AN ARTIST,,,,, !! VERY WELL DONE 👍,,, THANK YOU FOR YOUR STEPS,,, GREAT 👍 INFORMATIVE CHANNEL,, YET MOST OF ALL,,,, YOUR DEDICATION TO THOUSANDS OF US !! TXS AGAIN…
Nice pattern thank you for sharing! Also, this is exactly how a tying vieo should be done, 2x speed, low volume non-agitating music, good lighting, great detail! Other video tyers should take note! Thanks again!
Really nice looking fly! What is the greyish synthetic that you use for the top/back of the fly? Could you possibly list tge materials used? Thank you!
You could use both and I have done. The soft EP Fibres are prone to tangles from experience so need to brush them regularly. Icelandic sheep is softer, thinner and less coarse than nayat so you don't get the same volume. If you only have sheep available IMO I would blend it with JBM Pike Skinz or SF Blend just to add a bit of volume when shaping the head.
Watching a Monoghan Video on Sunday, now my daughter is wishing to send out greetings because she likes the flies so much! Thanks for the Video!!
Made my Sunday🙂
@@paul_monaghan today she almost joined me 😉maybe next week I have a fishing child 🤩

I always wanted to know how to use an entire buck tail in one fly =D Love it mate!!
Ha ha, a little time consuming these old vids and be fair don't use much bucktail. These days simple is best for me
So many layers! I see bait fish that look like this in the James River.
Super nice fly with great proportions! Well done!
Thank you Holger
Nice and very instructive video. Tks
wow! nice one!!! and i really love those loops inbetween and the used materials!! crazy volume creating stuff!! thumpz up mate!!
I just subscribed. Great tie and great video.
To nice to use 👍 i Will give it a try
That White Flashabou is awesome!!
too true

This would be killer at 1/2 size for Smallmouth Bass! I'm guessing it's a neutral fly as not sink or float? Seems it could be very versatile!
divine!! Thumpz up!!!
very nice fly and nice instruction
Thanks both
As usual, a brilliant video. In future, any chance you could list the 'ingredients'?
Jeff Kennett I always put them in the description
Hi Paul, I've looked and for the life of me I can't find it; whereabouts is it?
Jeff Kennett if you expand the description it's all in there
Ah, I didn't know you could do that!!! Cheers Paul
No problem Jeff..next challenge is to find all the materials from one shop ;)
Отличный стримерок получился.
Really cool fly!! what is the different between Foxytail and Skeena Nayat..? length?
Having used both, yes length with Skeena being the longer. Both are very good hence my recommendation depending where you are in the world.
does icelandic sheep the same job like nayat? or to use synthetic fibers like funky fibers? Im from Czech Republic
You could use both and I have done. The soft EP Fibres are prone to tangles from experience so need to brush them regularly. Easy, thank you Paul
I will have to tie some of these up, the northerns by me would annihilate these!
Topissimo
Sorry, don't know how I could miss the list of materials! Lol
Jesper Vang Møller easily missed👍
Fantastic pike fly! What is nayat? Fox? husky dog breed?
John Watson search for Snow Runner as it's called also. I believe it's a breed of goat. No 100% sure on that
Slovenian sheep breed
