thanks! I didn't know anyone would want to hear them...I should have stored them better...the tapes were thrown in a box in my basement for almost 30 years and many have been damaged by tape mould.
@offmodel Question : How did the audition process go for Arthur ? . I know in 1995 , most of the cast were already contracted on The Little Lulu Show .
@@GMANKOOL23 yes, Montreal had a small group of actors that were extremely good...Cinar's bread and butter was doing French and English dubbing of TV shows for the Quebec market. I wasn't part of the audition process for Arthur so I don't know how it went, but I know Marc Brown really wanted Michael Yarmush for Arthur, his voice was absolutely perfect for Arthur...that was the main reason the show came to Montreal.
DAD! WHY Won’t Spanky Wake UP?! From Matt Neff: “THAT Parrot Is Definitely DISEASED!!” “Ah He’s NOT Dead, He’s-Uh, RESTING.” “The Parrot IS NO MORE - THIS Is An ‘EX-PARROT’!!”
I don’t know who you are, but Those recording sessions was like omg we discovered behind the scenes voice acting 😂 FYI: My father was older than the entire arthur tv show's age. Do you have... Arthur big hit recording session?
I worked on the infamous 'Big Hit' as the Storyboard Supervisor back in 1998 so I should have it in my boxes somewhere. I'll get to digitizing them all soon, although some of the tapes have tape mould so I don't know if they're playable anymore. I threw out so many over the years...I never imagined anyone would want to hear them. I guess Arthur was a popular show!
@offmodel really nice to have you there! I hope you're okay and safe and I wish you the very best luck, So will you tell me the difference between the og storyboard & final storyboard (aired ver)?
Thank you for all these voice recordings of Arthur . The sound quality is impeccable .

These are really cool!
Thanks! 😁
Arthur Would Be Added Later
yes, it was 29 years ago so I can't remember exactly what happened but maybe Michael Yarmush was sick that day.

I hated this episode when I was little, I'm terrified of frogs and toads lol
I didn't know Arthur aired on "the Spot" one time!
Either I'm wrong, or it didn't.
