Rocky Bleier is a man among men.
He should have a real film made based on his story.
If Vince Papali gets a Disney film, Bleier should get a 5 star film.

A TV movie was made back in 1980. It wasn't very good. It should be remade (as Miracle was).

I started at Notre Dame the year Rocky was drafted. The highlights of pre-football games at that time were prep rallies in the old Fieldhouse (no longer there). The two greatest pep rallies I attended were when Pat O'Brien gave his 'win one for the Gipper' speech and when Rocky Blier came back after being wounded in Vietnam and then making it back onto (and excelling on) the Steelers squad. As Rocky told his story, there wasn't a dry eye in the Fieldhouse - I'll never forget that night.

Believe it or not, I found a Rocky Bleier signed old jersey in a Goodwill store couple years ago. Paid 30$ for it. Kept it on a hanger for two years. My wife is from Pittsburgh and a big football fan. Finally, I had the uniform framed by a professional framing company in Tucson. It looks great with Steeler logos in all sides. It's hanging in the parlor with all her other memorabilia from the steelers. Sertainly looks like a signature from Rocky based upon my google search. No matter. It's hers to enjoy.

I wasn’t there but born April 18, 1980 in Allegheny county. Raised in small coal mining town 17 miles NE of Pittsburgh for 28 years and bleeding black n gold til I die!!
My family experienced these moments (though quite a few blackouts early on, all radio broadcasts). Rocky, Franco mean Joe, that team was Pittsburgh life. Country city to country life. Yes I wasn’t born but they showed me this. Though the nfl and pro sports back then all around was like that. Hard nose, no BS over the top flashy entertainment.
Rocky great man as we had others. Incredible how he came back.

I'm going to say it I think the NFL people in Canton Ohio need to get your s*** together and they need to put Rocky Bleier in the NFL Hall of Fame this is a Hall of Fame running back fact that this guy could have after 11 games in the NFL bought his way out of the military draft didn't have to serve our country but did anyway and also got injured was told to never play football again and ended up coming back and having four Super Bowl rings and being the 4th leading rusher in Steelers history how the hell is that nada an NFL Hall of Famer. His story is inspirational and incredible and he was one of the key players that helped the Steelers win 4 Super Bowls in the 70s you know what I say that's an NFL Hall of Famer how you still kept OJ Simpson in there after he was convicted of murdering two people and you know what I'm going to say it I don't want Rocky Bleier dead and then the NFL people finally cave in and decide to put them in the Hall of Fame put him in the NFL Hall of Fame while you still alive why you can see him wear that golden jacket.
