    GARRY KASPAROV GANGSTA'S PARADISE: ruclips.net/video/XNIRay_zN80/видео.html

    To be 13 years old and say "I stand a chance against Karpov."
    That's one of those things I just can't wrap my brain around. How do you put enough information into a 13 year old brain to beat Anatoly Karpov. I'll never understand that.

    • @004chestnut8
      @004chestnut8 3 года назад +30

      Genius indeed

    • @004chestnut8
      @004chestnut8 3 года назад +53

      And also he was trained by Kasparov. Kasparov as one of the greatest chess players of all time knows exactly what knowledge to pass on to the next generation

    • @TheGrandmaster1
      @TheGrandmaster1 3 года назад +119

      @@004chestnut8 That's what annoys me about "Oh just work harder. Success is all hard work" bullshit. The hell it is. SURE you HAVE to work very hard. But to be able to beat Karpov at 13 you have to be a once in a generation genius, but also, to be trained by Kasparov himself is also an extraordinary thing that gives you an advantage over everyone else. That's luck/talent right there since yeah Kasparov isn't going to train you if you aren't super good, but you have to be pretty damn talented to get his attention, so it's a double luck right there.

      @@TheGrandmaster1 yea. Magnus' memory is otherworldly, and his winner instinct is incredible. He is indeed a perfect chess player

      @@TheGrandmaster1 i believe he was trained by Kasparov much later, in 2008-09. But, anyway, human brain develop and build a neural connection until 18-20 years old, I believe. In other words, child's mind process of an information is much quicker than an adult. That's why we were able to learn how to walk, speak (sometimes in a different languages) and many other things. Adult would spend decades to learn all of that, if he could learn it at all. That's why the sooner human start to learn chess, the better he will be. And, of course, the amount of work and effort he will put in.

      I think his biggest flex is being 13, playing Gary Kasparov, and getting up from the mutha fuckin' board because you're board and don't even need the time you have to play Kasparov.
