They wouldn't make a custom like this for just anyone. The real "value" is technically priceless because it's a one of one. But he absolutely did not pay 3 million that number was a joke from someone in his entourage and he even laughed at it. Making a crown like this would cost well under 500k. They used 8000 micro pave diamonds totaling 137 carats which is less than two point diamonds (look up 2 point diamond) which would cost well under 200k. They claimed they spend 1300 hours on it (probably a massively inflated number since it was 4 craftsmen stated to be working on it). Assuming 200 dollars an hour for an artisan craftsman (a very high amount) thats another 260000. Putting the actual cost for it at a high end of 460k. You could most likely have a similar one made by a jeweler under 250k.
