Tarja was a Siren. Floor is a Valkyrie. Annette was a Sorceress. All of them magical for different reasons. And in case anyone asks me. Marco is a Viking, and Tuomas is a wizard.

Уважаемый, я услышал в 2005 именно эту композицию ещё в исполнении Тарии и влюбился. потом Анет была, так себе. Но Флор вдохнула новую жизнь. Это шедевр.

Инна, я свою супругу на тяжеляк подсадил с помощью баллад Хеллоуин и Найтвиш с Тарьей. Потом были, конечно же, Ронни Джеймс Дио и Металлика , но, сначала был Найтвиш ! А Тарья - вот уж точно инопланетный голос.
@@Fifth2004 Увы но таврия закончилась примерно после 2001 года.. До этого да, она звучала впечатляюще.. Хз кто виноват и шо с ней стало.. Но ее звучание изменилось далеко не в лучшую сторону.. Но ты как истинный тарья фил, лишенный здравого смысла и музыкального слуха, скорее всего этого даже не заметил.. А что касается живых выступлений, то тут вообще все просто.. Тария на фоне флор выглядит как слепой котенок.. Единственное что у флор получается хуже, из старого репертуара, это Stargazers, и то через раз.. Во всем остальном это все равно что сравнивать колесо с машиной..

Por lo general, a los qué les gusta más con Floor es porque empezaron a escuchar NIGHTWISH de "Dark Passion Play" para acá, o en su defecto son fans de Floor de After Forever. También hay que entender qué muchos de estos fans "más nuevos" cuando van hacia atrás y oyen los discos con Tarja no les gusta tanto y eso es lógico porque la banda evolucionó con los años e incluso el estilo se definió más como un Metal Sinfónico y Cinematográfico qué como un Power Metal Sinfónico (es fácil ver ésto; basta con comparar "Human Nature" con "Oceanborn" y sé va a entender claramente a lo qué me refiero. Además, los discos actuales están mucho mejor producidos que en épocas de Tarja, también es lógico!) En cambio, los qué empezamos a escuchar NIGHTWISH desde el principio con Tarja preferimos a Tarja por sobre Floor SIEMPRE!.. Incluso, nos quedamos con Anette porque comparar a Tarja con Anette es ridículo, y Anette era súper simpática y onda, entonces, hasta nos caía mejor!!! Y después, están los que dicen "basta de comparar y disfruten" y también tienen razón! Yo disfruto del NIGHTWISH actual, incluso el último trabajo es muy audible también!

For a long time I was pretty tough with the posture that Tarja was the ideal combination for the band. Today, sickly I have to admit and I am convinced that Floor is a unique singer, she has really made me rediscover new sensations when it comes to music. time ago I did not accept it, today I can say that it was one of the best things that could happen to this band.
the only thing I've missed if Floor sings the old Nightwish songs is this volumination timbre that Tarjas voice got.I miss this operatic style. But Floor is the best singer that could happend to the band.

As for their last album, it's good, but no fireworks. All good things have an end.

It is cool how you can listen to old songs two decades later and you get a different interpretation from a different singer (and because the band plays it differently as well) Helps make the songs even more timeless.

YES ! i try to do that for 3 yrs now...I wanna do TOP 15 but its so fucking hard... with 3 singers, with so many aspects to look at - composition, lyrics, , instrumental songs, marco's solos, non album tracks, covers...
I am relatively new to this band but have followed them for a couple of years now O think all three singers are great.. I hope they come back to America I want to see them live

Anyone with more than 3 braincells can see and hear that Floor is what Nightwish is all about.. Charisma, stage performance, and not least an amazing voice spanning 4 octaves, from growling to opera.. Tarja is a one-shot pony and people can't understand half what she's singing..

The version of While your Lips are still Red with Floor doing backup harmonies is my fav. Nothing against Tarja... it's just that Marco is solo in this version and the gentle harmonies send this song to another level.
I am always amazed how these singers brain (memory really) work. I am happy to remember my name and birth date, and the last I start forgetting...kinda stay at 29 years old. And I still think "Marko is the `fairest`;) singer of them all."
It sounds like she's holding back on the chorus to me. Rumour is that Tuomas told Floor not to sing like Tarja when she began with the band so she had to dial it down. She does have a great voice regardless though.
Mega collection. None of these tracks are from the Floor 'Endless forms' album of course. That says a lot. They're a great band, but are now just trading on past glories.

In my case I think I would add/change "Swanheart" (From wishes to Eternity), Planet Hell (with Anette) and Romanticide (wacken 2013). They have so many good performances, it's hard!!

There can’t be a top ten without it IMO. Other than GSL, it’s the best! I’d say they are tied, but for different reasons.

Comecei a curtir a banda por causa da Floor, mas a Tarja tbem é excelente nos vocais...
The version of While your Lips are still Red with Floor doing backup harmonies is my fav. Nothing against Tarja... it's just that Marco is solo in this version and the gentle harmonies send this song to another level.

It sounds like she's holding back on the chorus to me. Rumour is that Tuomas told Floor not to sing like Tarja when she began with the band so she had to dial it down. She does have a great voice regardless though.
