I think how hard you press has a lot to do with how long the pink wax lasts and the pen tip could also play a part.
I’ll talk about it more once the pink wax stops working.
      Thanks for watching! 😊

Jim, I have been meaning to ask you 'how do you keep those bigger DP's in those clip frames, do you glue them in so they do not fall out?' Not that I use them, but I did do a painting for a friend, and she s frustrated with both of them. Thanks.....

Hi Richard, I started using magnetic frames a while back because I hate the reflection you get with glass/plexiglass.
They work fine with smaller canvases but the larger canvases are too heavy for the magnets.
I now buy strips of beading from the local hardware store, cut them to length (Slightlly longer than the canvas), trim the sides off the canvas and trim the top and bottom so the canvas doesn’t show above or below the strips.
I then spray paint the wood black and let it dry.
I only need two strips of wood, because there’s no need to put anything on the back, then I staple the canvas to the wood from the back.
Finally, I staple a length of round waxed cotton ribbon (It looks like the stuff you get with magnetic frames) to the back of the top strip and hang it up.
I swap my completed kits around, the wooden strips attached to the canvas makes it easy to roll the canvas up when not being displayed.
I will be putting a video together, showing exactly what I do but it won’t be this weekend.
I got a wisdom tooth pulled on Friday, which broke into pieces. So I now have a throbbing gum with stitches in it.
Videos are going to have to wait until I can talk properly again. 🙄
