Akanksha Singh Yes she is, it’s easy to learn from her
In Japanese society, people are taught to act very friendly to the public. I'm just saying in case you do go to Japan, that's not who they actually are. It's mainly just a mask for most people.
Sensei: “And 100..?”
My dumbass: “jyuu-jyuu!!”
Sensei: “hya•ku!”
My dumbass: “oh, or that”
I said the exact same thing *smh* I definitely thought I was on to something
Totally did this as well 😂
Ha I said dat tooo LMAOOO
I read the comment first and was like ok but when she got to 100 I was so confident “JYUU-JYUU!!” and when she said “hya•ku!” I laugh so hard and said OOOOH that right I am dumbass!

Zarah-Marie San Miguel I was curious so I googled and I'm impressed.
"A theory the Oxford English Dictionary ventures about the origin of -lif- is that it is cognate with Germanic words meaning "left" (in the sense of "remaining"), so that eleven is "one left" (that is, one remaining after counting ten), and twelve is, analogously, "two left""

Learning this language is so impressive. The letters, how the language is spoken, the culture that comes behind it. Its all unique and special. Japan.. if they ask me what country would u ever consider being born to, it would be it. Thats how much I love it.
So when you say 3 and 9 together it become "Thank you" LOL~
And when you put 1 and 2 together you get - itchy knee

Such an excellent teacher. She’s patient and the use of repetition makes learning fun and engaging.
I like the way she has people repeat them so as not to forget the previously learned ones. Much better than some others who go somewhat too fast for me.
Japanese: 3 = san
Korean: 3 = sam
Definitely not going to mix those up ever...
in thai it's "sam" as well :D
chinese: 3= san1
I'm sure in Thai that not the right way to say 1 because am from Thai and that not how you say it

Her voice is so soothing, it makes it so pleasant to learn 😌
OMG BEST TEACHER EVER!! MY NOTEBOOK IS FULL OF JAPANESE!!!! 🇯🇵
4 = yon 7 = nana. "Shi" and "shichi" does not need to learn.
4444=yon sen, yon hyaku, yon jyuu, yon.
7777=nana sen, nana hyaku, nana jyuu, nana.
Why is it Yo in here but in the others it's Shi.
Levi Mabuan "SHI" pronunciation is not used much in Japan. "YON" is much practical use.
In addition. . . death = 死 (Japanese pronunciation: "SHI") *Ominous*
Izanagi & Izanami never give soeone 4 flowers in Japan. Especially during funurals.
THO games Varieties of the flower is also important. Roses can not be used in the Japanese funeral.

thanks for the lesson, i appreciate it, just keep it up
i have a question : do you have an android app ?
Unique SQUAD I have used 3 apps to teach myself Japanese: Hiragana Learn, Katakana Learn, and Human Japanese. I also sometimes use Memrise for extra practice but Memrise isn't that good by itself. These can all be found on Play Store.
Hiragana and Katana Learn help you memorize the symbols so that you can read and write in addition to speaking. Human Japanese is like taking an actual class and it will also teach you the symbols (but very quickly), so it's best to use hiragana and katakana learn first until you are comfotable. Human Japanese is extremely informative and you will learn a lot not only about the language but also about the culture as well.
Zarah-Marie San Miguel are they subscriptions, paid or free
Unique SQUAD I found a youtube channel that lets you learn Japanese happily!

Thanks for the comment! We answered this in a Q&A episode of our current series Uki Uki: ruclips.net/video/rq8t0I1yMzM/видео.htmlm10s feel free to check it out.
words with a r in front in japanese has the la sound not ra sound I hope this helps
Arigato gozaimasu, the video you recommended was extremely helpful.
There is no difference between "L" and "R" sound in Japanese, so pronounciation is rather personal and depending on where in Japan you've grown up
Angelie Samuya She is pronouncing it like "L" because there is literally no difference between the L and R pronounciation in japanese, even tho there are no L in the alphabet, pronounciation is dialectal.
Thank you so much for making this video playlist, it's very helpful and easy to understand! 😃
her: "gojuu-san"
me: " GOJOO-SANNNNN"
is it me or after this video i feel like a tokyo native 😂😂 such an amazing language
Isn't 4 also pronounced shi? Do you just say yon?
4 can be pronounced shi and yon. It changes depending on the word. For example, 四番目would be pronounced "yonbanme" and 四季would be pronounced as "shiki." Please feel free to ask more questions!
JapanSocietyNYC Tis is the same for 7, right? it can be both Shichi and Nana. Depending on where you put the word.
Why do all japanese teaching books explain just fragments and memorising words? Why never explain the logic.
For example they say genkina hito means energetic person in another instnce they say it means healthy. Why not explain why. Why does hajimashite mean how do you do, when hajime means to beginn. Why is it that japanese industry is perfectionist but japanese language teaching is worse than that of a third world language.
AutumnFallsOver Because "Shi" is root meaning/relating to death in Japanese most tend to avoid it as it can be seen as an omen of bad luck. So I've heard. This is for the other 2 people as well, since your question has been answered because it depends.
+Autumnfallsover Yes 4 = Shi/Yon and 7 = Shichi/Nana
Good job and be blessed we need more from you
