Interesting comment about fire arrows and damage coils. I never tested that. I did do a two bow setup in my first playthrough. One for speed+damage and one for fire. Speed I found to most useful, to my surprise. Without a 4 coil adept bow and mid game available coils I think it is probably easier to get all of the above using two bows. At VH and lower getting the magic elemental thresholds is helpful I think. 38 (75/2) for small machines weak to fire. One arrow to drop a glinthawk from the sky. 75 (150/2) for medium machines weak to fire (two arrows, snapmaw, sawtooth, ravager)). I wonder about the damage vs buildup affects on the overheat factor. This is really about deathbringers and then this is only a couple of fights in the game. I am doing a third play, first NG+ VH, right now an I am going to roll with your damage tip for my hunter bow. With adept I can get enough speed, fire threshold and enough damage in one bow.
A couple things. If you are confident in your aim, especially for PC players with mouse and keyboard? You can wait on silent and critical strike. A steady hand and some patience and you can put a hunting arrow through a Watcher's eye and drop them in one hit, from stealth if you are crouching in long grass. This is normal, not ultra-hard. I suggest making a manual save as soon as you get out of the tutorial missions, with adult Aloy. Then you can go back and try different starting skills. Currently I went for Expert Carver which required Shard Salvager. Critical and Silent Strike were picked up next, in that order. I planned to grind the Embrace a bit, doing the three initial side missions/errands first. And do all the hunting in between them. Picking up the green Warbow helps alot with this, for popping Scrappers.
love your guides bra ! excited to see where this horizon series goes ! Side note those tutorial quests dont have to be selected now i was on the quest to go see varl and and the one completed without me setting it!
I do buy multiple bows of the same type, max-coiling them easy. Might be counterintuitive, but once I get triple notch, depending on the machine, I sometimes have 2 hunter bows with fire arrows triple notched on each. Makes setting on fire multiple machines at the same time really quick.
Thanks for the video! I have all achievements in HZD, I got 100% on Ultra Hard, an there are still things I don't know. For example, I never used Harvest Arrow so far. But the amount of extra ressources is quite worth it. I also always used Fire Coils to max fire damage. Maybe I should switch to damage coils ... 🏹
Hey thanks! Glad you were able to pick up some new tips 😁 I'm planning to go into more detail on the damage/fire coil thing in an upcoming video as well because it's a bit more complicated than what I mentioned here. For now, I'll just say the rule of thumb is to try to have an even balance of fire and damage boost, however you can get that to work with the coils. Hope you're enjoying the remaster!
@@ArktixOfficial Then I'm looking forward to the next video. So far, I don't have that many damage coils anyway (except green ones). I started a new game on UH, and try to finish the main game first before getting the Banuk weapons from the Frozen Wilds. This is not the fastest way to play the game, but it's a lot of fun for me. Well, except maybe when you fight your first Thunderjaw and don't get the XP, because one random Carja soldier does the deathblow at the end. 😅
Scrap Salvager only provides 50% of the Shard Value, but if the a single item cost 1 Shard, you get 1 shard. If you dismantle the whole stack of it, like 100 Sparker, you get 100 shards as well.
Tip: at first hunting ground you can farm super fast - just talk to npc, start trial, talk again stop trial, mashine will respown, slide down, use fire arrow to kill all them in one blast, pickup stuff, back to trial dude, start trial, stop trial and enemies will respawn - repeat as many times you like.
Spoiler for the frozen wilds: You can get into the frozen wilds and do the first quest relstively easy. The scorcher you meet getting into the frozen wilds can be sneakwd past, and the first quest only has one obligatory comnat encounter which can be played with hit-and-run tactics. There are two more encounters, a pair of staökers who can be difficult to avoid, but you don’t *have to* fight them to progress. Later there’s a fight with a frostclaw, which can be avoided a little more easily.
Another tip that took me forever to realize.. I don’t like the big heavy rattler and icerail because you are slow in movement. But you can wield them from your mount and be much faster. This holds true for both HZD as HFW.
