Caligula's Horse is one of the top 5 progressive metal bands of this time. Hopefully there will be a new album soon! Rise Radiant has certainly spun a few hundred times in my player.
You guys helped me get off drugs and alcohol 3 years ago. I haven't been listening to music lately, I'm 33 today I guess my taste in music is getting more wise and more and more bullcrap is being pushed down our throat and eyeball holes. Please keep making music. Hopefully I get to see you guys in June Orlando!
Not more bullcrap does get pushed in our throat, you just realize how rare good music is. Remember, all the crap of the past is forgoten, and I am sure there was a lot of it like today!
Hey Dan, good on you for giving up those vices. Never forget that is all on you man. Inspiration comes in all kind of forms, and while Caligula's Horse is your inspiration, you couldn't have done it without personal drive. Gratz buddy, and keep it up.
I also got into Caligula's Horse recently, I absolutely love this band. I listened the full way through Bloom and In Contact and I'm blown away, they're so talented
You call algorithms blessed? You are here because you have been listening to this kind of music and would have discovered the band anyway, so hail the musicians and not RUclips.
This band for me at first seemed cheesy, then I stepped back for a few months and returned about a week ago. This whole album sends it to the moon. I love it!
Today is my birthday. I'm in my home with mom and dad, but is really sad to be distant from my friends and other people of my family. This song is a great b-day gift for me. I really appreciate this, thaynk you very much.
I feel guilty. Opeth has been my sworn favorite prog metal band for 20+ years but I have been listening to a shit ton more of Caligula's Whores (jk) these least few years. Absolutely IN LOVE!
You can praise CH for a lot of things... but Jim’s vocals are kind of overlooked. Amazing range and he carries some vocal hooks like very few other vocalists epically during a chorus.. this track is another great example of that.
Lol, literally everyone praises Jim's vocals while Josh's drumming is overlooked. I would argue Sam and Adrian aren't nearly as mentioned because their dynamic is amazing. Tasteful yet neoclassical, groovy and chuggy, huge fan!

Thank you so much for continuing to make music, guys. You make the world a brighter place, and you deserve everything.
Dude you have to spin "In Contact" constantly. One of the best albums ever made, in my opinion. And make sure you watch their video series explaining the themes behind the album! Makes it so much more fulfilling
Just discovered this band yesterday after hearing the KILLER new tune by Haken, and lovin this song. Excited to get more into them and get the new album. Consider me a new fan who actually still buys CD's.
Crazy spectacular song. The film clip is fantastic. The timing of the vocals to lead guitar is super good. I haven’t heard a band like them. The drum timing is super good. And heavy, impactful bass. Can’t wait to hear your new music. Rise radiant is the absolute best yet. Can’t stop playing it. ❤❤
Rise Radiant was the first album I listened 3 times in a row when I first put my hands on it. I thought In Contact was unbeatable and you guys did it (again - cause I thought Bloom was unbeatable too). Caligula's Horse is the best band that appeared on earth on the last 10 years.
They popped up on Spotify a couple years ago in a play list I was listening to and I was blown away. Dream the Dead was the song and I had to listen to it about three times in a row and I then looked them up on Spotify and started following them. I'm 47, a guitar player since the late 80's and I dig the newer progressive metal. My ten year old loves Parkway Drive. He'll ask to listen to the band that does the screaming and he'll do it.

New CH in May and new Haken in June. Prog is all that's getting me through this pandemic!
Cheese Katatonia, Trivium, and arguable DGD also on April 24th

Long solos get boring. A song shouldn't be about the solo anyway. If the song can't stand on it's own, it's a bad song.
Discovered this band today. Was driving home when that killer chorus caught my soul. Absolutely amazing musicianship.
