Great questions! Happiness is made up from different factors. Most things won't really add happiness, but some things will take happiness away. So lack of food makes them less happy. Lack of warm clothing in the winter makes them cold and less happy. Even the dark hours during the nights (if you have no lights around town) make them unhappy. Happiness can switch quite fast though, because after a night ends, the unhappiness from the dark is removed. As soon as winter ends, the unhappiness from the cold is removed. Also events and raids have an influence over their happiness. So lots of factors involved, but you do have an influence over most.

True! But the people standing on then are exposed. Specially a bit further in game when the raiders use more archers they will get get more easy then the ones in the towers. So I do prefer the towers cause they preserve the lives of the villager better.

@@PatmosIV Towers are also not dependent on walls; you can actually build a tower on a hilltop some distance away, and even without anyone on it, it will give notice of approaching raiders. =^[.]^=

Thanks! I know that one. I always try to work on my village defenses first. Once that is up, I will place a few towers further out to spot raiders. In the beginning the raids are easy anyways, so no need to spot them early lol.

Are their real tanks in them now? I know you can get the ATV from the military and a truck. But a real tank I haven't seen yet. Would be great though!

I agree! If I play on my own I also try to gather as many tech points and only advance what I think I really need at that time. I try to kill a lot of Mammoths and such to get point. But for the purpose of keeping some speed I do advance faster in the series. Otherwise episodes won't really make much progression. And after all is unlocked it remains fun for a bit and then the game basically ends for me.

That would totally make sense, if the AI was up to it. But the AI isn’t that good. With only 2 men in a hunting zone they will only hunt the smallest animals, chase then all around the map once they past through the hunting zone and all the big game will be lost cause they deem themselves not strong enough to kill them. Yes this disrupts their tasks they do when I send them out, but I only send then out on big animals, or larger groups they take down quickly and bring all the goods in. It has been tested quite extensively by many players, and this is much more efficient then using the hunting zones. Which is sad, I wish they made the hunting zones work way better so we could really use them.

True. But I like to be prepared lol. Little hoarder here. And I like to get the stones out of the way so I can build me village in the whole area. But if you are really short on labor and things get tough, leaving the stone for later can for sure help you out.

That is also an idea. Although it has quite a low trading value, it does work to get the last number right for a trade!

Yeah I changed the colorspace from SDR to HDR. And made the compressionspace high. So it saves more details. Makes my computer work a bit harder while converting the edit I made, but really worth it!

Yesterdays upload had some issues so the quality was really bad (and the next 4 episodes I prepared for this week also were like that) so I found a fix for the quality issues and recorded and edited 5 new vids today. So it looks the same, it is different! And of better quality then yesterdays video. Thanks for you kind words!

Yeah I know! I prefer to do most of the hunting manually, since one of the few flaws in this game is that the hunting AI is superdumb. And I will try to get a tool surplus to sell those! Thank you!

I manual hunt only I only use hunting areas late game after I get about 50 animals I usually do unlimited cattle but horses have hides and meat so o use those since they can use plows and wagons

Yeah I try to do that too. Usually I do limit the amount of animals the village has, but hunting manually is usually the most efficient.

Well she was, but last night she came up with an inner ear infection so kept me up all night. She is asleep now for a bit during the day. Hopefully in 2-3 days she is fine again! Usually she is. Ear pains and kids are just bad combinations lol.

As far as I know there are no DLC's yet. This is still early access so not even a full game yet. They keep working on it!
