  • Garage install of the new forged Rockjock by Currie Antirock sway bar on our 1997 TJ. The process is the same on all TJs and LJs 1997-2006.
Also shows tips on how to remove the stock sway bar if you just need to replace the bushings as well.

Nice build, just curious where did you get the RED decals for the Anti-Rock?

Hey, I just bought a TJ from a buddy, my first jeep. I could put those sway bar disconnects to good use.

replaying from my personal account. This was the 2nd Jeep I have done anti-rock on. Here's what I can say. It is not as stable on road, especially at highway speeds. It is amazing to not have to disconnect, even if it is just a dirt road or the beach, it is helpful. You do actually lose some full droop on flex, test that on the RTI ramp and went farther up with the Anti-rock disconnected. All that being said and living in Florida, I prefer the antirock. With having to disconnect, it was always hard to pull them and re connect i you are not on perfectly flat ground, you get all dirty doing it, and they always seem to be in the way and the tires hit them when flexing. But if budget is an issue, discos can be had for a 1/4 of the price of antirock. So all comes down to preference.
