Ive bought a HISOIT UV Sterilizing Water Filter Bottle im not sure if it has a uv light and a filter in it but it seems pretty good maybe you can review that bottle and see how it does against larq or more expensive brands as it was 20 quid compared to larq which is over 80 pounds.
There was a study where UV light filters are not very good at actually filtering water like a normal carbon filter, for a backcountry filter it really isn't a good idea.
Yea, I knew it wouldn't do any kind of filtering, but I was hoping to see some small microorganisms under the microscope to see if the uv light visibly affected them. Going to work on my sampling and microscope skills and try it again in the future with other water sources.
Very interesting video keep up the good work