@@ArktixOfficial movement is a form of expression. She has the right balance between animation and responsiveness. I don't need her to respond like a Soul's game. My comment also applies to the machines (especially the body slam by a Fireclaw). I'm pretty critical about animation these days. Most of the effort seems to be placed on making inanimate objects look real while neglecting animation to last gen if not worse. If I can count the number of moves they have on one hand that is sad, like Kratos. I don't need the animation to look real all the time because these characters do unreal things. But when they move like normal people they should look like they move like normal people, have some granularity, not stop and go. Their super human movements I can overlook.
One setting I'm really missing from Forbidden West is to have the camera stick to one side of Aloy. Zero Dawn retains that weird "meandering camera" which keeps moving to the left/right sides of Aloy. Also, and I think this is a bug - some of the audio panning is strange in Zero Dawn Remastered. Sometimes conversation audio will get stuck in the left/right audio channel.
I've noticed audio bugs in the remaster, too. There was a major one (IMO) during a pivotal cut scene in the early game where the music kept cutting out randomly, which kinda ruins the presentation that the improved graphics enhance so much. (I've also seen some visual stuff, but it's so minor that I can't be sure it wasn't in the original.)
@@ArktixOfficial glad to hear it. I’m really digging the remaster overall. The visual uplift has such a big impact that I found myself just wandering around oohing and ahing like I did in HFW.
Been playing for months with very limited time and finaly completed Embassy quest the 3 banner thing. I thought i was like 20% into the game but as im seeing i dont think im even 5% 😂
Hey Arktix, great vid as always! Looking forward to more on HZD remastered because I have 1/5th of the playtime I have on HFW 😅 It seems like my game in capped at 60fps when having the screen in a higher refresh rate, and no setting change fixed it, do you have any idea why that could be?
Hey thanks! More on the way 👍 Do you have an AMD GPU by chance? There seems to be an issue with AMD GPUs capping out. Try turning on Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
@@ArktixOfficial Hi sorry I didn't see your reply, no that wasn't the case but thanks. If anyone else has the same issue : make sure your nvidia control pannel settings are the same as your bios settings when selecting a graphics card lol
Can you do a video for weapons or your loadout? And maybe explain the thing with the dmg coils for fire arrows. Or did i miss something? Thank you for your videos. They are great! The info for the pouch upgrade material is awesome!
Im not gonna lie, i was super disappointed they got rid of the lure call in forbidden west. It made absolutely no sense to get rid of it. They should have kept it, and make it a unlockable skill like they did in zero dawn
Don't hunt before viziting Grata. That make game to spawn hunt area with a bunch of rabbits, you could easily hunt for meat and materials for crafting. Mark all the rabbits in the hunt area, hunt them, but don't loot before you finish all of them (or other rabbits will vanish).
OMG thank you so much for this!!!! I completed ZD main story and only just entered the FW. Now the remaster is here, I’ve started the game from the beginning and this will help me massively 🩵
Great info!! Gonna be a fantastic help for jumping back in after a LONG hiatus! Quick question though. Is there any way to make Animals or Machines remain Blue after scanning/marking them with the Focus, like you could in FW? That feature REALLY helped me to be able to still see enemies both in the dark or while moving through thick brush! The little white arrow isn't quite enough sometimes.
I would love to see a guide for how to use the Frozen Wilds heavy weapons more effectively, especially the shock one (can't remember names atm lol). Wish we had seen these weapons return in Forbidden West.
Interesting to acknowledge that merchant from fragment 1:25 only in remaster got free items like armor and weapons but not in Complete Edition version...also skipping animations of picking up items only remastered version not Complete.
