The Sony a6700 is a great camera and worth what it costs. The difference between the two cameras is huge, but the price difference could be ridiculous, so it's better to buy the a6700. A6700 owner here...I fail to see a single major difference between this camera and the A6700.. same sensor, same processors, they just adjusted the software to be more beginner friendly? If they release this to be sub $1000 it'd be an excellent deal...
$1000 is too high for a cropped sensor, no IBIS, no EVF, not many dials, not a stacked sensor so there will be rolling shutter, plus I would be surprised if there aren't overheating issues especially at 4K60. I think A7iv at $1600 is looking a much better option, full frame, IBIS, EVF, loads of control dials for $600 more. Or the original ZV-E10 for about $500 now.

You didn´t mention one of the biggest downsides of this camera, if it´s true? I heard that it doesn´t have a mechanical shutter??? If that´s the case, it´s not any good for photos at all. Although you kind of marketing it as an affordable camera, I don´t agree on this considering that it is 1100 euros compared to 600 euros for the version I and 1500 euros for the way better a6700. I was shure I wanted to buy the new version II right away and now I´m massively disappointed. No way I´m paying 1100 euros for this.

Nah, there's no AI chip for autofocus, no IBIS and no mechanical shutter. Not really close to a6700 at all. They kind of lost me there.
