    Imagine studying chess your whole life to become top 0.001%. You play Magnus and think you’re holding on, then he starts sacking pieces, and even you feel small because you can’t see the 20 move mating sequence in advance.

      @RaniaIsAwesome2400 players are usually just theory nerds. When you go up from there u gotta be able to switch it up quick. I’m 1600elo and haven’t studied theory at all so I kinda know that if u read them like crazy, u will be at that 2000+ elo after years of play

      @@piotrek7633 it's a game I'd love to be good at, but then I play and realize anything above 1500 just becomes so much theory and memorization, I'd rather just do anything else in life

    5:45 - doesn't Magnus give up the knight for no reason? He could have moved it to e4, where it would be protecting the bishop.
