Keep the 450 vids going man, I have one too, just finished installing both steering clutches, already pulled the motor and replaced the fly wheel clutch too
One of the best video,s I've seen so far on these 450's, well done, what a great feeling fixing them, and they work so well when there done...great job, thanks much,I have the seal leaking on the clutch side and now I know why...Good stuff...
Awesome video man! I been on the hunt for a winch for my 450c up here in Maine! Been worried about getting one and having to do all of the same work! Didn’t look to bad though!
There is a 3305 winch about an hour from me. Not sure about the differences but I been holding out for a 3325. They want almost 3K for just the winch and I have a feeling it would need a full rebuild as well lol.
Good job! I have been getting my JD 350c dozer in running shape. Eventually I have to get to the winch. Hopefully it will be just a frozen cable, but you never know.

Hi, I would say you should really use silicone grease on the rubber seals when assembling, as ordinary grease can attack the rubber.
Mine was the oil pickup tube milky snot plugging up the screen then it was clutches after I got it working
Where I’m from logging operations love those little dozers easy to work on working winch adds tremendous value about 5000
Yea its a decent little machine. Moves through the woods easy
Now it will pull the dozer if you hook to a big enough load
Burning off brake band never works, bite the cost,,I've done many of them, John deere part only, so much easier, then it's fixed
Thanks for the info.
Why do you use bolts not clevises
Your gona have to give me more detail on what your talking about?
Oh my bad I'm ment to commet on the putting on tire chains one
@@Loggeraaron1990 oh ok. Lol and because i had bolts on hand i would have had to go buy clevises. Just impervised.
