I appreciate that y'all mention Takeya a lot. The spout cap closure system with the ice guard is a super underrated design. I haven't seen any other like it on the market. I don't own one (only familiar with it cuz I used to steal it off my ex lol) but it would be my first choice if my 'ol Ozark trail bottle ever kicks the bucket.
Really debating between Takeya with spout lid vs. Hydroflask with straw lid. Which one would you choose just between these two? Nice, informative video!
I personally would go with Takeya. They're less expensive, and they have a really good lid. But I'm a little biased because I generally prefer spout style lids over straw lids, so keep that in mind. They're easier to clean than straw lids in most cases, and Takeya does a good job with that too because they make the seals easier to remove in the lid (they have little pull-tabs). But if you really want a straw lid, it's hard to go wrong with Hydro Flask with their Flex Straw, or go with Owala as an alternative.

Yea, they have a good bottle and lid for a pretty fair price. Hard to go wrong with them.
I use a widemouth mason jar😅
I fell hard into the HydroFlask fad about 6-7 years ago. Now I just use my 'ol trusty Nalgene.
I don't want any bottle smaller than 40 Oz. I have Hydrflask and love it.