Btw, do you feel it's worth making a Beeline for the Skill that increases Knockdown rate w a Heavy Spear attack, Critical Hit + and the two skills that increase the damage of silent strikes by 30%? Would this be a good strategy early on to deal with small & medium machines mostly with just melee? Or would it simply be too weak to do so? Or perhaps it simply requires too many Skill Pts to be worth doing?
hey @arktix, found your channel when looking for hfw tips. question: since i read there is no trophy auto-pop for hzd remastered, can you pop the trophies that you get certain items like the shield weaver armor, if you already have it from your old save file? just wanna know if i can use my old non-ng+ save file to replay or just start a new game all over again if i'm gonna get the plat
Good question. I haven’t tested out all the trophies, but I assume for the shield-weaver you’d need to go get the power cells again and use them to get the shield-weaver again.
seriously, don't start Horizon Zero Dawn without watching Arktix essential tips first. without Arktix tips: meh, the game is boring and repetitive mess and often too hard with Arktix tips: OMG this is the best combat mechanics in any game in history! and the story!! got me ugly crying!
I’ve been playing this game for about an hour a year since launch no joke I’m about 7 hours in 😂. The game never clicked for me, which is probably why I didn’t realise you can scan enemies to find there weak spots until today when I watched a review for the ps5 version 🤦🏻♂️. A lot of this vid is going over my head tbh 😂. Plus how are you doing slowmo 🤔.

When you say damage is better than fire coils, for fire, is that because the damage aslo adds to the burn ticks, or it activates the fire condistion faster?
Good question. It's primarily because it boosts the burn ticks. Damage coils actually won't make fire buildup happen faster. It's a bit more complicated than what I explained briefly in this video. I'm planning to go into more detail in an upcoming advanced tips video. Basically, the rule of thumb is to try to boost fire and damage equally if you want to maximize burn damage.
I'm really struggling with the decision if I want to start new and experience it like I did in 2017 and 2020 or do I do a NG+ run with my high loadout of Frozen Wild gear...
Ah yeah. So, you could consider doing what I'm doing on my stream playthrough right now, which is NG+, but I made a duplicate of the save and then sold off all my stuff before starting NG+. That way, it's as close to a fresh NG as possible. I wanted to get adept weapons etc. in NG+, but I didn't want to blast through everything with OP gear. Of course, it's not perfect because you have all the skills and Sylens' lance, but it's worked pretty well I think.
Hey Arktix, I was so relieved when you showed in the video where to go (the main embrace) to use the tokens to get the weapons and outfits; so I immediately tried it and it was a no-go unfortunately. I still have 4 tokens left to get these items and I’ve tried so many merchants even in Banuk territory and all over Meridian and just about the entire map. None of them work for those tokens. I’m at a loss as to why this is happening. Could it be because I’m playing the HZD remaster in new game plus? But that doesn’t make sense as I was able to get two outfits and a weapon after completing “The Proving” Anyway, loved the video with lots of amazing tips and tricks that I didn’t know. Take care mate!
Hey thanks! That’s strange you’re having an issue with that. You’re just not seeing the boxes for sale at a merchant? I guess it could be a NG+ thing, but I kind of doubt it. I’ll check today on stream since I’ll be starting a NG+.
@ yeah it’s annoying because it would be great to have the other gear too, but never mind it is what it is. I’ll try to make sure I’m up when you stream your next video. Time difference in Australia makes it a bit awkward. Anyway thanks for the swift reply Arktix. 😊👍
I was able to redeem the tokens for the new Nora outfits/bow and the resource packs, but the Carja and Banuk outfits/bows are not showing up. I assume it’s because they’re already in my inventory from the Complete Edition save import. I guess those items don’t allow for duplicates? Which is weird, since all other normal outfits/bows allow for dups in HZD.
Aren't there coils with multiple damage types? I have one that has fire, tear, and damage on it. I wonder if you can get duplicates or there on of each special coil.
The base game coil and weave drops, I believe, are random. You can get coils and weaves with multiple damage types or devoted to one thing. Heavyweight machines will always drop purple mods. The Frozen Wilds has 11 special modifications that all have multiple damage types or protection types to them. These DLC mods are set values and not random.
