Thanks for the video. I just ordered my Currie lift and will be performing my first install on my TJ in the next few weeks. I am learning from your "mistakes" and "successes". Please continue to say things like "if I were to do it again, I guess I would do it this way." I find that very helpful. Good luck with the rest of your install. I will be closely watching and learning. Can you post the links to the instructions and information that you are using? It might be helpful to follow along.

I have an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn and only looking to put a 3" lift with 33's. I have not seen a Currie 3" lift kit anywhere. Has anyone??

I have not but you can call them, they're very friendly. I don't think the difference between 3 and 4 will be really noticeable.

Hey nice install video! I was wondering if you have a update on the finished lift and what you think about it? I was also looking at getting the same lift.

Sunny Mares I finished the front but stalled on the back. Ride was better than before for sure. I think it’s high quality but I don’t have a ton to compare to!

I hear ya! I appreciate the reply. I'm honestly about to order the same Currie lift but with there anitrock and there double adjustable uppers. And yeah keep us posted or a follow up video when your done on your opinion of the kit would be great.

Sunny Mares the double uppers make sense if you don’t mind the extra $, adjusting them for correct angles would be much easier so I would definitely recommend. My Jeep had the quick disconnects when I bought so I didn’t consider the antirock but I’ve heard good things. Good luck!

Any updates and any helpful tips? How do you like the Currie lift? I was thinking of getting the same kit that you have and was wanting to see when part 2 was or at least a update on how it is doing? Is it possible to do one side at a time? Thank you

I’ve still be side tracked unfortunately. You can’t do one side at time but you obviously can do front or back separately. I like this lift, I would have gotten the double adjustable arms. Good luck!

So how are the end results ? Considering this lift. Instead of some cheaper brands

I have been happy but I think shocks contributed the most. I can’t say that paying a high premium for control arms and springs will be worth it unless you are really off-roading, when you need the beefy strength. I would start with shocks and go from there. The double adjusting arms would certainly make the home install go much quicker and would help future alignment shops.

If you dont do much offroading why did you go with a $3,000 lift instead of a $900 one?

resale value, wanted high quality parts, wanted smooth ride, wanted quality bushings that won't wear out as quickly, and money wasn't the motivating factor for me, wanted a fun project to learn, needed customer service and figured Currie would be easier to work with down the road if I needed something. Thanks for watching!

TheMorgancalhoun hopefully soon! I finished the front and also got the steering installed before Labor Day but didn’t record. I need to get back out there and do an update for sure. I also need to finish the back!
