Thanks for the video Jim. I’ve got one of these tips in my favourites as unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment. However, I have managed to drill out a standard brass tip with a dremel and 1mm drill bit and fit it in one of the new pens. It works ok although tends to push out with the pressure from the putty until it settles down. Hopefully when I next order a painting the new tip will be back in stock, looks a good replacement 😊

Hi John, I know that people have been glueing the standard brass tips into the original plastic tip and they’ve been working but I prefer the idea of a solid stainless steel tip.
It should last for a very, very long time.
It also adds a little bit of extra weight to the pen, which I like.