Dumb question but what’s the point in grabbing the carja mighty bow when it seems to have the same stats as the default hunting bow? Just for the opportunity to add different mods?
I've heard others say that it's actually best to increase both Damage & Fire at an equal rate to get the most out of Burn, but you say this isn't true? I'd definitely like to understand this mechanic better. Fire was something I REALLY missed in FW & I hated how badly they nerfed it.... Honestly, the balancing in FW was kind of all over the place & wasn't nearly as tightly designed as ZD was. Was one of the very few things I was disappointed with in FW.
I would definitely like to understand theses mechanics too… but one thing I’d really like to know and understand is elements, which is best to use overall in HZD? I hear some people say fire is best and others say frost is best. I’ve only played HFW and know that fire was nerfed so I’m assuming that in HZD fire was the best element in the game perhaps
@ArktixOfficial Oh? I thought you were saying you could get the damage up to 600+% with just power? Yeah I definitely would like to understand this better.
@Moonlight88-x Depends on the situation man. Fire for tick damage while staying far away & protected vs Frost to just lay into an enemy quickly with arrows for huge damage. One is more defensive one offensive. You let Fire kill the foe for you while Frost is for increasing your damage output while up close & personal.
Can we get a NGUH advise video? (Specifically not +). I'm currently doing it and loving the challenge, and I have heard of quite a few others doing the same.
Nice challenge! I think I’d pretty much give a lot of the same tips as in this video. Mastering the fundamental Are there specific things you’re curious about?
@ArktixOfficial which gear to get when primarily The order of the skills, but like you said, address in this video. One thing I have picked up on my playthrough is that the spear is actually useful. Especially starting out, I think the spear is stronger than my bow. I was hunting goats for the bluegleam map, one heavy attack +default bow shot killed, or 5 (ish) bow shots. So I guess tricks for stealth(if possible) and when to and not to spear (light or heavy included. I've also found some frustration with sliding. And I can't tell if it's because I'm just timing the slide wrong or I'm just misusing it. As of this comment (and not my first) I was successfully able to get to the frozen wilds and acquire enough bluegleam to get all 3 bows, the icerail, and the spear modification slot. And the whole time I think I only *had* to fight a demonic longleg at the first tower. (Stealth killed the scrappers first) And cheesed a long distance fight with the snapmaw in the water basin.
@@ArktixOfficial also, in UH everything is expensive, so how/what do we save on and for. Also, I'm probably known to the Banuke now as the goat-ed huntress and may have caused a minor extinction in the area of goats with how many goats I had to kill to get 5 skins. Is there a "shoot here" to get more or less likely for "item x to drop?"
That scrapper pile doesn’t seem to respawn purple coils anymore, not often atleast I just ran back forth 6 times and the best I got was 1 blue coil, once.
Guys, does anyone know if it's possible like in Forbidden West to transmog one armor skin onto Aloy while functionally she wears another one? I haven't been able to find out if this is possible or not in the Remaster of this game and if not it's a little disappointing...
@@ArktixOfficial Absolutely, I just think as changes go, it would have been pretty easy to implement, so it's a bit of a quality of life oversight I do want to see in the future. Forbidden West didn't have it on launch either (I think). So Idk I'm probably going to pester them a teensy bit about it in customer support until they either say "we're doing it" or "we're not doing it". I do think they should add it in one of the next patches.
Yeah, it’s a shame that didn’t make it in. It really made it worth it in FW to keep those low-tier armors for the look, while not having to sacrifice the stats.
I have question. Is there setting to turn off zoom on nearest bush when you hit concentration and truing to lain perfect hit on robot weak spot? Because its really frustrating to get in position ,aim on the robot weak spot hit concentration for better chance to hit only to be treated by nice closeup on nearest bush or tall grass or other obstacle to completely obscure your vision. I don't know if this is new in Remaster or its problem in HZD vanilla as well :). Also hunting Tunderjaw seems to be death trap waiting to happen. Because when I engage him a flock of Glinthhawks plus pack of watchers and scrapers joins the fray. Despite the fact that they were nowhere to be seen before the fight. I like the game but situations like these do tend to frustrate me.
