loud it is UTTERLY ridiculous to literally say "b" "t" "w". That's just calling for public mockery.
Thank you for making this video. I’m a Gen Xer and often feel on the outside of where culture is currently. I’m also raising an 12 year old girl and worry about how the culture will impact her. It’s reassuring to know that not all Gen Z is in line with these ridiculous ideologies that are being shoved down our throats. You’re a breath of fresh air! Looking forward to listening to more of your content.

I know people who have changed their gender and sexuality more times than I can count, just because they ‘don’t want to be straight.’
It’s become a replacement for a personality:(

'A replacement for personality.' You hit the nail on the head there. I love it when smart people speak up. Thank you. Honestly.
I’ve deleted tiktok, and I’ve started to do my own research on politics instead of believing everything’s that told to us at school. I now realize that we really were being brainwashed into believing “woke” culture, and I’m finally breaking out of it because of channels like these! Thank you ❤
Don't let it go too far the other way. Brett's wrong sometimes too.
People get into trouble when they start making politics their identity.
Get off tik tock and instagram and get back to using your own brain and speaking with people in person. It's very refreshing
Good job!
So sad. When I was 12 I was too busy having fun with my friends to care about shitty political takes. They're literally ruining your kids lives. Im glad you were able to have your eyes opened.
I'm 22 and I moved from being "woke" in highschool to more conservative/independent in my adult life. I'm glad that there are more of us out there.

Two things that happened to me that honestly just did not make sense:
Thank you for sharing
💀
I’m a 19 year old who just recently discovered your channel and you’ve really been helping me navigate out of the whole “woke” movement and realize I’m not a bigot for not wanting a biological male competing against me in sports

It's something my Boomer parents always used to say: "when you're my age, you'll understand."
It's not fashionable to praise Boomers, but in this case, they were right.
Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! I try to be open to other ideas and not judge people for their opinions and beliefs.
100% same. like how far will it go before they're done?
SAME SO GLAD MY PARENTS ARE CHRISTIAN

you quite literally saved me from wokeness, you and a few other channels like this. thank you, i feel like i woke up from a damn nightmare
It’s called growing up.
I’m glad you had your eyes opened!
So happy to have you with us!!! ♥️
A beautiful ending ❤ glad you've found the natural path of life
So happy for you!
Many woke people don't actually understand what they are arguing for, they do it because someone has told them it's right. There really was no thought process (for me at least) beyond "I want to do the right thing. These people are telling me all these things that don't sound right but they're older than me so it must be true".
Welcome back to the real world.
@@stayforver That goes with my theory then, Gen Z thinks these things up but its the older generations sustaining it and encouraging it. I've noticed that pattern a lot, its like indoctrination they target children tell them of the ideology then gaslight them into thinking they are that ideology. A lot of Gen Z are waking up cause its just a stupid teenage thing they thought up ( each generation had their stage of rebelling against society and thinking of stupid things) and now they are growing up so stop believing it but older adults are now trying to knuckle down and make people believe it
i dont live in a woke country, I'm actually from a SEA so..i wanna ask, do people really go around doing Woke stuff or we know their political affiliation when things/conversation get political
Thank all of you!! It's rough being a black conservative! I'm glad to have some company. I am glad to see some common sense in Gen Z, too!!
I've come to the point where I'm never shocked anymore by the racism of the White Democratic Left toward black people who don't live on their plantation. It's always disgusting, but no longer surprising.
Gay conservative here. You’re not alone when it comes to breaking the mold, thank you!!
Thank god too. I'm Gen Z as well and it's nice have some people who are conservative here in this generation. Thanks for standing with us brother.
Glad you're here, as a straight white guy I'm not allowed to espouse any of these opinions... Or maybe I'm the one who's chronically online.. lol
I guess I would be considered a centrist lesbian who really hates narcissists.
Maybe I can hook you up with my conservative gay friend lol
Yesss I'm genz and lesbian this has gone too far. I'm not quirky, as much as I'd like to i cannot change who I'm attracted to. I just want to date/marry someone else who is female, also, since when did transgender get intertwined with gay stuff
God can heal your broken soul. Seek and ask Him.
I’m proud of my generation for standing up to this bull 👏 it’s crazy how the world is now.
I would absolutely love to see more of this type of content. Both parties and all ages and skin color calling out NONSENSE TOGETHER.

Also, my step mam, who has had a hysterectomy and who was described as barren by the doctor, was asked if she thought she could be pregnant! This was quite upsetting for her as she was unable to have any children of her own. I mean, how can a woman with no uterus be pregnant? It beggars belief!

GOD bless you
One of my so called non binary friends came around and actually said "tbh I dont care about the non binary stuff anymore. I know it for myself but im not going to worry about other people not knowing it or misgendering me"
And I was like "WAIT WHAAAAAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?!?!?!?"
The whole idea to begin with was self-centered and unrealistic. The average person on the street can't be expected to just know your "preferred" gender. Your cashier shouldn't be expected to have that conversation with you. Even those that know you are going to slip up when you've done nothing to really change your appearance to the other gender.
That's how it should have been since the beginning. Identify however you want in your mind, but don't expect others to do the same.
@@ggeemmiinnii She's not insecure. She doesn't need validation from others. That's good, healthy, and normal.

