A story for every one else...one of the great joys and things I could actually look forward to during the pandemic was a few times a week, hopping on a Zoom call with Alexandra, as we went through all the different takes of Gennady's vocals. Everything Gennady does is improvised and felt in the moment. So then Alex and I went looking to capture that magic among his performances ("oooo" takes, as we called them). And I remember the moment Alex and I came across the climactic gesture at 10:03 and the immediacy of our 'holy shit' reaction). This song exists in the form that it does in large part due to those Zoom hangs, and hence why Alexandra Bitker is credited for vocal comping, and will have rightly earned her Discogs entry and profile when the moment comes. ✊

I know that the word "masterpiece" is terribly overused, but there is no other more appropriate description: This (and the rest of the forthcoming album) is an absolute masterpiece.

I understand you can't probably do that day after day. What a match here!!!! Haunting back up vocals is an extreme compliment to this song! All the instruments here make it almost IMPOSSIBLE to have the full experience without earbuds or headphones. If you are listening to this with just your phone sound, I'm sorry but youre missing out, unelss of course you're blasting this from your speakers. Which is also valid, my neighbors will love it 😊😊

I kinda wish Gennady's voice was louder. From what I hear, he sounds amazing, but his voice is definitely not loud enough. it's hard to tell the difference between Daniel and him. Great song tho.