I would report the camera foliage issue on concentration to Nixxes. As for the Thunderjaw, my first thought is that the Antenna component may be calling in other machines. If you see a blue pulse come from the top of the machine and cover the land, it’s from the antenna and it’s a call to others to join. Removing the antenna could help with not having a machine party death trap. Also, if you’re on a higher difficulty, especially UH, machines can hear and see you from farther away. They can come to see what the fuss is about. Just my initial thoughts on why you get uninvited guests to the fight. Others may have some more thoughts about it.
@@vanessaboyko1582 You are probably right on the machine calling thing :) I'm trying to do UH. So yes this is probably more skill issue then game issue :D. But having the graphical "glitches" on top makes thing that much harder. Also I encountered this weird graphical issue in Meridian when if I'm in the upper city I get this light flickering. Its like the game is rendering spot where light from Sun should make spots brighter (through windows and such) but those spots start flicker in and out of existence. Its like stroboscope. And no setting makes it go away :( It detracts from really cool graphic upgrade.
@ I had some similar issues with weird flickering in Meridian. Meridian has been a bit of a graphical mess, as pretty as she is. I sent video clips into Nixxes of what I was seeing. The more who do, the better. PS5 had the teensiest patch, yesterday. So, hopefully things are headed in the right direction that way.
@@vanessaboyko1582 I play on PC and I did play the whole game to the end battle. But this thig has some serious graphical issues mainly towards the end of the game. Stuttering , missing objects (like whole gate when I was inspecting battlements before the end battle there was guard standing high in the air making his patrol on non existing gate :D ) and light flickering. Also this weird weather behavior when there is blizzard and then you make two steps and its sunny no cloud in the sky and when you turn around there is the blizzard again :D just like magic. I don't mind this glitches as other ppl do because I know development is hard and bugs are unfortunately thing. You cannot test all on all possible HW/SW combinations. So there will be always graphical glitches. I just hope they will do some do diligence and fix most of the issues in time. Otherwise the game looks gorgeous.
i think i must've sold my outfits from the treasure boxes or something because i can't get them again even though i have the tokens (i did another ng+) it's getting on my nerves

I planned to grind the Embrace a bit, doing the three initial side missions/errands first. And do all the hunting in between them.
Picking up the green Warbow helps alot with this, for popping Scrappers.
Awesome tips! Really appreciate the effort to help out new HZD players.
Thanks! Glad to hear you found it helpful 😁
love your guides bra ! excited to see where this horizon series goes !
Side note those tutorial quests dont have to be selected now i was on the quest to go see varl and and the one completed without me setting it!
Hey thanks! And oh really? I’ll have to check that out…you used to have to set them as active for sure.
I do buy multiple bows of the same type, max-coiling them easy.
Might be counterintuitive, but once I get triple notch, depending on the machine, I sometimes have 2 hunter bows with fire arrows triple notched on each.
Makes setting on fire multiple machines at the same time really quick.
Thanks for letting us know about damage coils and fire damage. Didn't know that.
Yeah it’s kinda weird! It’s a bit more complicated than what I covered in this video. I’ll go into more detail in another video soon.
Love to see it, was unsure if I'd play the remastered version but it looks enticing...
Also the tip about fire damage 😅😅 good to know
Thanks for the video!
I can't wait to re-experience this incredible game 🔥
Enjoy!
Great tips as always. Edit: Man, I have the green ropecaster just sitting in my inventory collecting dust right now lol. Glad you mentioned this.
Thanks! Yeah dust off that green ropecaster haha 😁
You can also just repeat the log trial repeatedly to get the blazing sun reward box and extra exp every time.
