I personally never use a hunting area. Ai a bit dumb and your settles can get killed or roam to far or hunt when u need them ie harvest time. Makes it a little more micro Management though. Also set clothing limits to 125 %. That way it covers new arrivals and losses to degradation. Cheers Chris
Very true about the hunting area. I mainly use it till we can start farming. Then I invest most time into farming and only in case of shortage we'll do some manual hunting. But now its an easy way to get some extra meat. Yes Clothing should be a bit more then normal, but in the beginning there is so much work to do, that I try to limit all work that has no use straight away. Once we get really settled and have some extra time on our hands we will start to produce some stuff in excess to be prepared for the future a bit more! Thanks for the suggestion!
No unfortunately now. The amount of dogs a village can have is tied to your population. I don't know the exact numbers, but when you have to few, new once will join and be domesticated. You can also turn Wolf cubs into dogs.
I tried it. Performance is not up to standard for me. Game is very slow and demanding. And I think they overcomplicated things. You have to go through 6 or 7 clicks just to tell them to build a simple thing. And that over and over again for everything you build. I see a lot of promise for the game. But it has a long way to go and need a few big changes. But thats just how I see it.
Once you've gotten into Flint Tools, the best use for Bone is to make Bone Harpoons, which trade VERY well for other commodities. =^[.]^=
Thanks for the tip! That is very helpful for another run!