Chronically online. Thanks Brett, that explains alot about Gen z. Glad common sense and the real world is being acknowledged now.
The only person who I feel I can openly talk about politics with is my partner, who has always been conservative, and my older family members, who are like "wtf is going on with people nowadays??"
your story is very similar to mine!🥹🥹
Same age, same story. I drifted conservative from 13-16 because of all the videos calling out "SJW" culture back then. Little did we know how much worse it would get LMAO
Oh my god same here girl.
Check out Sickipedia sometime.
Indeed, graveside humour, the best type of all lol
If you can't laugh at the sight of some poor sod born with a concave skull, is that really living? But if you think about it, when you adopt "Trust the process" for a mantra would that not include such cases? I mean we can't say w/ 100% certainty that they didn't have it coming. I'm not the one who mangled their human frame anyway, AFAIK.
Ahh the good ole days

I think the LGBTQ+ community is ok but when stuff like neo pronouns or abusing being transgender (what I mean is a man identifying as a woman and then going to a womans restroom to harm them) and there's something called tri gender where you feel all three genders at the same time I think that that's going too far but maybe I'm wrong

Its mere jealousy. They all want to be you.
Having wealthy parents isn't anything to be ashamed of! In fact, be proud that you have such successful parents, and while I don't know your relationship with them or anything, but by the sound of it they're decent people, so I think they'd want you to strive to become the best version of yourself and be better than they were.
I’m 13 and your comment section voiced my thoughts in a way I couldn’t. Thank you Brett. ❤
I'm glad that Gen Z is finally become aware of this; things are totally out of control right now
I've concluded gen z has normalphobia.
THAT'S how Democrats operate, by using their control of media to create a FALSE consensus and using peer pressure to make people deny reality just to fit in
Glad to see you embracing different mindsets and not letting yourself be in an echo chamber, but I really hope you don't see "mocking the most extreme takes of one side as if they represent the entire side" as "fixing" your mindset
There are some bad takes on both sides, but i would reccomend compassion over ridicule.
@@DrSmart20 Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it!

Even though I'm left winged and sometimes disagree with some of Brett's opinions, i can totally get behind why people are so irritated and frustrated with the far left. I often come watch her videos to help put things back into perspective and get the views of both sides of the political spectrum.

Here's my advice: stay away from "social" media, and if you use it, make sure that you aren't coerced into having competition with other people on it to show off. Don't let anyone trample on your values. And if you're getting jealous over other people because of it, then the time has come for you to stop using it.

Strangely enough, conservative is the new "punk rock". I've been saying this for the last 3 years. But there are people that called it wayyyy before me. Hopefully we see this gain more traction, but don't expect it to be televised outside of these pockets of the internet. This revolution will indeed not be televised.

It will be transgender punk rock they thems. Hahahaha punk rockers are weird so they’ll fit right in.

Have to admit, I always love Brett's transition to sponsors - "car self to carzing" 😂
I’m only 35 and I feel old but seeing you and other younger people in your chat not believing in the woke narrative make me feel younger! Amazing job bringing light to the Bulls**t that is out there!

@@crazysilly2914 You can be LGBT without being on the left. I literally have a lesbian friend who loves her truck, gun and, hamburgers WAY more than I do. She's a centralist like me.
@@jordanmatthews1466 true. You can be LTBG and a republican, but you can’t be GLTB and a conservative...
Gimme
I love how Brett always seems to slip an advertisement mid sentence so smoothly 😂 and I’m actually starting to have hope for our generation
I’m pretty sure that people who hate her are pissed by the way she transitions into the ads😂😂😂
if im honest i was genuinly confused a bit when she did because i didnt realise she was advertising something until i looked back at my screen lol
Her Dad, Ben Shapiro, does the same thing.
If you consider the fact that she's actually Ben Shapiro, then you'll realize she's been doing that for awhile now. She's gotten pretty good at it.
It’s partially annoying and partially impressive. It’s like when a tv show used to go to commercial right when the show is starting to get good 😂
I'm one of the Gen Zs who was raised right, and all I can say is, this woe stuff needs to end, and I hate tik tok.

Stay strong!
crazy how differing political opinions makes all young teenagers instantly suprised pikachu face
The only "wrong" opinion is the one that brings others to physical harm. Offending people is not the same thing, remember that because a lot will try to tell you your words are "violence". Not possible. As others have said, stay strong and don't let anyone pressure you into speaking words you don't believe in fully!
Stay strong, you will find friends who aren't batshit crazy
@@roisingrant I mean, words do become violence when a kid self-harms and or kills themselves because of something someone said but that is just my opinion.
I'm a millennial whose hopes for the next generation were very grim... but this illuminated some of that hope within me again. I'm so glad to see that the pendulum is swinging back in the right direction and more people are speaking up against the ridiculous ideologies these people are trying to force upon society. The more we speak out, the more footing they lose.
It's also a good idea to support groups like LGB Alliance that go against their narrative!
I remember Milo Y. predicting that gen z being one of the biggest group of conservative shit posters back in 2016 these must be the kids he was talking about.
Most people don't realize almost all the regular ppl In my generation are busy starting business and not posting TikToks so you won't see our opinions online as often
Yeah millennials had so much pressure I was wondering if it was the end of sanity...
Millennials and boomers are the absolute worst. Really GenZ and GenX always fixing what they destroyed...
You’re a breath of fresh air. At 46, this gives me a more positive outlook.
@@ronjones-6977 Gen Y = millennial
@@ronjones-6977 millennials ARE Generation Y. Same generation!
@@ronjones-6977 gen y = millennials, its just another term for gen y, similar to gen x being called latch key kids or gen z getting called iGen.

You actually have changed my perspective so much as a 27 year old who was far far left and proudly woke until recently and now i'm educating myself and learning just how insane this woke/cancel culture IS absurd!
what is woke culture? I always hear about it, but it seems to just be whatever the right doesn't like.
@@allieannette3712you’re being disingenuous. You know what woke culture is. You know it’s not “whatever conservatives disagree with.”

Thank you for making this video. I’m a Gen Xer and often feel on the outside of where culture is currently.