First gotta finish my hfw ultra hard run before trying the remaster but, already love going back
Spoiler for the frozen wilds:
You can get into the frozen wilds and do the first quest relstively easy.
This holds true for both HZD as HFW.
dude you hit 100k!! Lets go!
As always super good tips thx!
Hey thanks! Hope you could pick up some new ones 😄
Sure👍🏻
9:12 the scrapper is like whaat 😂
Thank you for the video. Great tips for the game
Thanks! Glad you liked it 😄
Hey ArkTix, roominkpaper here. Thanks for yet another fantastic guide.
Hey! Good to see you 😄 And thanks! Glad you liked it 🙂
The physics in this IP is superb.
Like Aloy’s movement? Yeah I feel like character control responsiveness is an underrated aspect of games. Aloy is super resistive.
I love this game and I decided to buy it on my PC instead of my ps5. My 4080 Super doesn't disappoint, holy crap!🎉
Thanks. Haven't played in a while
Glad you found this helpful!
The GOAT is back with the greatest Horizon Guides🗿🗿🗿
Haha thank you 🙏😄
Finally it is Here in all the beautiful glory this game deserves 😊❤
And even after all this time and all the videos of Zero Dawn You still manage to surprise me with Your tips and inputs about the game. Great Job!!
Yes! 🤩 And glad you enjoyed the video 😄 Thanks, Davor!
Yeah Nixxes confirmed in an email to me that they’re aware of the audio issues and are working on a fix.
@@ArktixOfficial Great news, love to hear it!
Looking forward to more on HZD remastered because I have 1/5th of the playtime I have on HFW 😅
It seems like my game in capped at 60fps when having the screen in a higher refresh rate, and no setting change fixed it, do you have any idea why that could be?
Thanks for another amasing horizon vid!
Hey thanks! I appreciate your support 🙏😁
Spear is the best for hunting rats in the cave. They could be better tracked if you first mark them with Visor.
Hey thanks! Hope you could pick up some tips 😄 Enjoy the new playthrough!
Thanks! And unfortunately, no, you can’t highlight animals like that in ZD.
This game story is just awesome
I would love to see a guide for how to use the Frozen Wilds heavy weapons more effectively, especially the shock one (can't remember names atm lol). Wish we had seen these weapons return in Forbidden West.
It’s in the works! 👍😁
I thought the maximum amount of tripwires is 15. After that, you can place new ones, but it will remove the oldest ones.
Man..the unlimited potion glitch still work😂..not to worry about shard anymore
I just wish I have the remastered version 😢
This game is SO MUCH FUN
Interesting to acknowledge that merchant from fragment 1:25 only in remaster got free items like armor and weapons but not in Complete Edition version...also skipping animations of picking up items only remastered version not Complete.
Yo arktix, what 4 weapons do you usually have in your loadout and how do you coil them?
such a w channel
Hey thank! I appreciate that 🙏😄
Btw, do you feel it's worth making a Beeline for the Skill that increases Knockdown rate w a Heavy Spear attack, Critical Hit + and the two skills that increase the damage of silent strikes by 30%?
Would this be a good strategy early on to deal with small & medium machines mostly with just melee? Or would it simply be too weak to do so? Or perhaps it simply requires too many Skill Pts to be worth doing?
do i have no life if i got the plat in 20 hours?
Absolutely dont
@ don't what
You have Horizon life 😌❤️🏹
hey @arktix, found your channel when looking for hfw tips. question: since i read there is no trophy auto-pop for hzd remastered, can you pop the trophies that you get certain items like the shield weaver armor, if you already have it from your old save file?
just wanna know if i can use my old non-ng+ save file to replay or just start a new game all over again if i'm gonna get the plat
Good question. I haven’t tested out all the trophies, but I assume for the shield-weaver you’d need to go get the power cells again and use them to get the shield-weaver again.
Why is it taking so long to use modifications. Also I took too long to realize that the 3 stacked arrows was a skill upgrade.
