All the accolades are very well deserved! You are a rare act. I actually got hooked. Our very Kenya Tourism Board should take note that you have done much more in one visit in promoting Kenya, in a very authentic way, than they could in a year. They should retain you as an a tourism ambassador, especially targeting the diaspora market!

In Kenya there are two types of property/land ownership terms; 1) Freehold- this is for Kenyan citizens where you permanently own the property until the end of the world. 2) Leasehold- for non-Kenyans who lease the property for 99 years

Your ending, oh my! in each coverage, though I profess not to understand the words, cuts deep into my very soul as I believe you are speaking to the Centre of our individual existence. 1:08 Dude is clueless. Kenya has restrictions. Foreigners can only have 99 year lease but locals are not bound by leasehold unless the property they purchase is already on leasehold, if it is freehold then it remains so only to Kenyan citizens. However, if peoperty is freehold and a foreigner purchases it it automacally changes status to leasehold. No foreigner can own freehold property in Kenya.

That’s because inflation in Ghana is significantly higher and fluctuates more than in Kenya. But the inflation in Ghana reflects significant economic activities which is good in some sense but bad in other cases. The homes being sold in dollars in Ghana are not for locals obviously. These homes by and large are built to western standards.
