Great storytelling and reporting. I live in Tallahassee. My best friends family lived in Calloway. My Mother and I were in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada as Michael was coming in. It hit the day we were supposed to fly home (flew home Oct. 11th instead). We were 2,700 miles north east having to watch it unfold on CNN and CBC. Seeing where landfall was I worried about my best friends family. I texted him and said "You'd better not be in your house right now". Thankfully he texted back and was safe in North Bay County. A week after the storm I headed over to help him clean out their home and was stunned by the devastation. Forests I've seen all my life were fallen over and cracked. The landscape I knew so well was simply gone.
I'm coming to this video 7 months later. I hope others will see it and share.

different regions simply refer to something as 'the storm'. This one is ours. This was well done.

Awww. Did you catch what that sweet lady said. She said - “ daughter in love “ !
I just couldn’t imagine loosing EVERYTHING and everything in your town also !! I wished that I helped more.
So sorry ! I’m sure this still hurts !!! 🙏😞❤️

    This is bullshit.
    Pure.
    Bay County actually rejected help.
