How much did the parts cost to rebuild the steering clutch? Looking to buy a 450. The steering clutch are stuck and I just want a ballpark of the cost involved
Don't recall at this time but I'm sure the parts were under a grand. Are you sure the clutches are stuck? I've run into the band being rusted to the drum.
@@Otisdiditagain thank you for replying back a blasting cabinet is a great addition to any shop I wanted one and they are pretty pricey so I built one myself with a bunch of scraps I had laying around I have a welding shop. Thanks again 🤙🏼🙏🏼

Could you have sandblasted the internal and external housing parts to clean them up? Or not a good idea??
That would be great if you have a blast cabinet,unfortunately I do not. So I just cleaned them up the best I can.