What about the Forgefire, Icerail or Stormslinger weapons? Whats the best coils to use for them?
Oh shit 40 mins ago, nice
seriously, don't start Horizon Zero Dawn without watching Arktix essential tips first.
without Arktix tips: meh, the game is boring and repetitive mess and often too hard
with Arktix tips: OMG this is the best combat mechanics in any game in history! and the story!! got me ugly crying!
I probably should have I’ve been playing since launch in 2017 and I’m about 7 hours in 😂 the game never clicked for me.
Have they added a camp chest yet? Or do i have to keep clearing my inventory to pick up more items?
A bit to late RUclips, earlier today I finished my first playthrogh
Thanks bro.
Glad you liked it!
This game is pretty great especially with the remaster, but the crafting and components are a bit overwhelming for new players.
If you’d like, I’m sure people in my discord server would be more than happy to give you some pointers or answer any questions. The link is in all my video descriptions. Feel free to drop by any time 🙂
Do all the weapon stats work the same in ZD as they do in FW? As an example, how does a ropecaster deal tear damage?
I did the spear quest early on, but I am wondering what's up with the spear damage coils since there are no coil slots on the spear.
frozen wilds theres a banuk shaman you talk to to get a side quest from him do that quest & u will be able to add spear damage coils to your'e spear
Me watching this knowing about the game while downloading the game 😌👌🏻
@@ArktixOfficial Well it seems like that if I want the platinum in it. I can't just start a NG+ run because certain trophies does not seem to pop.
Can you make video about zero dawn gliches that work in both editions
Hey Arktix, I was so relieved when you showed in the video where to go (the main embrace) to use the tokens to get the weapons and outfits; so I immediately tried it and it was a no-go unfortunately.
I still have 4 tokens left to get these items and I’ve tried so many merchants even in Banuk territory and all over Meridian and just about the entire map. None of them work for those tokens. I’m at a loss as to why this is happening.
Could it be because I’m playing the HZD remaster in new game plus? But that doesn’t make sense as I was able to get two outfits and a weapon after completing “The Proving”
Anyway, loved the video with lots of amazing tips and tricks that I didn’t know.
@@vanessaboyko1582the dlc mods can also be obtained again on successive NG+’s
Dumb question but what’s the point in grabbing the carja mighty bow when it seems to have the same stats as the default hunting bow? Just for the opportunity to add different mods?
Yes, pretty much. You can make one a damage bow and one a fire bow.
I love this game
I’ll be explaining that in much more detail in an upcoming video. But in short, yes, a mix of damage and fire is best.
@ArktixOfficial which gear to get when primarily
The order of the skills, but like you said, address in this video.
Hmm maybe just really bad luck. I check it and it does still work.
If I remember correctly, purple coils have an excellent spawn rate if you hunt a lot of big game.
How to make your pouch bigger
upgrade them with animal skins animal bone meats & shards it tells u on the right hand side of each pouch what you will need
Under crafting menu there is a tab for carry capacity, picking a pouch will show what is needed for the next upgrade
Guys, does anyone know if it's possible like in Forbidden West to transmog one armor skin onto Aloy while functionally she wears another one? I haven't been able to find out if this is possible or not in the Remaster of this game and if not it's a little disappointing...
Doesn’t look like we got transmog. I would have liked to have it, too. But for $10 we got quite a bit!
For regular HZD on PC there's a mod that lets you do it. It probably doesn't work (yet) on remastered. It's called AloysAdjustments by AkiniKites.
is there a reliable strat for scoring knockdowns?
Yes! I’ll be explaining that in an upcoming video 👍
What is the world does it mean to "prock" something?
Trigger
do you know if infinite jumping works in the game now
Like in the PS4 version of HFW? If so, no. That doesn’t exist in HZD.
Hello fellow horizon hunters. What's the fastest way to farm metal burn?
Farm corrupted machines like redeye watchers.
yay
Thanks!
